Hello Angela,
I have a issue. The email template is not sent when the action is fired via “Bulk action” at Woocommerce/Order. Let me explain:
1) I have a template to be fired with a custom order status: my_custom_order_status
2) I added the right code in myfunctions.php to register the my_custom_order_status to work with your plugin.
3) If I edit a single “order” and set the status to my_custom_order_status the email template is sent with no problem
4) So far so good.
5) But now, if I go to Woocommerce/Order, select several orders and change the status using “Bulk actions” the email template is not sent. You can see it here: https://www.loom.com/share/475aa316da3c41c985425a20d744628a?sid=c8ae0e62-05eb-4e58-9baf-369f3d785b06
This was working right a few weeks ago.
Can you help me please? Regards.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out.
In WooCommerce, whether an email is sent when you change an order status depends on two things: Which status you’re changing to and how you change the status. Additionally, does it still work that way if you disable our plugin WooCommerce Email Template Customizer?
Best regards.
Hello, I extended support, and now I want to activate the key in WP. But I forgot my password, unfortunately reset password on your website doesn’t seems to work after 5 attempts of different days. Also support isn’t responding @VillaTheme. Hope you can help me out asap.

Hello. I am using your WebPOS plugin. Is there a way to send a custom order completed email with the WooCommerce Email Template Customizer. WebPOS send the default email template with contains info not related to POS order. So I need to tricker a different email for orders coming from POS. Is that possible?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out. I’m sorry the compatibility isn’t available at the moment, but we’ll definitely consider that.
Best regards.
Hi,
We have the premium version of your plugin “WooCommerce Email Template Customizer” and was wondering if it is possible to send different email templates depending on the users role? We currently have 2 user roles, “customers” “wholesale”. We would like to be able to send the wholesale customers a different template to normal customers. Is this possible or coming soon?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
The feature is not supported at the moment, unfortunately. But it’s indeed a good one. We’ll consider integrating in the future updates.
Best regards.
Hi, can I insert custom hook to the email template?
Hello,

Hi, I have a problem with gmail not showing images, its especially worse on desktop even with the setting ‘always display external images’ it makes no difference. I’m guessing its to do with the way gmail caches images?

We did fix some issues related to alignment in the version 1.2.13 and released 1.2.14, could you try again the the latest version?
To view the source HTML of the email template, I supposed you can use the Dev tool >> Element, or View page source

Hello, would it be possible to implement a feature in the plugin that allows images in emails to display automatically without prompting for permission?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I think you’re referring to this behavior: https://docs.villatheme.com/woocommerce-email-template-customizer/#configuration_child_menu_10449
If yes, I’m afraid it’s not possible to make our plugin bypass the requirement. The way images are displayed in emails (especially whether they show automatically or require permission) is controlled by the email client (like Gmail, Outlook, etc.), not by our plugin or the email content itself.
Best regards.
Hello angela_grey,
Yes and No, it’s the correct issue but wrong approach to the solution or the real problem…
The real problem is: That the images are loaded from a link/server VS loading from within the email itself.
For example: one of the real solutions to this problem is to send the images with the email *(as attached files) and in CSS ID them to locations where they need to be shown…
There are a few more methods to correct the problem/issue, please look into it with new perspectives.
Best regards.
Thanks for the clarification.
We understand your point, but unfortunately, embedding images directly into emails is not supported at the moment. And we appreciate your suggestion, but at this time, we don’t plan to implement inline image embedding.
That said, we’ll continue reseaching in the future seeing what we can do and look into alternative solutions or improvements for future updates. Thanks again for sharing your perspective!
Hello, nice plugin. One question – does the premium provide desktop and mobile separate editor?
Hi,
Thanks for your interest and kind words!
At the moment, the premium version does not include a separate editor for desktop and mobile. The design is responsive and adjusts automatically based on the screen size, but there’s no dedicated interface to create different layouts for each.
If you have any other questions or need help with setup, feel free to ask!
Best regards.
Hi,
We are using WooCommerce Germanized, which includes a delivery time feature that should be displayed in the order emails. However, this information is not being shown when using your plugin.
this is the email when not using the email customizer https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/v7chwlucs2youd18w9q35/Screenshot-2025-06-19-at-9.11.49-PM.png?rlkey=99gguxiv4n5p1xfhq4rme9msd&dl=0Regards, Julius

Hi,
i noticed the following warning in Query Monitor related to your plugin:
“Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the viwec-email-template-customizer domain was triggered too early. This usually indicates that some code in the plugin is running before it should. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later.”
Could you please take a look and fix this?
Thanks
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I can definitely take a look. Please create a support ticket on this Support Forum.

Hi,
i’m currently unable to open a support ticket myself. Could you please open one?
I can provide you with a screenshot, and you’ll also be able to see the issue directly on your staging system. Where can I send you the screenshots of the issue? Which email address should I use?
Thanks
I’m afraid I can’t open a ticket for you. If I do, you won’t be able to see my private comments. But please don’t worry, the Forum above is pre-sale, it’s open for any users. You don’t need live Item Support to submit a ticket there.
Hi, I have a pre-sale question. I’m planning to purchase this plugin, but do I also need to buy the “9MAIL – WordPress Email Templates Designer” plugin, or does this plugin already include those features?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
The 9MAIL plugin is for WordPress emails, it doesn’t require WooCommerce, while this plugin does. They’re for different email types and don’t include each other. They also don’t require each other to work.
I would recommend trying our free plugin for a better view: https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-template-customizer-for-woo/
Best regards.
Hi,
Question before purchase,
1. Can I add information from custom product fields, such as text and text area, to the order confirmation email? I am using Advanced Product Fields from Studiowombat.
2. Can I add tracking information from Advanced Shipment Tracking: image from Woo email: https://ibb.co/LXF4mPFv https://ibb.co/bRBqJwHdPeter
Hi – Thanks for your interest, Peter!
Yes, both are possible. You can check out this video tutorial that shows how to add custom fields and tracking info to emails: https://youtu.be/h9rVL052tyI?si=5sYpD_4Z_WhGVFTU&t=340
You can try our free plugin. Let us know if you have more questions!

Hello, for a third party email created by woocommerce orders status manager. I added the following to my function.php
add_filter( ‘viwec_accept_email_type’, function ($email_types) {
$email_types[] = ‘wc_order_status_email_8138’;
return $email_types;
}, 9999 );
I can see the new email in the dropdown menu “select email type”. I select it and then save, the page will save and reload but it goes back to “select email type”
please help
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We have a guide for 3rd plugin compatibility, you can see this for more details: https://villatheme.com/knowledge-base/compatibility-scenarios-with-3rd-party-email-plugins/#3
But I’m afraid we can’t help further with site-specific compatibility issue, unfortunately.
Best regards.
I was really hoping that you would be a little more helpful. nay tips as you may have come across this issue in the past or even your thoughts.
I have checked the docs for the 3rd party emails and added the code snipped in the function.php as directed but I am having a different issue.
Thanks for your message.
I understand you were hoping for more detailed help, but I want to clarify our position so you’re not left frustrated.
We’ve provided a general guide for integrating with third-party email plugins, which covers the basics and includes a code snippet as a starting point. This is because our built-in integration uses a Default Template, and it’s not feasible for us to develop and maintain custom compatibility for each and every third-party plugin out there — especially considering how varied user needs can be.
The kind of request you’re making goes beyond what standard support covers, because it involves custom code tailored to your specific setup
This is why we offer a general guide – to give users a flexible starting point for customization. Going beyond that would mean working on a case-by-case basis, which falls under custom development, not standard support — especially now that your item support has expired.
We appreciate your understanding, and if you’re working with a developer, they should be able to build on the guide we provided.
I didn’t find the Woocommerce Subscription or Free Trial expiration-related email template. Will not you provide those email template?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
For third-party plugin compatibility, it commonly works with the default template, and their plugin’s email might be formatted by Default Template – uneditable; or it might have its own template within our samples – this can only be achieved if the 3rd plugin integrated with our plugin based on this guide: https://villatheme.com/knowledge-base/compatibility-scenarios-with-3rd-party-email-plugins/#3
If they implemented it based on that, they would be in the best position to assist you.
Let us know if you need anything else!
Best regards.
Hi, after the last update of Woocommerce 9.8.3 the emails are not looking good inside of Gmail mobile. It messes with the styling, can you fix this in next update?
If you send a test email it looks good, but if a real order comes it is messed up with the styling.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you please create a support ticket on this Support Forum and allow us to have a direct look? No Item Support required.

Hello, I have a question regarding the “WooCommerce Email Template Customizer Premium” plugin. In my database, I noticed entries with the “viwec_” prefix, such as viwec_email_structure, viwec_settings_type, and viwec_custom_css, which are set to autoload (value “yes”). I would like to optimize my database and have the following questions: 1. Is it necessary for these entries to be set to autoload? 2. Is it safe to change the autoload setting from “yes” to “no” for these entries? Will it affect the plugin’s functionality? I would appreciate any clarification or additional information on this topic.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Yes, it’s possible to change the autoload setting to “no” for those entries – if you haven’t made or don’t intend to make significant customizations in the plugin. However, please note that we can’t take responsibility if any issues arise from modifying the database manually. Proceed with caution and make sure to back up your site before making changes.
Best regards.
Can I include the PDF version of the order attached to the email ?
Hi,
Thanks for your question!
Our plugin allows you to attach a file to the email template, but it has to be a fixed file – it doesn’t automatically generate or attach a dynamic PDF of the order: https://docs.villatheme.com/woocommerce-email-template-customizer/#Attach-file
If you’d like to include the PDF version of an order, you’ll need to set that up directly in WooCommerce first, or through another plugin that supports generating and attaching order PDFs. Once that’s in place, our plugin will work alongside it.
Hope this helps! Let us know if you need anything else.
Best regards.
While the plugin offers promising functionality and ease of use, it is disappointing that the “Footer” and “Header” blocks are not translatable with WPML. This significantly limits the plugin for multilingual websites, where consistent translations are crucial for a professional appearance. Hopefully, this issue will be addressed in a future update, as the plugin definitely has potential otherwise.
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.
Currently, translating the “Footer” and “Header” blocks with WPML is not within the compatibility scope we intended for the plugin.
If you need different headers or footers for each language, you would need to create separate blocks in each language manually and assign them to the corresponding templates.
We appreciate your understanding.
Best regards.
