I found an issue with the seller shipping system
When vendors set up their shipping rules, they are only able to define shipping from state to state, and cannot select more specific locations such as city or any closer range. This causes a problem because many sellers need to offer domestic, city-level, or local delivery options, but the current interface restricts them to broad state-to-state zones only.
As a result, sellers cannot:
Set domestic shipping for their own city
Offer a cheaper rate for deliveries inside the same city
Separate local delivery from statewide delivery
Only state → state rules are possible, which is very limiting for marketplaces.
Could you please check this and confirm if you plan to add city-level shipping zones or a more flexible domestic shipping configuration for sellers?

In the current system, locations are stored in the database. Since there is a very large amount of data under a state (cities and smaller locations), adding all of them to the database is very difficult. Because Google Maps is a paid service, we haven’t added it so far, but if we include it in the future or find a better alternative, we can also enable selecting more detailed locations for shipping.

On the product detail page, there is an image display area with a 1:1 ratio. If your image has equal width and height, it will fit perfectly into this area and display without any issues. However, if your image’s width and height are different, there may be empty spaces at the top or sides to preserve the image’s aspect ratio. In other words, this depends entirely on the image you upload. On the product detail page, images are displayed as they are, without cropping and without altering their aspect ratio.

But I tried to check the CVS for bulk custom field addition, and I see the category option is available, but not available if you want to add custom fields one by one.

The category selection option is on the second page. After filling in the information on the ’’Add Custom Field’’ page, click the ’’Save and Continue’’ button to proceed to the ’’Custom Field Options’’ page, where you can enter the options for that custom field and select the categories. You cannot access this page on the demo site, but you can edit one of the existing custom fields to open the options page and review this section.

I’m interested in your excellent script. I just have a few questions regarding its “Classified Ad” mode:
1) How can we offer a pricing plan with a free trial period in the beginning and then automatically followed by a paid period? For example, I want to offer a plan that has a free 7-day trial period followed by a $20/month paid period. The customer would be charged only when the paid period starts, unless they cancel beforehand.
2) On the product listings page, we see there are 5 listings per row with a very few fields shown in each listing. How can I make it show only 1 listing per row, and add more fields shown in the listings?
3) I see that we can use the Location field to narrow the selection to the city level. How can visitors search “all” locations at once? Shouldn’t there be “All Countries”, “All States” and “All Cities” options by default?
4) How can I change the labels “Category”, “Brand” and “Location” to different names such as “Product Type”, “Business Type” and “City” respectively?
5) Can we force visitors to sign up first (for free) and provide certain info such as their name, company name and business type (custom field) before they can contact any listing owners or provide a rating or a review?
6) Can visitors contact a listing owner via both a private chat and email (without the listing owner displaying their email address) directly on the site?
7) Can we hide a certain field (default or custom) from a non-logged-in visitor until they log in?

1) This feature is not available at the moment. As mentioned in our previous reply, it may be added in the future. We think it could be a useful feature.
2) You can currently display 5 or 6 products per row. Showing only one product wouldn’t be ideal, because you wouldn’t be able to change the aspect ratio of the product image, which means the image would have to be very large, and that wouldn’t look good. However, if you still prefer that layout, you can modify the code and adjust it to your needs.
3) If no location is selected, then all locations are considered active, and products from every location will be shown. In other words, not selecting any location already fulfills this requirement.
4) All texts in the script can be changed from the “Edit Translations” section under the Language Settings in the Admin Panel. None of the texts are static (except for a few texts that come from certain JavaScript libraries), and they can all be modified through the Admin Panel.
5) You can require users to log in to view vendor contact information by selecting “No” for the “Show Vendor Contact Information to Guests” option in the Preferences section of the Admin Panel. Only registered users can add a rating.
6) Our script already includes a Chat feature. It is better to prioritize using this for contact, but if customers prefer, they can still contact sellers privately. However, as an admin, you can hide the sellers’ contact information if you want. To do this, simply set “Show Vendor Contact Information on the Site” to “No”.
7) This option is not available.
8.) From the Custom Fields section in the Admin Panel, you can select any category and create new input fields of different types for that specific category. For example, if you are using it for Real Estate, you can add fields such as Number of Rooms, Floor, etc. These details will be added to the product adding form and then be displayed on the product details page either in the Additional Information section or right below the product price, depending on your preference.
9) No, but they can report the review to the site management. Our script has abuse report system for products, sellers, reviews and comments.
10) Unfortunately, this option is not available. However, our script has a very strong search functionality. Even with over 1+ million products, it can deliver search results very quickly and rank them based on relevance.

2. There is no option in the admin panel to change the layout as in your example. To do this, you need to modify the code.
3. There is a “Reset” button. After selecting a location, this button will appear right next to it.
4. Yes, the chat is private. Other users or visitors cannot see the messages. However, the admin can view them in the ’’Chat Messages’’ section of the admin panel. You can open the ’’Messages’’ page from the user drop down menu to view the recent chats. To start a new chat, you can click the ’’Ask Question’’ button on a product details page or a vendor profile to send a message.
Each user has ’’Show my email address’’ and ’’Show my phone number’’ options in their profile settings. Vendors can also manage these settings from their profile to hide their email address and phone number.
8. Yes, you would need to modify the code to make design changes. There is no option in the admin panel to make these changes.
9. Sellers cannot reply to reviews. They can only report a review, and the site management will decide whether it should be removed. You may want to create clear review guidelines and publish them on your site. Instead of judging who is right, you can simply check whether the review violates the platform rules. For example: insults, harassment, irrelevant content, or spam. There are options to disable reviews and comments. You can find these settings in the ’’Preferences > Products’’ section of the admin panel.
Yes, the listing owner can reply to comments. As the admin, you can also enable the comment approval option to review comments before approving them.

There are problems with license keys! Function actions! 1. When buying a second key from the same profile and downloading it, it appears the same license key that I bought the first time! 2. When editing the record, it shows that two keys have been used! 3. Two notifications come to the E-mail, each with a different tax, although one item was purchased! 4. When buying a license key, no notification appears that the license key has been purchased and it is not said where to find it! This was done on test devices!
Hello, we tested this by purchasing 2 license products from the same seller, as you described. The system generated two different license codes. So we are not seeing the issue you mentioned.
If you are the seller, please check the license keys you added. Make sure you didn’t enter the same license key twice, and ensure that you selected “No” for the “Allow Duplicate License Keys” option. If you select “Yes” for this option, the system will allow the same license key to be given to multiple customers. If “No” is selected, the system will not assign a used license key to another customer.
Please review these details again. If you believe everything is correct and the issue is still happening, you can send more information through the “Bug Reports” section on our helpdesk. We can investigate this issue further before the next update.

So…I tried to buy it myself before, everything is ok, yes it shows that the corresponding keys have been used! When you disable digital sales in the administration panel or vice versa, if you are in ad mode, it shows for sale, and there is no sales history in the profile, so you can’t visit this section! If you want to find a deal, you have to turn on the market function! But what about the duplicate e-mails that come, different payment reports!
This is normal, because if you have sold a digital product to one of your clients, you must keep that system enabled so your users can continue to access their purchased products. Basically, you should decide on the structure of your site in advance and allow products to be added according to the systems you plan to use. Otherwise, separating the features of different systems would become impossible, which would prevent the system from functioning properly.
Our script collects outgoing emails in a queue and removes them from the list as they are sent, which helps prevent duplicate emails. It’s possible that this was caused by a temporary system issue or by similar license keys being used. If this happens again, please let us know.

For example, you can add a ’’Radio Buttons’’ option and name it something like ’’Do you want us to install it?’’ with ’’Yes’’ and ’’No’’ choices. If the customer selects ’’Yes’’, the additional installation cost can be added by assigning a separate price to this option. If you do not plan to charge extra for installation, you may also use the ’’Text Input’’ product option, allowing the customer to enter a note when placing the order.

Hello, we understand this request, but, we do not plan to add built-in shipping API integrations. If we add an integration for one country, we would then need to build and maintain different APIs for every country we support, which is not a sustainable approach.
Instead, we provide a dedicated field where sellers can enter their shipment tracking URL and code. When a seller marks a product as “shipped”, they can fill in this information, and customers will be able to view and track their shipment directly from the order details page.

This option can be useful for websites that don’t have a chat system, but our script already includes a fully functional chat system. Therefore, we do not plan to add this option. However, if you believe it would be useful for your own site, you can implement it on your end.
On the product details page, when a visitor clicks the ’’Ask Question’’ button, the vendor’s email and phone number will be displayed. The phone number is initially hidden, and visitors need to click the ’’Show’’ button to view it. You can review these features on our demo site.

How can I integrate the website with the live invoicing system that already provides API integration documentation?

We are not fully aware of the exact type of API connection you want to implement. However, in any case, such an integration requires writing your own custom code to connect the script with the API and process the data accordingly.
When the user or admin clicks the “Invoice” button, the system creates an invoice for the order and insert it into the “invoices” table. If you prefer not to use this table, you can also retrieve all order details from the “orders” and “order_items” tables.
Please note that custom integrations like this are not included in product support. Therefore, if you are not familiar with editing the codes, we recommend working with a developer.

I gave this script five stars and a rave review, back when I first purchased it, in 2018. It’s still the very best of it’s kind on all of Envato, IMO. I have never placed anything on the ‘wish’ list as in something I would like to see, in a future update, however, there’s a first time for everything.
Please consider adding the ability for sellers to add their own custom categories in their “shops.” I mean, I also feel their should be a limit to the number of categories they can add, however, it would serve to help them (the sellers) to organize their products and for potential customers to browse through them.

In the current system, categories are displayed on the seller’s profile page and visitors can click these categories to filter the products. Only the categories in which the seller has products are shown on each seller’s profile page. In other words, not all categories on the site are displayed. Even if sellers were given the option to add their own categories, the visible category structure would still look similar, so it would not make much difference. If you are referring to a different feature, please provide more details so we can understand your idea better.

First of all, I want to congratulate you on your script/system. It is one of the best I have tested so far. However, during my tests I identified a few points I would like to report as constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement:
Final price not showing with VAT included Currently, the system displays product prices without VAT and only adds the tax at checkout. For the end user, it would be more intuitive and transparent if the displayed price already included VAT from the beginning, avoiding unexpected changes at the final step.
Commission configuration by category It would be very helpful to have the option to set commissions per product category instead of having only a global commission. This would allow more flexible management for different types of products and suppliers.
Shipping cost calculation with multiple suppliers When a customer adds products from different suppliers, the system correctly adds the shipping cost for each one. The issue happens when the customer removes all products from one of the suppliers:
Even after removing all items from a supplier, that supplier’s shipping cost is still being charged.
In other words, the system keeps charging double shipping (the current supplier + the supplier whose products were removed). This appears to be a bug in the recalculation of shipping costs after updating the cart.
Payment methods icons I could not find where to change or add the accepted payment method icons. I would like to know where this configuration can be updated (or, if not yet available, I would like to suggest adding this feature).

The reason for this is that the VAT rate can vary depending on the customer’s location. Sellers can add a fixed VAT per product or apply a general VAT rate based on the location. If a location-based VAT rate is set, it is impossible for the customer to know the VAT before entering their shipping address in the cart. Therefore, VAT is calculated and displayed in the cart after the customer provides their location.
Our script already supports commission settings at the global, category, seller, and product level. You can define different commissions for any categories you want, not just the top-level categories. If no commission is set for a product’s category, the system will refer to the commission rate of a parent category. However, if a commission has already been defined for a subcategory, that rate will be applied to the product.
There seems to be a slight display issue here. When you remove a product from the cart and go to the shipping page, you may still see the previous shipping cost. This is because the new calculation hasn’t been triggered yet for the updated products. This is only a display issue. The current system recalculates the shipping cost each time you proceed through the shipping section, so it won’t cause any actual problems for now. We will include this in our next update to fully resolve it.

I really want to ask a question concerning price management, we all know prices of goods are not stable, for someone who plans to use it as a single store owner who manage hundreds of products on the catalogue, is there an easy way to change prices of goods when there is a change or someone have to go through all products each to update the price? Probably increase price a group of products by percentage or by amount, anything to make price management easy for all products. Does this great script have anything like that?
Hello, our script is versatile and supports different product types, so increasing all prices by a percentage is often not the ideal solution for many setups. Considering this, in our previous updates we added a bulk product edit feature to the bulk product upload section. With this feature, if you don’t want to update each product manually, you can simply upload a CSV file containing only the product IDs and their updated prices, and all changes will be applied in one process. This makes price management much faster and easier, especially for large catalogs. Thank you.
Hello, in the upcoming updates I see that you plan to add a theme for the bulletin board format. That’s excellent, but it would be better if there were an option to shorten the announcement card. For users who will be selling unwanted items in this format, it will often be inconvenient to fill in a short description and a tag, since most users will not understand what is being asked of them. We are planning to add a classified ads theme. Depending on the selected theme, some changes may appear in the product add/edit sections. However, since this theme is intended solely for classified ads, it will not affect the product creation process for marketplace listings. When the classified ads theme is selected, the marketplace-related input fields can be removed from the add product form. We do not plan to add a bulletin board format.

There is no setting in the admin panel to disable Google Maps on the product details or contact pages. We normally do not assist with custom modifications, but since we have shared this information before in the comments section, we will provide it again. To remove Google Maps, you can delete the iframe code (<iframe … ></iframe>) from the “app/Views/product/details/product.php” and “app/Views/contact.php” files.

Also, is it possible to offer a trial price to a plan in the one-time payment (and the future recurring payment)? For example, I’d like to offer a pricing plan with the first 30 days being a free trial followed by regular $20 a month.
We are currently working on our other script (Varient). We also plan to add a premium membership feature to that script. Since it will include a similar recurring billing feature, we expect to add the same functionality to Modesy in a future update as well. There is no specific timeline at the moment, but once we finish the update for our other product, we will continue working on Modesy.
For now, this feature is not available. However, once we implement the recurring billing system, we will be able to add options like this in the future.

Yes, we agree with this. To solve this issue, we have recently developed a new category selection dropdown. With this solution, the entire category tree will appear inside a single dropdown, allowing users to quickly select a category or directly search for one. We will include this feature in the next major update.
On mobile devices, this issue is usually caused by input fields having a small font size. Setting the font size to 16px for mobile devices generally resolves the problem. We haven’t made this change so far because 16px can look a bit large, but if the current input fields are making usage difficult, we will consider adjusting this in the next update.

Every user and vendor has their own profile page, which includes the ’’Follower’’ and ’’Following’’ tabs. By using the ’’Follow’’ button, users can follow their favorite sellers. The features you mentioned are not currently available. However, the users will have a list of their favorite vendors, and from the vendor’s perspective, having a large number of followers may create a positive impression for potential customers.

Yes, we have also been wanting to add the auction system for a long time, but we haven’t been able to implement it yet. Hopefully, we can include that as well in a future update. We are not yet certain about implementing phone verification, as it requires an additional API.
