Yes, you can show set menu items to be shown based on permission or role from menu manager in admin area.
After reinstall the app in another server, I can’t login because the google authentication codes doesn’t works anymore, and not even the recovery codes… Can support help in this case?

hi, do you have plans to make the script compatible with postgres instead of mysql? the script performance is trully bad when you have links with millions of views, it takes so much time to actually show the data, for eg loading the dashboard having 5 links each with 2 million views during the last 30 days, it takes about 10 seconds to show the 30 days analytics

There should not be any issues with a few million links or views in database. Are other pages loading slow as well or just the analytics/reports page?
Pre-sale question Currently, the URL is like (system.mydomain.com/customerName). Is it possible to have the URL to be like (system.mydomain.com/google/customerName) ?

Hi, well I do understand that, but its kinda difficult to explain this to the users…especially when your placeholder is “https://” you should make it impossible or auto-stripping or at least add note “Do not include https”

1: How complex is the setup for this? I am on the “hostinger” hosting platform. Does that work? Is it like WordPress? Click install, and you’re good to go?
2: How hard is it to update when new features or updates come out? One click or uninstall and reinstall?

4. I looked at the demo site, but could not see the edit billing page. How do you change this? Can I set it up with Stripe and crypto?

1. Yes, the installation is very similar to WordPress.
2. Currently you need to re-upload new version files, but we should have auto-update support with next version.
3. Can you clarify a bit on what you mean by brands?
4. If you mean pricing page, you can edit plans from “admin > plans” page, you can set up prices and the permissions/features for plans from there.

I work with clients in marketing, and I currently use the open source link stack, but I want to have my own self-hosted thing where I can charge them, and have unlimited brands (*Users) that I can use for my clients (so set them up their own account, then build them annually for the service LinkInBio feature)
This is already possible. Short link can be customized and users can connect custom domains as well.

I have a few questions and feature requests regarding your product:
Is there a way to bulk change all users’ subscriptions from the free plan to another plan? After launching the official version, I want to move beta users to the premium plan. If not, I assume I’ll need to manually change their plan.
Could you consider adding these features in a future update?
- Enable/disable custom domains per plan, with the ability to set a limit on how many domains can be connected.
- Discount code system for subscription purchases.
- Customization/translation of email templates directly from the admin panel (instead of editing code).
- Option to add custom fonts for Bio Link pages.
- Customizable Link Page URL, or generating random short links for it (currently non-Latin characters like Persian/Arabic create very long URLs).
- API usage limits based on daily/monthly requests.

There’s no built-in way to bulk change all subscriptions currently.
Regarding features:
1. You can already manage allowed custom domains for user/role/plan via permissions from admin area.
2, 6. This should be added with a future update.
3. If you only need to change text for email templates, it can be done from “admin > translations” page.
4. Font’s can already by changed from style section when creating or editing a biolink.
5. You can click “edit” button next to link url preview to enter a custom url.

1. Regarding fonts for Bio Link: what I meant is the ability for the admin to upload and add custom fonts (especially Persian and Arabic). The current fonts are not suitable for these languages.
2. Can I install the script in a subfolder such as /dashboard/ so that I can have a custom-designed homepage on the root domain, while the short links are still generated under my main domain? If not, is there any alternative way to customize the homepage and internal pages beyond the theme editor?
3. For custom domain connections: is there a way to allow users to connect domains and subdomains using only CNAME records? If not, is it possible to use a CNAME record instead of an A record for the main domain as well?

Ads do not show up from the placements I put, what permissions do I have to give each folder/file or what change do I need to make to the database to make ads show. I’m adding ads from Adsterra, but when I check the page the ads are supposed to be on. They don’t show up.

hello, this product isnt updated for a long time, i just tried it and has many issues. the workspace permissions dont even work, workspace owner/editor/admin cant even delete other people’s links, and workspace members cant delete their links either.
You have to explicitly give users link deletion permission in ‘user’ role or in the plan permissions so workspace owner/admin/editor can delete links which exposes a huge security risk. even tho they have link deletion permission in workspace role’s permission but its not taking any effect.
also other bugs such as when trying to delete links when listing them inside a link group it gives some api error.
im interested in buying but wanna know when are you going to release an update? thx.

There was an issue indeed with deletion while in workspace, this should be fixed now.
im trying to test it on the demo but i can no longer invite other members in a workspace, the memebers dont receive the invitation notification

permission still dont work as intended, workspace owner cant delete links of other users, and workspace memebers dont even see the delete button to delete any workspace resource no matter what permission thet get. please fix workspace related issues and please kindly let us know a realistic date of when the update will be released fixing all issues because you told us it will be released somewhere early this month. thank you.

What happens when you invite someone
If you have Plan B (say higher limits) and invite a user with Plan A (lower/free plan) into your workspace:
Inside your workspace, the workspace’s plan features apply.
The invited user can create/manage links, and those links count against your workspace’s limits (your branded domains, your monthly link quota, etc.).
They are not restricted by their own lower plan while working inside your workspace.
However:
If that same user switches to their own personal workspace, they’re still limited by their own plan.
So plan features are workspace-scoped, not user-scoped.
ExampleYou: Plan B (1,500 links/month, custom domain).
Your friend: Plan A (50 links/month, no custom domain).
You invite your friend to your workspace.
In your workspace: they can use Plan B limits (links count against your quota, they can use your custom domain etc).
In their own workspace: they’re still stuck with Plan A limits.
this is industry standard as used in many other websites such as bitly, it doesnt make sense to be limited by my own plan if im in another user’s workspace, please consider, thank you.

Hello! Quick questions 1. why can’t normal users retrieve their links using the api? Tried the api and a normal user gets a non authorized response when fetching for his links using his personal api token. 2. If an admin fetch links using his api token, he gets a response with all links created by all users on the website not just his own links, while a normal user’s token is still unauthorized 3. Why cant the api simply check for the token’s owner and respond with the links created by said user? And by the way not just fetching links, but normal users cant fetch for anything including personal custom domains etc, normal users can only use the api token to shorten links thats all. Thats a serious limitation for developers aiming to use the api token. Thanks.

3. It should work this way already. Perhaps “api.access” permission is not enabled for “users” role in admin area? This will prevent regular users from using API at all.
yes on demo website, if i try to shorten a url using normal user token it works, but when i try to list for example my links or link group i get a no permission response, please see photo attached https://ibb.co/YwqMP28
Also noticed when you delete links, their click stats still show up in the dashboard analytics, for example today total clicks were 100, and i delete a link that has 50 clicks, the dashboard still displays 100 clicks
i tried to give a user the (view links) permission in the demo but that resulted just like as if it’s an admin seeing links, the user can see all links created by all users on the website not just his, if you gonna fix this may i know please when you will release a patch? thanks.
There’s an issue currently with this API method where it will try to list all links by default if you don’t specify the ID of the user in the request, so if you don’t have permissions to view all links it will return an error.
It will be fixed with next update, but in the meantime you can specify the user for which you want to view links manually: “api/v1/link?userId=123”. (You can get the user it from “admin -> users” page, by editing a specific user.
Could you please make it so normal users can view their links and other properties simply using their api token?
