2. Also, I was thinking it might be helpful to add a “persistent” post button, similar to X (Twitter), so that we can post from any page, without always needing to return to the homepage. The mobile version already does a great job with this by placing the post button in the center, which I find super convenient!

If you click on poll option, it takes effect immodestly and updates a poll status.
Of course, if your internet is slow or something is blocking your traffic you will not see updates.
So, usually it works if there is no any issue with network.

1. You have big issue with structure of menus. There no logic in the construction and placement of the menu in different places of the app. You have to put all settings in one page. 2. The switching from desktop and mobile its useless function. You need to keep only mobile version and forget about desktop.

Found a bug,
When you post an image and you click on it to open full screen or similar it croops the image from sides making it awfully long and thing.
Please fix so image shows as it’s original copy,
For avatar please add so that images do not crompress to poor quality since now it goes from original quality to compressed size, making it all pixelated when opening it up on bigger view.
Thank you. Bug related to some browsers, like safari. It will be fixed on future updates.
We provide image size optimization tools. By default, we compress images to 70% also convert them into webp format for better web optimization.
Compression rate can be changed from configs.
this bug occurs when using microsoft Edge (chromium based) So it needs to be fixed for that too.

Feature suggestion:
Add file/image/videos path masking method.
So when video plays in a player it shall instead of giving out real location or file name it loads video over an ID like it has video_ID=”857237” in web source coding for visitors and that makes them unable to leech the data further and for images it could be Image_ID=”8575763”, for files Files_ID=”857437” that way all official path location is hidden and not revealed and if download is turned on or right click to save file is possible or right click to open direct link it will then open up a url with something like domain.com/getfile/video/85737389 that way it won’t reveal the location of file there either and right click also show a iframe/embed code with file_id or w.e as well and for files it’s domain.com/getfile/download/89587 and for images it is domain.com/getfile/image/958378 but these are not accessible when you have must login to view then it redirects to login page or throws a message saying “Oops, you must be logged in to view this content”. While if site is open for the public it redirects to the post where content is.

When you open the desktop version, i.e., access the website via a Windows PC, you’re automatically on the desktop site.
However, if you’re in the PWA and you completely close and reopen it, a preview appears asking if you want to open it as the mobile version. It would be nice if the PWA automatically detected the mobile version so you didn’t have to click on it every time.

Hi, great script! I’m trying the demo, but there’s a small problem with deleting my account. I created it by logging in with Google, and I can’t delete it because I need my password. Of course, when logging in with Google, you’re not asked for your password to create a profile.
Thank you. We skipped password setup on sginup process to let user onboard faster without boring actions.
Since we have password reset feature, it’s abs normal and many modern web platforms do the same.

Yes, it’s a great system. However, if I want to delete my account, I’m asked for my password to confirm the deletion, which I can’t do since I’m registered with Google. Give it a try
I undestand your point. We will allow user to add their password once they complete signup.
There will be initial password set and reminder for users that did not set password yet.

I notice in Users Account/Privacy settings there is no option to hide their Gender, this needs to be added, users should be able to not disclose this publicly is they wish to choose so, also maybe for legal reasons in some countries as well?
You gotta fix the SEO issue! I’ve told you this so many times—you won’t sell a thing if you don’t! This isn’t about passion; you’re here to sell products. You need to adjust your offerings based on the market. If you’re just doing this for passion, then don’t bother selling at all!

Hi Mansur, just a question really as not much seems to appear in the right sidebar. I have some new sign-ups and and some test accounts that I have created, and even though I’m not following them they don’t apppear as “Who to follow” in my account but they do seem to in some test accounts but not all of them, and similary, if I go to Explore >> People no-one appears, am I missing something here?
Admin seems very basic..I don’t see much options in general settings.
