Hi,I couldn’t find anywhere a field to paste the activation key. Also, I couldn’t find any learning options it only repeats the generic answers written in the settings, but not anything that is actually on the website.

Hello! To activate the AI bot you need to select DeepSeek in the General>Bot features and then paste your API key into the AI tab, which will appear after saving the bot functions. On this same AI tab you will also find all the settings for the AI ​​bot, where you can select content sources and bot behavior.

Framework Compatibility: Does the chat widget support standard PHP/Laravel environments via a script injection, or is it strictly a WordPress plugin?

Setup Complexity: I’ve found many existing solutions to be over-engineered. How streamlined is the initial configuration for a production-ready deployment?

Lead Notification: Can the chatbot trigger automated email notifications to the site owner when a user expresses interest in a service or reaches a specific conversion point?

API Key Management: When deploying the chat across multiple domains, is a single DeepSeek API key sufficient, or does the architecture require unique keys per instance?

Multilingual Support: I require a language selector (English/French) at the start of the session. Will I need to provide dual-language datasets for the knowledge base, or does the system handle translation/localization dynamically?

Fallback & Knowledge Gap Handling: If the chatbot encounters a query it cannot answer, can it log/forward the question to the admin? I would like to use these “unanswered” queries to iteratively update the uploaded knowledge base files.

Framework Compatibility: the Dipsi plugin is developed for the WordPress CMS only and is not compatible with other platforms.

Setup Complexity: The installation of the plugin, as well as the AI bot, does not require any specialized technical knowledge. The setup process is straightforward and user-friendly. To connect the AI bot, you simply need to enter your DeepSeek AI API key into the corresponding field in the plugin settings.

Lead Notification: this feature is not supported by the plugin.

API Key Management: You can use the same DeepSeek API key across multiple domains if needed. However, please note that the Dipsi plugin license is valid for one end product/one live website only, in accordance with the Envato licensing terms. If you plan to use the plugin on multiple live websites, a separate license will be required for each.

Multilingual Support: the standard chatbot blocks, such as FAQ and contact information submission, do not support multilingual functionality and can be provided in one language only. However, the AI bot is capable of automatically responding to questions in the same language in which the question was asked.

Fallback & Knowledge Gap Handling: the AI bot is not able to forward unanswered questions or send notifications to the administrator when a relevant response is not found. However, in the bot behavior settings, you can define a custom fallback response for such cases. For example, the bot can provide an email address or another contact channel through which the user may submit a more detailed inquiry. Additionally, the bot can store conversation history with users. This data can be used to analyze user behavior and identify the types of information most frequently requested.

If a website contains a large number of posts, this limit would be exceeded, causing the AI bot to return an error message and preventing users from receiving any responses.

For this reason, we believe it’s better to manually select the specific content you want the bot to use when responding to your users.

The 401 Unauthorized error is an issue on the server/hosting side, most likely related to a misconfigured .htaccess file or server-level directory protection that is interfering with WordPress.

The error message you received, combined with the server information and your mention of a folder being “locked by the server itself via htaccess,” all point to an authentication rule that is either incorrect, conflicting with WordPress, or still active when it should be removed.

We do not impose any restrictions from the Dipsi plugin side.

Hi..Thank you very much.. it seems to be a problem with the cache .. as if it tried via http instead of https… we changed the version of php and in the error there is the same comment.. and port 80….and when we uninstall, after reinstalling all the settings are there again.. how to completely delete the plugin…. let’s try with a new installation.. thanks

Please select “Delete plugin, settings and data” in the Migration>Removal settings and delete the Dipsi plugin. After this, all plugin settings will be removed.
