Password-Protected Groups:Currently, only public groups are displayed on the landing page. If you’d like to show password-protected groups as well, you’ll need to modify the backend files.
Removing Custom Fields (e.g., Date of Birth):You can hide the Date of Birth and other custom profile fields through the Custom Fields module. Go to Menu > Modules > Custom Fields to manage visibility.
Manual Approval for Group Join Requests:At this time, the platform does not support manual approval for group join requests.

Is there any way, when we are showing our all groups publically ( Menu > Settings > General Settings > find and enable “View Public Group Without Login” > then click Update. ) then few groups appear publically but when user click at those group then it move to login page normally in public groups when we click then all chat appear but is there any way we can display few groups at landing page but when user click there then it move to login page rather than chat page. don’t want only at backend, i want it appear at frontend once click then rather than chat page go to login page

I am using the Grupo Chat – Chat Room script and I really like it. I would like to suggest adding a few features that could significantly improve user experience:
1. Hand Raise Feature: Users can click a “✋ Raise Hand” button to request attention or to ask for speaking rights. Moderators can view the list of users who raised their hands and allow them to speak if needed.
2. Take Microphone / Voice Chat: A WebRTC-based voice chat feature would allow users to communicate verbally. Moderators can decide who gets to speak, just like in moderated meetings.
These features would be especially useful for educational sessions, live events, or moderated discussions.
Are these features planned for future updates? I look forward to your feedback.

Hello. Is there an API to request the content of the unread private message that was just sent? My idea is that when a new private message is sent, the recipient will have a pop-up window showing the message content so that the user can quickly read the message without having to go to the story chat page to read it.

Yes, you can disable custom fields or other fields in the signup form.
To disable a custom field (e.g., About Me):
- Go to Menu > Modules > Custom Fields
- Click on the specific custom field
- Select Edit
- Locate and disable “Show on Signup Page”
- Click Update
To disable standard fields like Full Name or Username:
- Go to Menu > Settings > Login Settings
- Find the options:
- “Hide Username Field in Registration Page”
- “Hide Name Field in Registration Page”
- Set the desired option to Yes
- Click Update

can we set filter keyword/link based on the group, suppose we create one group for some other purpose peoples are joining all groups and mixing up everything, we want to restrict some keywords in specific groups, so we can restrict peoples do relevant discussion in each group.. don’t mixing up everything by joining all groups.

I propose adding a highly practical feature to Grupo Chat in future updates: polling and question bank capabilities.
This will:
1.Allow content creators to efficiently gather community feedback.
2.Enable administrators to set up qualification tests that users must pass before registering, improving user quality screening.
3.Let users voluntarily attempt more advanced tests after registration to earn specific roles. Passing these would unlock corresponding permissions and privileges based on their roles.

HI found something on the platform, if you disable go online for any group, the people that are currently offline cant get back as shown online unless an admin does it manually.” The system should auto set everyone online as part of the process?” Also wouldn’t it make sense to have cronjobs exclude and include groups to delete group messages, as some groups like story groups where lots of people are writing a story and want to save the rooms progress??
