Hello Is it possible to have the product in kg, for example, and when I check the stock, see how many kg I have left? I need this to sell the meat. Thank you.
In fact, I also wanted to know if it is possible to have merchandise receipts, for example, to record merchandise receipts whenever new merchandise arrives.
1. Hi! Yes, you can manage products in kg. If you add your stock as kilograms (e.g., 50 kg), ClanVent will show how many kg are left after each sale.
2. Yes, you can record new merchandise receipts. Whenever new stock arrives, you can add it through the stock-in/receive option, and it will update your inventory automatically.
Yes, but in the invoice, when I create an invoice, it doesn’t capture the kg.
And can you tell me how I can add “record new merchandise receipts”? I can’t find it.
Currently, the invoice does not show the weight unit (kg), but no worries — we can add this for you. In our system, this is done through Purchase Receive. You first create a purchase, and then use the Receive option to record the incoming merchandise and update the stock
Is there an option to add custom fields from other plugins and ACF?
Thank you for your interest! Currently, the addon doesn’t support adding custom fields from other plugins or ACF directly. However, we’re planning to introduce extended field mapping and custom field support in future updates.
If you have specific ACF fields or use cases in mind, please share them — we’ll consider including them in the upcoming version.
We are using almost all types of ACF fields, as well as custom taxonomies. It’s an interesting solution you have since most of B2B solutions like this cost few K and making customizations requires the owners to do them on their end + it costs a lot for very small changes and takes months to implement. But most important part in this type of apps is ability to add fields as needed and having API for other apps like invoicing software or secondary stock managers that are in fulfillment centers.
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback and thoughtful insight! You’ve raised some excellent points — especially about flexibility with ACF fields, custom taxonomies, and API integrations for external systems.
We completely agree that scalability and customization are key for B2B users. We’re already planning to expand support for dynamic custom fields and API endpoints in upcoming updates to make integrations like invoicing and fulfillment systems much easier.
Your suggestions are truly valuable, and we’ll keep them in mind as we enhance the addon further. Thanks again for sharing your experience and ideas!
