Is it possible to access backend folders to check and download files?

It is, but file and folder structure will not match the one that is visible in BeDrive by default.
Some files show “Upload failed,” and I am unable to upload them, but other files with the same file format are being uploaded successfully.

Office files can be previewed in BeDrive, if this is what you mean. Regarding download button, you can disable it when creating a shareable link.

Can you tell me, please, how the content from the landing page, the section after, is filled in another language, when the website language is changed to another language, also the content of that landing page to automatically change to the language entered ? As now if I edit the language during my current selection in localization for example spanish , the landing page either is in spanish or english selection has the same text language. Thank you!

You can translate the landing page from “admin > translations” page (click “add new translation” button), then landing page will appear in whichever language user has selected.

The content of the landing page I enter is in english and when I change the language on the landing page it is still in english. Also if I write the content in another language and when I change to that language on the landing page the content will not change. When i say content this is the text i enter in the section of the landing page : hero split with screenshot, features grid, feature with screenshot…and the rest
Sorry about that, there is an issue indeed with landing page translations. This will be fixed with next update.

This should be fixed now. Update to latest version from “admin > settings > system > update” page (If it’s not showing latest version yet, click “re-install current version” button instead)
Hello! The content of the landing still cannot be translated in other language , only the login or register button. But the hero sections, after I change the localization and default language in the settings of bedrive, and I also change my admin account language to the one I installed, and enter the landing page I still cannot translate the english language from the hero section or any content of the landing page to other language.So when a user chooses the language from the landing page, it will only see the default english language. I updated the app and it is still the same. Please tell me how to change the language or translate the sections from the landing page? What are the steps, I think there is a problem. Thank you!
I can’t see any issues with translations for landing page. When adding translations to “admin > translations” page, make sure you copy the text from input fields in landing page editor in admin area and not from the landing page itself, otherwise you might miss spaces or line breaks and translation keys will not match.
I can’t find in the bedrive menu of admin – translation menu, only localization where I entered the languages. Where exactly I should translate ( insert the translated text ) in the content of the landing poge – on the sections. Can I upload some pictures or video to show you better?

I have a question re upload and download.
When a client uploads a large file, say 500mb, does it upload to our own server and then upload the same file to backblaze? Or does it never hit our own server and uploads directly to backblaze?

When connecting bacbklaze from settings page in admin area, you can select “direct upload” option, then it will upload directly from browser to backblaze, without touching the server.
great thanks. Also, is there a way to run a video proxy? What i mean is lets say we upload a 600mb video, the user can preview it but can we have it so the preview is a 30mb version of the video we have uploaded and when they download it it downloads the full 600mb version?
There’s no built-in option for this currently.

On the new update CDN is not working for S3 uploads of BeDrive uploads.
On the new script. BeDrive uploads for S3 are not saving in the uploads folder. Specifying a folder does not change this behavior..

According to the official Dropbox developer announcements and documentation, there were no new Core Dropbox API changes in 2025 – the last official API updates are: – “API updates to better support team spaces” (Nov 10, 2023) – “Dropbox API server root certificate changes coming in 2026” (Jun 26, 2024). Could you please provide a link to the exact Dropbox API changelog or announcement (with date) that forced you to remove Dropbox support from BeDrive?

We were using an undocumented feature of dropbox previously to get direct links to files uploaded to dropbox (for example for image thumbnails and downloads), but this is restricted now so to show image preview we would need to download the image locally to the server first.
