Hi Botable Team, your Athena script is very good and I really appreciate your work. Currently my AdSense is not approved, and I noticed there is no option to add custom JS code or iframe ads other than AdSense.
It would be great if you could consider adding this feature in a future update.

For custom JS for other ads, you can add it in Appearance -> Custom JS and add HTML code/iframe in Appearance -> Custom HTML.
Each ad provider has different way to insert ad to page, please give me your ad network provider, we will check it for you.

I have one more question regarding the script setup. I want to keep Athena script running on the main domain (https://example.com), and at the same time host another wordpress website in a sub-folder (https://example.com/stories).
Could you please confirm if this setup is possible with athena script? If yes, do I need to make any specific changes or adjustments on my side?

You just need to put your WordPress site in folder /public/stories, then it should work.
Our script is a Laravel script, you can research to know how to install WordPress inside a Laravel script if it doesn’t work for your server.

First of all, thank you for continuously improving the Athena Script. I’ve been using it for my news and magazine project and really appreciate the stability and features it already offers.
I wanted to make a small but important suggestion that could benefit many users — adding support for JavaScript/HTML ad codes and third-party push notification services (such as OneSignal, Firebase, etc.).
Many publishers, including myself, don’t rely solely on Google AdSense. Having the ability to insert custom JS or HTML ad codes will give us the flexibility to use other ad networks or direct brand ads easily.
Similarly, adding third-party push notification integration would be a huge advantage for driving instant traffic, improving engagement, and keeping readers updated with breaking news — a key feature for any modern news platform.
I genuinely believe these two additions will make your script much more powerful and increase its appeal to a wider range of users.

Please export your database on the current server and import it to your new server database, you need to reuse this database.
And copy all uploaded file in public/storage to your new server.
If you just want to import posts data, you need to export posts in Admin → Tools → Import / export data → Export → Posts to export posts data and import it again in Admin →Tools → Import / export data → Import → Posts

1.All posts show the same date, March 6. 2.If the main image of a post is from a remote link, the imported post saves the image to the local server instead of keeping the remote link. 3.The site speed on mobile is still slow. I’m not sure about points 1 and 2, but please improve the site speed on mobile. Thank you!

1. Your posts are imported at the same time, so it’s the same date.
2. Yes, it’s our logic, it’s used to move images from an existing site to the new one when migrating data to our script.
3. It’s the best we can do until now. Please compress images before uploading to your site, it will make your site loads faster.

Hello sir after the 9 December Update i am getting performance rate 65% by google Page Speed Insights.in result Core Web Vitals Assessment: Failed .worst part is Speed Index is 7.8s.which force the visitors to close it or bounce rate increasing while getting traffic from social media. Also when we select the main post image add from Url it automatically tick back to download image to local storage while saving. Please Solve the issues.Thank you

Maybe “Lazy load images” option make your Google page speed score down.
Try to disable this option https://prnt.sc/aD1r7j5SrFpp in Appearance → Theme options and check again.
This option make your site loads faster, but maybe it affects Google page speed score.

1. No, it’s a blog script, it has no option to receive money with PayPal. You can set up Google AdSense to earn money.
2, 3 & 4. No, it doesn’t have subscription features.

No, the main CMS source code is not public, you need to purchase it on CodeCanyon.
Only some free plugins and packages are available on GitHub.
As the rule https://codecanyon.net/licenses/standard, 1 license just can be used for 1 website (domain, subdomain, subfolder, IP…).
If you want to use our script for multiple sites/clients, you need to purchase multiple licenses.
What about the Extended licenses, If I can buy Extended license then I can use on multiple domain, correct?

If you need to use our script for multiple domain, you need to buy multiple licenses.
The license type is based on your site charging model. If it does not charge the end users, you can go with the regular license. If you have paying users who you charge for accessing or using your service (monthly or yearly subscription or get commission fee on each sale as SaaS etc.) then you will need the extended license.

Well this is opensource code and opensource framework you using to make it, so other developer can also use as many they want it so simple. I see lot of people using it on even 100+ domain, how does it matter.
Even I see many of the other site selling the same script in just $5 by removing the license code. you can search on google and you will get a lot of list or site offering from $5 to $9 with installation even.

This is a really nice blog script for Laravel that I will definitely choose over WordPress for my new blog/magazine website. I’m a WordPress & Laravel developer. I love Laravel over WordPress but never have the time to build my own Laravel Blog from scratch. So I’m definitely going to buy this one, however, after going through both the backends. There are just a few major features I would like to suggest.
1. AI blog post generator. We’re in the age of AI. Many blog owners find it very easy to generate blog posts with one click and there are plugins in WordPress one can get to do that easily. I would strongly recommend you guys make that a priority for the next release.
2. Free Stock Image library so that when one opens the image library to select images, they can have the option to either upload from a computer or choose from one of those free stock image libraries online. Make this a higher priority too.
3. Not a major priority but something to consider – maybe an AI image generator and enhancement plugin. Again, it shouldn’t be a higher priority but at least a good feature to add.
All these features a very necessary to have in your script because one can find all these in WordPress as well. Again, I’m not going to wait for these features to be added before I buy but I would highly appreciate and I think most of your other customers will do if these features are prioritized for the soonest possible release. Thanks.
