Hi,
Can this Escrow Payment Platform be used in the same way as paypal where the buyer and seller add their payment email address.
When the buyer sends payment, its held in Escrow, and then if the product is delivered then admin can release payment to the seller.
Is there any payment auto hold? example, payment will auto release to the seller after 30 days?
Also; Has it been tested under load – to see how many transaction it will handle?
another question:
when the buyer sends payment.. where is this payment held?
I had a look at the admin demo and i can’t see where admin adds his payment option.
Is this just a payment gateway management and not a Escrow Payment system like eBay’s or amazons? just asking because i am looking for my own payment system that is like eBay’s or amazons
- Our Escrow system supports 15+ international payment gateways, with the flexibility for the admin to configure manual payment gateways if required.
- You can access this option from the Admin Panel after logging in.
- Check this attachment for better understanding : https://prnt.sc/2BidPGDtzHwP
How the Escrow Works—
- When a buyer creates a new task for a seller, the total payment amount is held securely in escrow.
- The buyer can also create a milestone-based payment structure if the project involves multiple phases.
- Once the buyer approves a milestone or the entire task, the payment is automatically released to the seller’s account.
In case of a dispute, the admin has the authority to:
- Communicate with both parties via the integrated chat system.
- Review and resolve the issue by deciding in favor of the buyer, seller, or both.
- This system follows the standard escrow logic, ensuring automated and secure payment release to sellers.

Thank you.
You can configure multiple currencies for each payment gateway. For more details, please explore our demo, particularly the Admin’s Payment Method section.

Hi! Question before buying. Will it work in your script for SMTP authentication mode – PLAIN (see screenshot in the link): https://paste.pics/62dc331ec0eec8ccec764db5f32ccb51
Yes, it should work. For more information, please visit the following URL: https://script.tonatheme.com/tonaescrow/doc/assets/page/email-sms.html
Hi tanks, but I did not find in your documentation in the link that SMTP settings support PLAIN authentication. My domain is on Protonmail servers and SMTP requires PLAIN authentication support, here are the requirements from Protonmail: (SMTP host: smtp.protonmail.ch – Port: 587 – Authentication method: PLAIN – Encryption: STARTTLS) Can you say for sure that PLAIN and other Protonmail settings will work in your script?
I tried setup SMS as twillio, I have supplied the SID, Key and Phone number, so on phone testing, its bring 500 error when I tried testing it.
I have open support tickets for like 5days now but no response thats why i come here. Thank you in advance
We were waiting to hear further from you, and it seems you may have received the support you needed. However, if you’re still facing any issues, please don’t hesitate to email us at support@tonatheme.com with all the relevant details.
Hello, please check your email. I purchased the script and a file was missing. I need your urgent help, please.
There is no file missing. By default, dot (.) files are hidden in the hosting panel, which is why you are unable to find the .env file. We have sent you a reply email with proper instructions on what to do.
Hello i need to know how easy is it to add another payment getway like mobile money transfer, am from a region where vast majority uses mobile money apart from stripe and paypal
We can integrate payment gateway as per your requirement. Please send us an email for the customization at support@tonatheme.com
is it same as swapdeal.co website?
We are not entirely sure if our item is the same as the website you mentioned. Our script is designed for escrow services. You can check the demo from the links below. If you need further assistance, mail us at support@tonatheme.com

What is the exact user flow?
1. Does the buyer register, deposit funds and then create an escrow?
2. When entering the seller’s email and escrow details, does the seller need an account first, or is an invite sent if they don’t have one?
3. How does the seller view their escrow details and accept? Please provide steps and screenshots.
4. How does the buyer create milestones? Please provide steps and screenshots.
5. When the seller completes the service, how do they request funds? Is there a button for this? Please provide steps and screenshots.
6. Who approves the request—the buyer or admin? Please provide steps and screenshots.
7. Once approved, are the escrow funds transferred to the seller’s withdrawal balance?
8. How do they withdraw funds? Is it manual or automated via PayPal, etc?
Thanks!
You will probably take few week to reply. Still on holiday?
We have two weekly holidays, and the remaining five days are our working days. Your questions seem more like pre-purchase inquiries rather than support requests. Did you check our demo and documentation before purchasing?
I noticed your one-star rating for ‘no support,’ but where are the 500 related issues? I suggest updating your rating, as it seems you may not fully understand the system.
Check our demo: https://script.tonatheme.com/tonaescrow/demo For further queries, email support@tonatheme.com
Can you please answer my questions so I can update my rating? Right now, I have no clarity on the correct flow. I can’t create milestones, I’m encountering 404 errors, and there’s no way to transfer the escrow balance to the withdrawal balance without manual database changes. The documentation hasn’t been helpful. Here are my questions again:

1. Yes.
2. Users must have an account to invite others.
3. Both buyers and sellers can view escrow details from their dashboards. check this https://prnt.sc/85y9W8T4fQAx
4. After the escrow details buyer will be able to see and create milestones. Check this https://prnt.sc/Q1nsd2tU7U6G
5. Buyers create milestones and make payments. For further discussions, they can use the chatbox. There is no option to request funds. Finally, the buyer will mark the escrow as complete. If any issues arise, both the buyer and seller can dispute the escrow, and the admin will make the final decision.
6. The user who creates the escrow must wait for the other party to accept it.
7. Yes.
8. The withdrawal system is manual.
If you face any issues please email support@tonatheme.com
So, you have no issue, yet you’re blaming anonymously and unwilling to change the false review. We expect clients to have at least some basic technical knowledge.
Just saw your message; I’ve been busy. The issues I faced were real, not a false review—I had to hire a developer to get it working. If you had responded sooner, I wouldn’t have left that review. The script itself is actually good once you understand it, but a simple video walkthrough would help users avoid confusion and complaints. It has a steep learning curve.
I still need clarification:
Buyer
1. All Escrow > Click Details
2. See Milestones > Create Milestones (This was hard to find—consider adding a screenshot to the documentation.)
3. Fund Milestone > Select Wallet
Seller
1. All Escrow > Click Details > See Milestones
2. What happens next? How does the seller request or receive payment for a milestone? Right now, it just shows as funded.
3. Wouldn’t it be more logical for the milestone funds to be added to the seller’s balance for them to withdraw? Still a bit confused.
Looking forward to your response.
Nobody needs to hire a developer to get our script working. I will forward your feedback about the video presentation to our R&D team.
Seller : 2. The seller doesn’t need to request payment. They only need to check whether the milestones created by the buyer are funded. If not, the seller can dispute the escrow.
3. If the buyer marks the escrow as completed, the total amount, excluding the system charge, will be automatically added to the seller’s balance.
I am not sure if this developer provides support as I have seen number of comments unanswered. Interested in buying it but would like to confirm if developer is available for support.
Thanks
Thanks SocialSuite for the awareness. I left a comment 10 days ago and no response and luckily I did not buy it.
You can buy our item. We provide full support to those who contact us at support@tonatheme.com
Thanks for the reply. I can see it does not has Payoneer and Wise payment method. Is it possible for you to add with custom support by paying you?
1. Please confirm if it is possible for you to add these 2 methods?
2. Please confirm how much would it cost me?
Thanks
1. Please provide us with the developer API to integrate those two payment gateways.
2. Please email support@tonatheme.com for more.
Just sent you an email. Thanks
Responded. Please check.
Pre-purchase question:
Can the admin do manual escrow transfers?
Also, does it support PayPal, Stripe and Google Pay?
No, the admin can’t manually transfer escrow funds. However, if an escrow is reported, the admin can decide how the funds will be distributed between the buyer and seller.
Also, this script doesn’t support Google Pay, but it does support the other payment methods you mentioned
Just some advice—if you launch a new script, being available for support will help grow sales rather than taking a holiday.
Can you help me integrate payos https://payos.vn/docs/sample? Thank
The URL you provided isn’t working. Please email us all your requirements at support@tonatheme.com
Great script. Are you looking to provide developer API integration for the platform?
Yes, we have this plan for the future. Thanks for staying with us.
