Presales Question for appointment queue:

1. can you explain detail how is the flow? 2. when patient queue, will it inform patient when left 5 people before his turn? and estimate time? 3. what if patient over his queue number? ex: he is number 2, but coz he went to toilet and come back already number 10, then what admin do? jump queue? or….? then how doctor call the queue patient file?

Currently, there’s no notification when there are 5 patients left before a turn. The hospital has a display screen where patients can see their queue numbers in real time.

If a patient misses their turn (for example, goes out and returns later), the admin can remove them from the queue and reinsert them at the appropriate position.

There isn’t a direct option to “call” the patient through the system — the display and manual management handle the queue process.

There is a major security vulnerability with this application. I was trying to install this and got into trouble ! Example: https://techashna.com/medicare_updates_api/api/v1/get_configurations this brings up all the configs including zoom and google credentials to the frontend !

I reported this 12 days back. any update on this?

Yes, you can add doctors and charge them manually. Currently, we have not implemented the automated commission system, but you can still manage payments directly

Really nice, I have three questions, I need to ask before buying it for my next project. 1. What payment gateways are used, I think you are from India, Would you please consider indian payment gatewasy like cashfree, razorpay, payu, and phonepay, paytm, and if possible make it work with qr’s like if a clinic wants they can add thier own qr codes to take payment, also payment gateways can be added by clinics(keys and salts) so admin doesnt have to maintain every doctors and clinics payments. The clinics can manage themselves, 2. Pharmacy and Lab module to the system 3. Make it like a saas, so that admins can sell this to clinics in cities, and charge a subscription fee. or may be to individual doctors too. who run thier clinics themselves. 4. Pharmacy and Lab module to the system with home visit for collection of test samples, like blood and also in clinic testing for lab, Clinics can appoint prefered lab nearby. or serve it in thier clinics if they have arrangements. Both admin and clinics can on or off the pharmacy module or lab module. and keep an option to reffer thier own lab or pharmacy. as because many clinics doesnt have pharmacy or labs.

Also, someone pointed that there is a check in function, I want to understand, suppost a doctor has time slot in a clinic from 4 pm to 8 pm, and we have set appointments for every 10. minutes, Someone book an appointment in the morning, for time 4pm, and check in at his scheduled time at 4 pm, he got first que to see the doctor. And if he comes late in check in and someone boos 4:15 time and comes at 4:00pm and checks in before the 4: 15 patient, so he will get first que or it will assign according to time slots ? I mean how do doctors manage whom to see first ?

Timezone – You can change the timezone from the Laravel configuration. It does not adjust automatically.

Appointment Booking – Yes, users cannot book past or already booked time slots.

Check-In Sequence – The sequence depends on the check-in time. The first checked-in appointment will show first.

I’d like to highlight a couple of issues we are still facing:

Check-In Sequence – The sequence is not displaying correctly. For example:

If a patient with a 10 AM appointment checks in first, and another patient with an 11 AM appointment checks in later, the system still shows the 11 AM patient as #1 and the 10 AM patient as #2.

Ideally, the first check-in (10 AM) should appear first.

Kindly look into these issues and provide a fix.
