Hi, i want release my purchase code from old website to another/my new website, because my old website not active anymore. How i can do that?
You should send purchase code to us at support@daftplug.com and we will do that for you
Hi, will you be doing any work on the menu and location to add to Home Screen for iOS26? The menus are totally different in iOS26, and the location to add to Home Screen has been hidden away in the share option.
Hi,
You mean the iOS 26 Safari or Chrome?
Oh understood what you mean. Yes, we will add them
Safari has added the address bar at the bottom, but you can change it back to the top, and they’ve changed the location of “Add to Home Screen.” Everything has gone liquid glass with the new UI.
ok thank you
We have just released an update that includes that fix.
My license no longer works…..
Hi,
Please send us your license code and website via email and we will check.
hi Can we develop? We are using the following source: https://themeforest.net/item/meup-marketplace-events-wordpress-theme/24770641/ We need to develop an app for ticket check-in (camera activation, barcode scanning, and database-side cancellation). Is this development possible? thanks.
Hi,
Yes, you can use Progressify to tun your QR code scanner into PWA so it will be an app without app store.
hi, So how is it done? I didn’t see anything in your demo and documentation about this section that we can do requested developments. I would appreciate your guidance. Because in addition to this template, I have several other systems that need to be developed in a series of dedicated sections on WordPress. And if your source meets our needs, we will purchase it. Thank you.
Progressify allows you to convert any kind of WordPress website or page into a directly installable mobile app. This means that any system or web application you build on WordPress — such as your scanner or other dedicated sections — can be packaged and installed just like a native mobile app.
You can also enhance it further with app-like features and capabilities, such as offline access, custom navigation, splash screens, push notifications, and more.
If your projects are based on WordPress, Progressify can serve as the perfect foundation to make them installable and feel like native mobile apps.
Thanks a lot indeed for your fast help. For unknown reasons the “fullscreen mode” of the web manifest does not work anymore. In detail the upper segment of the app is fading out correctly, the bottom part remains in white color. Would you please help? Thank you very much.
Question: As you can see, i have also purchased the “app submission to playstore and apples appstore”. Well, thank you very much for the apps and the advices, but for me it is very time consuming to do the rest. Would it be possible, that YOU submit my apps to the respective store? If yes: How much would this cost extra?
Looking forward to receive your ansers.
Truly … Tom
Thank you very much for your message and for your kind words!
Regarding the fullscreen mode — we’ll be happy to help you troubleshoot that. It sounds like the top browser UI is hiding correctly, but the bottom area remains visible in white; this is usually related to the safe area or theme color configuration in the manifest or meta settings. If you could share your website URL or a screenshot, we’ll review it and guide you on the correct fix.
As for your question about app submission: we unfortunately don’t provide publishing services ourselves. This is because we want our customers to remain 100% owners and official publishers of their apps in both the Play Store and App Store. However, we do provide detailed step-by-step documentation and guidance to make the submission process as smooth as possible.
I have had problems with Installation too, in Iphone devices the instructions seem to be not correct, and in Firefox and Opera the Install button doesnt work, you have to grab the widget manually from the installation pop up, and it doesnt feel like the app installed from Chrome, it looks more like a link. Maybe I have something not correctly configured, or some incompatibility. I tried other PWA plugins before, and I suspected that maybe the service worker was not right, but I’ve checked and it looks ok. When I tried to send this comment through the contact form of the plugin, it told me the purchase key was incorrect, but I dont see where to put the correct one… sorry
Thank you very much for your message and for sharing these details — we really appreciate your thorough feedback!
Regarding installation behavior:
On iPhone (Safari), installation is handled differently by iOS itself, and the process isn’t identical to Android or desktop browsers. You’ll need to use the “Add to Home Screen” option from Safari’s share menu — unfortunately, Apple doesn’t yet allow a direct install prompt like Chrome does.
On Firefox and Opera, support for Progressive Web App installation is limited or experimental, which is why the install button may not behave like in Chrome. The appearance as a link instead of a standalone app is also due to browser-specific limitations.
It sounds like your service worker is correctly set up, so your configuration is likely fine — it’s just a matter of browser support differences.
Hello, Am I going to receive the Android/iOS app package for free after I purchase Progressify (Instantify)? I just want to make sure that I won’t pay additionally for this once I get your product.
Hi,
The Android and iOS native app packages are optional add-on services. They require us to manually create and package your website into mobile apps, which is why there’s an additional fee. This feature is not required for the PWA itself.
Thank you.
Okay, so where we can see the price of all optional Add-ons?
That is available in the plugin. However here is the screenshot for you – https://prnt.sc/5UcBI8NU2sa8
Thank you! Please add this info for the add-on into your site, because from the description of the plugin I have the impression that Android/iOS app is for free.
Thank you for letting us know. We will include that in the description more explicitly.
All the best.
Hello, Could you please check your mailbox? I’ve sent you 2 emails, but still don’t have any response from you.
Hi Vilian,
We have answered you.
Thank you
Hi, Admin, If I buy this, can the PWA offline feature integrated with this wordpress theme https://themeforest.net/item/impreza-retina-responsive-wordpress-theme/6434280?srsltid=AfmBOoqI-1mVGHxMLjVcXLhHKsQwBPBWuTu87aLX0pwEJ3Pk8Tf4UmUZ ?
Regards
Hi,
Yes, PWA offline feature can be integrated with this theme, as well as with any other theme.
hello is there any way to run this on a lesser version of php? my host is telling me my server can’t go past 8.0 without upgrading |:
Hi,
Only reason PHP 8.2 is required is that Push Notifications feature needs at least that version. Technically you can remove this module and then you will be able to run it but this is not available out of the box and you will need custom, stripped version of Progressify.
I purchased the package to be published on Android and iOS. How long does that take?
Hello. You will receive your packages within one hour.
Thank you
please help me how to make these navigation icons bigger.
https://ibb.co/Y7SdxVSQHi,
They follow your website general font size, so increasing body or html font size will also increase general font size of all Progressify components.
Dear DaftPlug Team,
we purchased your plugin yesterday and installed it on our staging website. While we see great potential in your product, we have noticed a few issues we would like to report: Notifications – Clicking “Allow Notifications” causes the dialog to reappear in a loop without enabling notifications.
Progress Scroll Bar & Navigation Bar – On Safari, both load with significant delay and the navigation bar does not stay fixed at the bottom. On Chrome, loading is inconsistent. The delay is most noticeable when the PWA is installed, as the UI loads first and the bars appear 2–3 seconds later.
Custom App Icon – The icon set in the Web App Manifest works on Android but does not appear on iOS.
Smooth Transitions – Enabling this option in App Capabilities breaks BuddyBoss UI: widgets disappear and some icons are duplicated.
We have prepared screen recordings and screenshots to demonstrate these issues, but we would prefer not to share them in the public comment section. Could you please provide us with your support ticket system or a secure way to send them to you?
Thank you in advance for your assistance. We look forward to your reply.
Kind regards
Unfortunately, we find it very disappointing and unreliable when both support messages and comments here are ignored. From this point forward, we will stop using this plugin and will not be recommending it to our partners either.
Thank you very much for your detailed feedback and for sharing the screenshots and recordings — we truly appreciate the time you took to document everything so thoroughly.
We sincerely apologize for the delay in our response. We were reviewing all the issues you mentioned and working on fixes accordingly. Your input has been extremely helpful in identifying and improving several areas of the plugin.
As a quick update:
The loading delay issue with the progress and navigation bars has been addressed and will be included in our next update, which we’re releasing today.
The Smooth Transitions feature is currently in beta, and we’ve identified that it can cause UI conflicts with BuddyBoss. We’re now planning to rebuild this functionality using the View Transition API, which will make it more reliable and performant in future releases.
We highly value your support and feedback, and we hope the upcoming update will improve your experience with the plugin. Please don’t hesitate to reach out directly via our support form (or your preferred private channel), and we’ll make sure to assist you promptly moving forward.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
Hi, I have two questions: is there any chance to send notification only to specific users? Maybe with custom programming?
Also, the smooth transition option works great but i notice some delay loading the resources of the plugin the First time the app loads, it would be great maybe to add a preloader to be sure when the user starts using the app it feels smooth.
Thanks!!
Hi,
Yes, there is a way to send notification only to specific users. We save registered user ID during subscription of they are logged in, so you can target them programmatically and our automations are exactly using that.
Smooth page transitions is a beta feature and it’s still under development, so we will improve that from time to time.
Thank you
In the “web app Manifest”, I see that the “short name” for the app name is used when installing the PWA on an IOS mobile phone. Why that? IOS is able to manage longer names for the app that are installed “on the Home screen”, 12 chars is really too short…
Hi,
Unfortunately that’s completely up to Apple. Please send support request through the help center inside the plugin and grant us temporary access and we might be able to help you.
Thank you
Thanks! For other who may see this comment and have the same issue: the suggestion I’ve got from the support is to leave the “Short descrition” empty in the configuration, otherwise it seems like Apple is always choosing this one instead of the full one. In fact, now it is working as expected!
Hi, Thanks for your comment. We have already fixed this and will include in the next update.
Thank you again.
Why I can’t activate my plugin? I did all the required steps but it gives me “Activation failed” message I need help Thanks in advance
You are trying to use the already used license. Reach out to us and we will reset it for you
Hello Progressify team,
First of all, thank you for your excellent plugin
I have a question / feature request: At the moment, when I enable the bottom menu bar with icons, it appears both on the mobile website and inside the installed PWA / APK.
What I would really like is for this menu bar to only appear for users who install the app (PWA or APK), and not for regular mobile visitors of the website.
Is this currently possible through the plugin settings?
Or would it be possible to achieve this with some custom code (for example using CSS/JS conditionally, based on display-mode: standalone or WebView detection)?
Thanks a lot for your help, Best regards,
Hi,
We are glad that you like the plugin!
You can achieve it with this simple CSS:
body:not(.isPwa) pwa-navigation-tab-bar { display: none; }
This will only show the navigation tab bar component when user is using PWA.
Thank you
Thank you very much for your help and for the code I tested the solution and it works perfectly: the bottom navigation bar now only appears in the PWA as I wanted.
Great job on your reactivity and on the quality of your plugin
Best regards,
❤️
Hello,
Thank you again for your help with the bottom navigation bar, the solution with .isPwa works perfectly
I have one more question: Would it also be possible to apply the same logic to the notification bell icon, so that it only appears inside the PWA and not on the regular mobile website?
This would be great to encourage users to install the app in order to get notifications.
Thanks a lot for your support! Best regards,
Sure thing. Similarly:
body:not(.isPwa) pwa-push-notifications-button { display: none; }
A huge thank you for your reactivity and always clear answers. The solution for the notification bell works perfectly, you are truly top of the top
Just to be sure: we agree that users who only browse the mobile website do not receive notifications. Only those who install the PWA and enable notifications via the bell will get them, correct?
Congrats again on the quality of your support, it’s a real pleasure to have such an efficient team!
Best regards,
Thank you so much for your kind words!
To answer your question: yes, only users who browse your PWA and allow notifications will receive them on both Android and iOS devices.
We’d also be truly grateful if you could leave us a review on our Trustpilot page, as it helps us a lot: https://www.trustpilot.com/evaluate/daftplug.com
I already left a review on Trustpilot because it was really the least I could do to thank the Progressify team. It’s a great plugin, powerful and easy to use, with an outstanding support team – fast, clear, and always ready to help. Thank you again, you are truly the best
Hello,
Thank you for your great plugin
I have a question regarding the notification bell: currently there are two options → either it always stays visible (so users can enable/disable notifications), or it disappears after subscription (but then users cannot change their mind anymore).
Would it be possible to add an extra option to make notification management available somewhere else, for example on a dedicated “Settings” or “Notifications” page? This would allow users to unsubscribe or resubscribe at any time, even if the floating bell is hidden.
Thank you very much
I realize that technically users can manage their notifications in the browser settings or in the system settings of Android/iOS. But in practice, very few users ever find these options.
When the app is installed as a PWA or distributed as an APK via TWA, it looks and feels like a native app. End-users then expect to find a notification toggle inside the app itself, not hidden in the system settings.
That’s why it would be very useful to provide an option to add a notification management button or page directly within the app, so users can easily enable/disable notifications at any time.
Thanks again for your work and support
Hi,
You can leave the notification button for already subscribed users to simply unsubscribe by clicking it again. On the Push Notifications button settings, choose button behavior to be keep shown after subscription.
Thank you
Thank you for your reply. I already understood the current behavior of the bell (always visible or hidden after subscription).
I actually have two questions:
Managing notifications without the floating bell I would prefer not to keep the floating bell always visible. However, if it disappears after subscription, users no longer have an obvious way to unsubscribe or re-subscribe (except through system settings, which is rarely intuitive). Would it be possible to add an option to manage notifications directly inside the app (for example via a button or a dedicated page such as “Settings” / “Notifications”)?
Notification delivery on recent Android versions (14–16) On many recent Android devices (for example Pixel phones or others running Android 14, 15, or 16), push notifications are only delivered when the user opens the app or Chrome. This seems related to battery optimization features that put apps into sleep mode when running in the background. Is this a known limitation? And is there any workaround or solution to ensure notifications are delivered in real time, even when the app is closed?
Thank you very much for your help and for your great work
Thanks for your questions! Unfortunately, push notification delivery and management on devices is fully controlled by the operating system. This means there’s no way for the app itself to guarantee real-time delivery or allow subscription management when the floating bell is hidden. Everything depends on the OS behavior.
I’d like to encapsulate my website (which includes your plugin) with Capacitor, and then publish it on the Google Play Store, but I would like to disable the “installation prompts” when the app is running as a Capacitor app. Is there any way to disable it with a script? I know that this “if” statement below is able to detect the Capacitor execution: what can I execute in this condition to disable the useless “install prompts”? Do you have any other suggestion on how to obtain this result? THX in advance…
if (window.Capacitor && Capacitor.isNativePlatform())
Hi,
Yes, you can do something like this to detect when your site is running as PWA
if (window.matchMedia(‘(display-mode: standalone)’).matches)
yes, fine, this is clear. But I was asking for the “THEN” part of the IF instruction: what should I do to prevent the “Installation prompts” to appear when the website is executed as PWA? I don’t want these prompts suggesting the user to install it as a PWA while the website is ALREADY installed as PWA
I think this is an option that should be standard in the plugin: “AM I WORKING AS PWA? THEN INSTALLATION PROMPS ARE DISABLED”.
Installation prompts will not show up if the user is using PWA. That is already built-in functionality inside the plugin.
WOW, that’s great! You should highlight it somewhere in the plugin, it is a great feature!
After the latest update of the plugin, the plugin’s dashboard page stopped working and stays stuck on loading, as shown in the picture.
https://files.fm/f/p45sx9h4qyHi,
It should be working fine. We are now pushing the update that will probably fix your issue so make sure you update the plugin to the latest version.
Automation Buddypress Push Notification Not Working, this happened after a long time of update, the old version before this big update all worked normally and comfortably, but after this big update some functions did not work and especially buddypress push notification
Hi,
We will look in that.
Thank you
