To quote @ddomsen post “When you click “Explore” on a desktop or the magnifying glass icon in the navigation bar on a mobile device, the “Explore” tab opens. There’s also a “People” tab. It would be better if the default tab were “People” instead of “Explore,” since the search function is used much more frequently than the Explore function.”, I would prefer a global search bar at the top visible at all times, what do you think?

I agree

Thanks.

Hi Mansur, I don’t know what your priorities are for the next update but we definitely need to be able to edit, ban, delete etc. users in AdminCp?

Hello, Mark. I agree with you. We are already working on it.

Thanks.

Is that possible?

Are you planning to change this anyway?

Yes, you are right. It will be fixed.

Oh great :-)

Another quick question! I checked the demo and the work is truly amazing. However, I couldn’t find an option to disable all reactions on posts. I’d love to keep only a few selected emoji reactions instead of the full emoji bar.

Keep up the great work — I’m really loving what you’ve built so far!

Plus when I go to marketplace link via mobile I am getting Page not found! Sorry, this page is not available. You may have used an invalid link or the page has been removed.

Emojis controls will be in the future, but currently there is no option to disable some of them.

Marketplace is not available on mobile web app, but will be on native apps.

Since we keep mobile WEP apps lightweight as much as we can, since there will be real native apps released soon, so mobile web apps will stay for readers and there will be some limits on features.

Hello!

I have few questions, 1) Do you offer user migration from Sngine to colibrism? 2) Do you ( or do you have plans ) for other themes ? 3) Do you have mobile applications to publish on applestore for example ?

Last question, do you support Groups and single audio / video calls ? Thanks!

+ Do you have plans for reels and option to add only one like on posts like instagram ?

Hello. Currently we don’t have ready script to make migration from sngine to colibri, but if you want we can develop it for agreed cost.

ColibriPlus themes work bit different, but they also can be developed if you request.

We have web mobile apps that can be published on play store and App Store.

If you need reels, we can add such feature on your setup.

Mansur , how do approve jobs how do we approve business account

Can’t understand your question. What exactly are you trying to do?

If I place the link of a post from my site into X it shows the link only no summary card

I understand now. You mean links preview, we are working on it.

This feature will come in the near future with updates.

There’s an error. You can’t access the commenter’s page from the comments list on mobile.

Can you also add bots for activity? You assign tasks to the bots, and they’ll be actively working on the site.

Profile links temporarily disabled on mobile comments.

Yes, you can create and kind of bots and power them by ai

You are welcome.

Thank you, MTerla, for all your hard work so far. I’ve put together the following wishes and ideas. I personally feel that some of the features from the previous ColibriSM version should really come back to ColibriPLUS — such as #tags, topic labels, retweet, and so on. Basic feature experience really matters: things like Premium subscription with a verification badge, special nickname colors for members, the ability to upload animated GIF avatars, avatar frames, and other commercial features.

For example, the verification system could even introduce ideas like gold badges for business accounts, and gray badges for government accounts.

And… I know I’ve mentioned this many times, but I still hope Retweet can return to PLUS, because it’s genuinely important.

About the current experience in PLUS 2.0, here’s what I’ve noticed:

1. When publishing a post, if you type the text first and then upload an image, the text gets cleared. This didn’t happen in the SM version. I really hope this can be fixed in the next update so the typed text won’t get erased after adding images.

2. When composing a post, typing @user should automatically highlight, so users know the mention is active.

3. In the mobile PWA version, it would be great if the posting interface also showed the user’s avatar and name on the right side while typing.

4. Since content can be reposted, maybe consider allowing posts to be forwarded into PLUS DMs or groups as well.

5. In the admin panel, it would be helpful to configure image and video compression percentages, instead of having a forced unified compression. Also, options to enable or disable official watermarks — and ideally, let users add their own watermark settings too, like official logo + username.

6. For the voting feature, it would be great to add a vote deadline, and automatically stop the poll at the set time, then display the results.

7.When making a post, users should be able to set visibility for each individual post:

1). Public by default

2). Mutual followers only

3). Only myself

4). Custom: hide from selected users

8. On mobile, the profile editing page should also support profile cover display. I think this is essential — almost everyone uses their phone to post and update daily life now.

9. After uploading an avatar or cover, users should be able to crop freely and adjust the size before confirming.

10. In browsers like Edge, when creating a PWA shortcut on mobile, the bottom area looks a bit off — some parts appear incomplete or covered, even though everything looks fine on the web version.

In the PWA, typing text often gets blocked by the input area, and the field doesn’t move up automatically, so it’s hard to see what you’re typing. It would be much better if the input box automatically shifted upward when typing. (On the web version it works fine… not sure why PWA doesn’t.)

In the PWA, there are small interaction issues that make it feel stiff. For example, when opening a DM, the messages appear first, then freeze for a moment, and after that the UI updates again — the flicker feels very disconnected. It would be smoother if everything loaded together.

Thank you, MTerla, for all the amazing work you’ve done. Without the Colibri project, building my own social network simply wouldn’t have been possible. I sincerely hope you might consider — or even adopt — some of these suggestions. I want to express my respect for what you’ve created. You really are a hero to me.

Thank you very much. Everything, we will be improved step by step. Project is designed for long time support and for high performance.

I notice that when you paste in a link to another site and the info auto populates, if you click the content it opens up in a new window but if you click the original pasted link it opens up in the same window thus taking users from my site (see screenshot). Can we have it so that any external links open in a new window (target_blank) so users are not taken away from our website please?

Yes, exactly.

Thanks!

In the last few days I have seen that the Admin Panel was public in the demo. I particularly looked at the “users” section. What is important for such a project is the focus of the customer, i.e. the “user”.

Therefore, special settings and options must be created for the admin to manage a user accordingly.

What about the points listed above, which are planned and which will never be a topic at all, and which will be released in the next update?

1. Blocking a user account. The user must receive a notification that his account has been blocked. Here you have to pay attention to certain regulations and laws of a country, in some countries an “appeal” must be offered for a platform so that the user can have his account re-checked if he has been blocked.

2. Complete user management: Restricting a user, e.g. for publishing posts, comments, likes, etc.

3. Restoring a hacked user account. It is becoming more and more common for users to be hacked. It is all the more important for the admin of such a project to give the user the opportunity to get back into his account. In other words, restoring the account to a date or similar, which then deletes posts after that date or possibly restores changes to the email, username, name, telephone number to the user’s original settings.

4. If a user decides to delete their account – the account is currently deleted immediately. This is not possible in various countries for data protection reasons or is not allowed to happen. Instead, it would be good if the account is deleted after 30 days when deleted and the deletion can be cancelled at any time within this time by logging in again and a message is received that it will be reactivated.

5. Tracking changes to each user account of email, username, name, 2fa etc.

6. A username should always be reserved for a user. In other words, if a user has had the username “Testuser” for 2 months, it remains reserved for 14 days. This means that if the “Testuser” changes their username to “Testaccount,” they can return at any time within the 14 days. Only after that will it be available to others.

I think all features you mentioned will be in future updates. But blocking user will 100% be in the next one.

I just noticed users nor admin can edit posts?

And comments as well?

Yes

Thumbs up! :)

what about the next update in this year or next?

ColibriPlus is already on production stage, you can purchase and use. Updates will be in this year and next year

I notice in the footer of the left sidebar in AdminCP it says Version #1.0.0 however in your changelog it says ColibriPlus 2.0.0, is this right?

Current version is 2.0.0, the number shows wrong info, It’s fixed in the new update

Thanks! :)

You are welcome

Hello. Is there a parser?

Hello. What parser do you mean?

Articles, news, jobs.

Yes, It has Articles, news, jobs.

The add media/image, file and voice recording do not work in messages/chat on your demo as well as my site. Please see screenshot.

And please Mansur, I am still waiting for you to have a look at my site after you installed it about audio files not processing?

Audio processing was fixed, since there was a file permission issue. Other features you mean on messenger, they will be enabled in the next update.

Thank you for your promt attention Mansur! :)

You are welcome.

Hello,

Where is the mobile apps? Do I need to build my own webview app?

I too do not find any api related docs. Also my resources/lang is missing. Getting WS error eventhough everything is built correct. May be the author missed certain files and folders in the package. If so pls update the package. Everyone can’t buy the Installation service.

Okay, I have sent my env file to you in Whatsapp. Kindly look if it is correct. I will proceed with build after you say its good to go.

Just to clarify, we don’t review configuration or project files through support, especially sensitive files like .env.

For installation help, please refer to our documentation, or if you prefer, you can use our official installation service where everything is handled securely.

First, let me clarify several important points, because much of what you wrote is based on assumptions that do not reflect reality.

What CodeCanyon item support actually includes Support on CodeCanyon does not cover server configuration, debugging your environment, fixing hosting-side problems, installing the script for you, or reviewing server files/logs to detect issues in your infrastructure.

It only includes: 1. Help with item-related bugs 2. Help with item-related questions 3. Assistance with features that are included 4. Guidance on how the product works This is the official Envato policy, not something I invented.

Why these types of web applications differ from simple “scripts” and why installation costs what it costs Applications built on modern stacks (Laravel, Vue, NPM ecosystem, queues, caching, node toolchain, etc.) are not plug-and-play scripts that you just drop into a root folder like WordPress. They require:

1. A properly configured server 2. Correct PHP extensions 3. Node/NPM build tools 4. Queue workers and scheduled tasks 5. Storage configuration

This is normal for full-stack applications, and installation pricing reflects the time and knowledge required. This is not “escaping” anything — this is how modern web apps work. Your criticism ignores these technical realities.

About “missing files” There is not a single missing product file in the CodeCanyon package. The only file you mentioned — the Docker configuration — is not part of the product at all. We simply provided it informally because some developers are curious about our internal setup. It is not required, not advertised, and not part of the script delivery.

Yes, installation can be difficult — and we don’t blame you for that We fully understand that this is not an easy “upload and run” type of script. Our stack requires a specific environment, and that is why installation takes time and effort. This does not mean the product is faulty — it simply follows modern development standards that differ from legacy “zip-and-run” scripts. Again, there is nothing unusual here.

The file you sent tells nothing about your actual server Sending one random file in a message does not show your server state, your PHP configurations, permissions, storage setup, queue workers, environment variables, or deployment pipeline. We cannot responsibly say “everything is OK” based on a single file that contains almost no server context. Support simply does not work like that — and it is not included in CodeCanyon support policy.

Now, regarding your claims

You did not install the application properly, which is the source of the errors you saw. Debugger output does not indicate missing files — it indicates an incomplete environment configuration.

You received exactly the same package that every other customer receives from CodeCanyon.

Price adjustments on CodeCanyon happen for various reasons — traffic, seasonal sales, statistics, A/B testing. Accusing someone of “lying” simply because you didn’t like the timing is unreasonable.

Installation service is optional, and many customers install the product themselves without issues. Suggesting that we intentionally break files to “force” you to buy installation is not only false but disrespectful.

Again — what does the 6-months support mean? Exactly what Envato defines:

✔ Item updates ✔ Fixes for item-related bugs ✔ Documentation-related explanations ✔ Help understanding how the item works

Not included (per Envato rules): ✘ Installing the script for you ✘ Fixing your server configuration ✘ Debugging your hosting environment ✘ Requesting server credentials or full access ✘ Custom work or modifications

This is standard for all items, and every author follows the same policy.

Finally, you are free to use any other product you prefer. But comparing a completely different type of software and accusing the author of “locking you in” simply because modern web stacks require more than drag-and-drop installation is misleading to others and unfair.

I always communicate respectfully — and I expect the same from buyers.

We are here to help within the scope of the support policy, but we cannot take responsibility for misconfigured servers or unrealistic expectations.

Hi everyone who has bought this, please share your experiences if you have installed it yourself. Could be of help to many.

docker-compose.yml file was not there in the package. The author sent it to me after I asked him.

How many are running this in production? Please send links.

@Mterla,

I am reaching out regarding my purchase of the ColibriPlus script. I bought the script some time ago, but this is my first attempt installing the latest updated version. During installation, I noticed that the resources/lang folder is missing, including the .lang and .json translation files. Because of this, the interface is displaying raw translation keys such as labels.xxx and empty_state.xxx. I have been trying to get assistance since yesterday but have not received any response. I would appreciate your help in providing the complete resources/lang directory or guidance on how to obtain the correct files so I can finish my installation properly.

Thank you.

Who else is having a hard time getting these guys to provide missing files?

Hi! The resources/lang folder isn’t supposed to be in resources — it’s located in the root directory, so nothing is missing from your package.

Also, this issue isn’t related to language files at all. It happens when Sanctum Stateful Domains are not set correctly in your .env file. Please make sure to add your domain to SANCTUM_STATEFUL_DOMAINS, and the interface will load normally.
