I’m trying to add different languages for the video player, but I don’t know where is the file, can you tell me whe is the file to add it ?

Currently, this option is not available — the player only supports a single video source with subtitles. However, we are planning to add a feature in the future.

We bought this script(different) account, we want to know where is the folder with the video player, to add the audio track feature to the script

To add the audio track feature, you need to first manage the create & edit forms for your content. Once that is set up, you will need to update the videoplayer.js file to implement the audio track functionality in the player.

I purchased Streamit Laravel v1.6.2 and after installation the demo content does not work properly. TV shows and movies return 500 errors on detail pages, and Live TV shows no thumbnails. The SQL dump provided seems inconsistent with this version, and demo seeding is blocked in production.

I already opened a support ticket (#26929), but please fix this quickly — the demo should work out of the box after purchase. Without a working demo DB, it is very difficult to test the product.

But in the files I only see updates of previous versions but not the complete set.

In the ZIP files we sent, you will find: Latest full source code ZIP Previous versions This way you have both the complete latest code and the older version for reference.

Hello, It seems there might be a misunderstanding.

We had already provided complete solutions for all your queries in ticket #26292, around one month ago. We have provided you with the necessary steps and guidance to make the changes in your code as per your requirement and assisted you with the process.

We just checked, and we haven’t received any new reply or follow-up from your side in that ticket. The last message in that ticket was from our support team, where we had already assisted you properly.

If you still have any concerns or need further assistance, we can reopen this ticket #26292, and we’ll be glad to assist you again. Please make sure to list out your new concerns there so we can address them properly.

Thank you!

In the next update, please add a referer system for stream links(Movies, TV Shows, Love Tv). Thank you.

hank you for your suggestion regarding the referer system for stream links (Movies, TV Shows, Love TV). Currently, this feature is not on our immediate roadmap, but we will definitely consider it as a potential option for future updates.

Hello, is it also possible to sell physical products such as DVDs and Blu-Rays? If not, is it possible with Streamit WP?

Streamit Laravel does not support selling physical products such as DVDs or Blu-Rays. This platform is designed specifically for digital streaming (AVOD, SVOD, TVOD) and content management.

The Streamit WP (WordPress) version supports physical product sales, which are enabled through WooCommerce.

Important Note for New Users Considering Streamit Laravel + Flutter

Before purchasing, please be aware of a major concern I’ve experienced — the built-in video player is extremely basic and lacks essential modern features.

Key Issues:

The player does not support multiple audio tracks (for different languages), even though that’s standard in most video players now.

There’s no speed control, no volume or brightness adjustment via touch gestures, and no subtitle support.

It’s missing critical features like:

A working quality switcher (changing quality restarts the video from the beginning).

Audio track selector.

Advanced skip buttons (e.g., 10/30 seconds forward/backward).

The UI is poorly designed — when you tap one button (like skip or quality), the other disappears from the screen.

Video Streaming Security: Currently, there is no secure streaming system in place, meaning URLs can be directly accessed. We suggest looking into a token-based or DRM solution to protect content.

Device Compatibility: Users have reported inconsistencies across different devices and OS versions, particularly with Android versions causing audio/video issues. Make sure to test thoroughly across devices for the best user experience.

Personal Experience:

Despite reporting these issues, it seems the Streamit Laravel team has been ignoring feedback related to the video player. It’s honestly far behind what even basic open-source players offer today.

If your use case heavily depends on a professional, fully-featured video player, I recommend you reconsider or wait for an update. Otherwise, if this isn’t a dealbreaker for you, feel free to proceed.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback and suggestions. We truly value your input and understand your concerns.

Currently, our player already supports subtitle functionality,. In addition, features such as advanced skip buttons for forward backward, improved quality switching, audio track options, and secure streaming with token-based/DRM solutions are already on our roadmap and will be rolled out in upcoming updates.

Your feedback helps us prioritize these enhancements, and we are committed to providing a more secure, reliable, and feature-rich video experience for all users.

Hello,

Thank you for your response and for outlining the upcoming features on your roadmap — it’s great to hear that secure streaming, subtitle support, and enhanced playback controls are being prioritized.

We’d like to provide a few clarifications and additional feedback based on our current experience:

Subtitles: While subtitle functionality is supported, it appears we need to provide an external subtitle file separately. There’s currently no inbuilt subtitle reader that automatically picks up subtitle tracks from a URL-linked video, which limits flexibility for streaming setups.

Advanced Skip Buttons: We’ve encountered several issues here:

When streaming from a URL, pressing the skip button three or more times often causes the quality switch button to disappear.

In some cases, pressing the skip button restarts the movie from the beginning.

Quality button:Even when the quality button remains visible, switching from one quality to another often causes the video to restart from the beginning.

Audio Switching: We noticed there’s no audio track selection button on both web and app when playing videos from a URL source.

UI Integration Suggestion: It seems like the skip and quality buttons are overlays on top of the player. To improve reliability and UX, we suggest either:

Integrating these controls directly into the player, or

Using a different player that offers these basic features by default, especially for streaming use cases.

Also, could you please clarify what types of audio formats and language tracks your player currently supports for video playback?

For example, does it support formats such as AAC, Dolby Digital 5.1 (DD5.1), DTS, MP3, etc.? And does it allow multiple language tracks embedded within the video file (e.g., Hindi, English, Tamil, etc.) to be selectable by the user for url based streaming?

We appreciate the direction your team is heading in, especially with the planned enhancements. We’ll definitely test again after the upcoming updates and provide further feedback on improvements.

Thanks again for your continued support and openness to feedback.

Thank you for your detailed feedback — we truly appreciate the time you’ve taken to share your experience.

Subtitles: Currently, an external file is required. We will review this for future improvements so subtitle tracks can load automatically from video sources.

Skip & Quality Buttons: The issues with disappearing buttons, restarts, and quality switching are noted. This is already in our roadmap for upcoming releases.

Audio Switching: Multi-audio support is on our roadmap, and we will review this for future updates.

UI Integration: Your suggestion about integrating controls directly into the player is very helpful. We’re exploring improvements here for a smoother experience.

We appreciate your input, as it helps us prioritize enhancements and improve the overall experience

Hello, I purchased this item but I’m disappointed.

I installed everything on my private server. I met all the requirements and recommendations, and the installation was successful. I installed it on IIS (Windows Server 2025).

For the life of me, I can’t understand where the demo content is coming from. It displays on the frontend, but there are no videos, categories, etc. in the backend. This is incredibly frustrating.

Additionally, when I add a video in the admin panel, it doesn’t appear in the admin panel (it’s blank), but it does appear in the frontend.

I would like to request a refund or exchange this item for your WordPress template (I hope there won’t be any issues with it).

I’m waiting for your response. Regards.

Hello, I would like to know if the platform currently includes (or plans to include) a Live Streaming option. For example: imagine a comedian organizing a stand-up show in person. He would also like to broadcast the event online, through the platform, in a pay-per-view format, so that users can pay to access the live show. Does this live streaming feature already exist, or is it planned for upcoming updates? Thank you for your feedback.

sir, it’s not work

Hello, This link is working properly in our live demo. Could you please let us know where you are checking this link, so we can verify it from our end as well?

Great work!

Thanks for your appreciation.

Proposal for Integrating Free IPTV Channels into the Platform

I would like to share a suggestion that could significantly enhance the platform’s appeal and credibility, both for end users and for potential partners and investors. Would it be possible, in your upcoming updates, to integrate free IPTV channels and online television streams that are already legally available on the internet? The idea would be to directly connect an IPTV source (for example through an M3U/M3U8 file or an open API) so that users can immediately access real and free content within the platform.

The benefits of this integration would include: Providing users with access to live, free content right from the start, Strengthening the platform’s credibility with investors and partners, Offering a tangible proof of concept before adding licensed premium content, Making it easier to launch and attract a wider audience. For example, there are already open-source libraries (such as IPTV-org) that provide free channels from around the world. Incorporating such resources could be a major asset for your application.

Link : https://github.com/iptv-org/iptv

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful suggestion. Integrating free and legally available IPTV channels is definitely in line with our long-term vision, and we have already discussed internally about bringing live TV/streaming content into the platform.

At this stage, however, our immediate priority is to make the core product fully stable and scalable before adding new modules. For IPTV specifically, there are a few challenges we are preparing for:

Licensing & compliance – Even free-to-air channels require documented permissions to redistribute inside an app. We want to ensure every feed is legally covered to avoid any Play Store / App Store rejection.

Security & HTTPS – All streams must be delivered over HTTPS with valid SSL certificates to meet Apple/Google guidelines and protect user data.

Reliability & maintenance – Public IPTV sources (like open M3U/M3U8 lists) often change or go offline, so we need an automated process to monitor and update links to maintain a smooth user experience.

Our plan is to focus first on a stable, well-tested core platform, and then introduce features like IPTV once we can guarantee both technical and regulatory standards.

We really appreciate your input—it reinforces that we are moving in the right direction and will definitely keep you updated as we progress toward this next phase.

thank a lot for your best reply

@urionstar

They purposely add Amazon s3 storage first knowing before hand customers want cheaper alternatives. They trying to make another dollar with customization job. Instead losing potential customers and real money. Their business model is charging customers for customization features that should be part of the main script. The author doesn’t understand if they have many sales, just renew support revenue alone is a lot money. Instead they drive away potential customers. If only the author focus on having the best movie streaming script other people will switch over to your script. It’s that simple instead trying make customers pay for features that should be on the script . Don’t undermine your own business. I guess next they will ask for customization for maintenance mode and blog features

Example script sngine, they keep loading features and have over 4k sales. Plus customers keep asking for customization jobs

We understand that every customer has different requirements based on their needs and location. While we offer customization services to assist with specific requests, it is entirely optional—there’s no obligation from our side. You are free to work with your own developer to implement features that best suit your needs.

Regarding storage options, we’re carefully reviewing popular platforms and planning to add support for widely used and cost-effective storage solutions to our roadmap, ensuring more flexibility for our users in future updates.

As for the BlackBlaze Integration I have been talking about it since Day one and that is what most of your customers need.

It will be better to add it to roadmap now and do it instead of putting it as customization

Thank you for your suggestion regarding BlackBlaze integration. We’ve been considering adding support for additional storage platforms like this, as we understand it’s something many customers need. We’re planning to include it in our roadmap and it will be available as a standard feature in future updates rather than being offered as a separate customization.

Your latest updated file has issue. We have tried a fresh install. But facing issues.

When using 1.5.1.zip, everything is great but when try to using a fresh install by 1.6.2.zip it’s giving error: attach the error screenshot at fresh install.

Created a support ticket for error facing, received reply that we have uploaded incomplete files. Such a useless support. We have to giving this kind of error report.

Our zip file is working perfectly, but I noticed that you missed installing the two update files 1.6.0 and 1.6.1. That’s why you are getting the missing file error.

Please make sure you don’t skip any update files.

Also, we couldn’t find your support ticket. Could you please share the ticket number so we can assist you more easily.

Ticket #26754 You again skip the main question. If we delete all the old project and start a new project using your latest file, then why it’s not working?

Regarding Ticket #26754, we have already provided the answer in the ticket for better assistance, and we respond to your queries as quickly as possible.

Will different dubbing options be available? Can you give us some tips on the roadmap?

Thank you for the suggestion. We’ll consider this and plan to add dubbing options to our roadmap in future updates.

After reviewing the comments, I have decided to wait before proceeding with the purchase until the application supports M3U8, MKV, and MP4 formats. I consider this compatibility essential, as most streaming and IPTV applications rely on these standards for content transmission and management.

The lack of support for these formats not only limits the integration of IPTV playlist access but may also increase implementation costs by requiring additional solutions or external adaptations. Therefore, I believe that native support for these formats should be a prerequisite before moving forward with the acquisition.

For M3U8 links, you need to select the HLS video type while uploading. After selecting HLS, you can add your M3U8 link, and it will work correctly. We’ve checked this on our end, and it is working as expected.

I’m testing with an m3u8 file and it doesn’t work. It appears in the application. I’m going to leave you the image. https://ibb.co/hqQkCnD https://ibb.co/8RdXV5F It tells me that it doesn’t work

The issue is happening because you are using an IPTV stream (M3U8 file), and currently, our platform does not support IPTV streams. However, this feature is in our roadmap, and we are planning to add support for it in future updates.

After more reviews, if you want a streaming movie script, I think StreamIt is very good, but it still needs many improvements. If you want a movie script like IMDB, then MTDb is the best script.

1) StreamIt needs Backblaze storage because Amazon S3 is too expensive. Not many people here have that type of money.

2) Anything related to money, you, as the site owner, need good advanced Analytics & Reports. Just like taxes, you don’t want to play around with taxes and customers and movie distributors money, etc.

Thank you for your feedback. For the storage option, we can provide customization to integrate alternatives like Backblaze. Regarding advanced analytics and reports, this feature is already part of our roadmap and will be added in future updates.

hello Streaming API Enhancement Suggestion

Would it be possible to integrate connectors to recognized legal content aggregators (movies, series, documentaries, etc.) into your streaming API? The goal would be to allow API users to:

1. Connect directly to partner aggregators,

2. Manage and pay for their subscriptions to these aggregators directly through the streaming platform,

3. Automatically import and update the content catalog (new releases added automatically),

4. Launch their streaming service with just a few clicks, without any technical complexity. This would enable your clients to start a ready-to-go streaming business immediately, while fully complying with legal distribution rules.

Thank you for your suggestion. Currently, Streamit lets you manage and stream your own licensed content, subscriptions, and catalog. Integration with external legal content aggregators (auto-sync, payments, ready-to-go catalogs) is not available at the moment, since it requires licensing agreements with those providers.

We appreciate your idea and will keep it in mind for future updates.

What should be the file format for subtitles?

Our system supports subtitles in .srt or .vtt format. Please make sure the subtitle files are provided in one of these formats so they work correctly with the player.
