Yes, Handyman allows you to offer both 100% online services and in-person services (such as classes or consultancies). By default, the client’s address is required during booking. However, if you’d like the address to be optional or completely removed for online-only services, a small customization will be needed.

In our system, a handyman cannot work completely independently without a provider. However, a provider can choose to perform services themselves without assigning a handyman.
So effectively:
Handyman alone: Cannot register or manage services independently.
Provider: Can either assign a handyman or perform the service themselves.
This ensures that all services are managed under a provider, maintaining consistency and control in the platform.

We also reported the issue of database getting reverted to demo automatically months back but Team was not accepting this , guys this is very bad reputation and its not guarantee about the security and every new update arising new issues you only wasting time
The database was not reverting automatically. Google’s crawler (Googlebot) accessed the install/database link, which triggered the demo seeder and made it look like the database was reset.
This is not a code issue. We will disable the install link after setup so no bot or visitor can trigger it again. Once disabled, your database will remain safe and will not reset back to demo. About new updates, sometimes small issues may appear, but we fix them quickly. Your feedback helps us improve, and we appreciate your patience.
Hi, I have couple of points I would like youir input on.
1. How do we setup employees with the different roles for the business? 2. Is it possible to streamline the zone setup by enabling a quick search? What I mean by that is to have a search box next to the map where when you start entering the name of the city or country, it auto-populates and displays it on the map. This would make it much easier instead of us dragging the map to search for a country, state, city, etc. and then using the delineator to set the zone..
3. Is it possible to add the option for admin/employees to book service right from the admin panel/website for a client or allow a client to book ddirectly from the website without being registered already? That would greatly help.

Yes, this is definitely possible. At present, zones are set manually with the map and delineator tool. Our current Handyman App is specifically designed for on-demand home services, and transforming it into a real estate marketplace (similar to Deal App) would require discarding and rewriting a large portion of the existing codebase. This means a significant level of customization will be needed.

If the service is completed, it will be based on the prepayment to confirm the completion of the service and confirm payment. 2. If for some reason the service cannot be performed, the amount will be refunded to the user. And currently, the customer application does not support payment by e-Transfer. I find this payment gateway very useful for users. When users choose this payment method, detailed information about the bank with QR code will be displayed for convenient payment. Please consider and add this feature to your script code. After completing the transfer, the customer will attach an image or file to prove the transfer. Admin will check the evidence and the amount received in bank account if correct will confirm this payment. Thank you

We agree this is a very useful feature and your detailed flow makes complete sense:
User Payment Options – At the time of booking, users can select Cash on Service, Online Payment Gateway, or Bank Transfer / e-Transfer.
Bank Transfer Flow – When selecting e-Transfer, the system will display bank details with QR code for quick transfer.
Upload Proof of Payment – Customers will be able to attach a screenshot / file of the payment slip as proof.
Admin Verification – The admin will verify the payment evidence and confirm the booking.
Service Completion & Refunds –
If the service is completed, the prepayment will be marked as confirmed.
If the service cannot be performed, the admin can process a refund to the customer.
This enhancement is not available in the current release but we have noted it as an important feature request. We will evaluate its feasibility and add it to our roadmap for future updates.
For urgent requirements, this can also be provided as a customization so you don’t have to wait for the official update.
