We’re tired of constantly dealing with API settings in our code. Can you help us develop the Jobcy mobile app for Botble scripts? like MartFury Flutter – Complete eCommerce Mobile Apps for Botble scripts, It would be a great improvement
Hi,
Sorry, we don’t have plans to develop mobile apps for job board for now. Please hire a Flutter developer to do it for you.
We will consider making mobile apps for this script when we have more time in the future.
Hello Jobcy Developers,
I hope you’re doing well. I would like to better understand how the Sitemap feature works, especially regarding job visibility.
When all jobs are set to be visible, I’ve noticed that:
The Jobs page displays all jobs, including expired or closed ones. The Sitemap does not list all jobs — it only includes those that are currently open and available for application. The Categories page also only shows jobs that are open for application.
This leads to a few questions I’d appreciate clarification on:
Why doesn’t the Sitemap include all visible jobs, like the Jobs page does?
Are expired or closed jobs supposed to be: Accessible through direct links? Listed in the Sitemap or Categories? What is the intended behavior for showing or hiding expired/closed jobs across the site?
I’d really appreciate a clear explanation of how the Sitemap handles job visibility, especially in relation to expired and closed listings.

Hi,
Sitemap Filtering Logic:
- Jobs must be PUBLISHED status (not CLOSED, DRAFT, or PENDING)
- Jobs must be APPROVED by moderation
- Jobs must not be expired (expire_date >= today OR never_expired = true)
I see that it is implemented correctly, it’s combining all these conditions. The sitemap excludes:
- Closed jobs
- Expired jobs
- Jobs pending moderation
- Draft jobs
This filtering makes sense for SEO purposes – search engines should only index jobs that visitors can actually apply to. The regular Jobs page may show all jobs (including closed/expired) for browsing purposes, but the sitemap correctly limits itself to active, available positions.

Hi, I’m interested in buying Jobcy, but I have some concerns:
1. On the home/landing page, the search takes up a lot of space, pushing everything else (categories, New & Random Jobs sections) all the way to the bottom. People can’t see these sections unless they scroll down. https://jumpshare.com/v/lcje33OiYPZXqVUNIHAN 2. On jobs page jobs are pushed down, When you click on a specific job, the job title takes up the whole space and pushes everything else down, even on contact page it is the same thing. Why is that? https://jumpshare.com/v/LEXH1QeF26L3RsCcLcdW https://jumpshare.com/s/NkgLwlvOdC3tgYBhjYQc 3. On the login page, the social login options are hidden; users have to scroll down to see them. https://jumpshare.com/v/QmZLRcmiMIRptrJWoPMj 4. For jobs with external applications, when you click “Go to Job Site,” it says “Applied successfully” and then redirects to the external link. Why does it say “Applied successfully”? This creates confusion—instead, it should just take the user directly to the link. https://jumpshare.com/v/46k4Dd6jwpPa1vaijTDl*Are there any fixes available for the issues mentioned above?
5.The demo doesn’t seem to have Ajax live search. Is it turned off, or is it not included by default?
6. Are the plugins installed and displayed in the admin panel included for free with Jobcy?
7. Can employers add an email address as a job application method, or are on-site and off-site URL applications the only available options?
8. Is there an infinite scroll or “load more” pagination option?
Thank you.
Hi,
1. Actually, it’s our design. We can support you to reduce that space using CSS in Appearance → Custom CSS if you need.
2. You can reduce that breadcrumb height in Appearance → Theme options → Breadcrumb or using custom CSS.
3. It has many fields in registration page, we have to scroll to see all options, we have no choice in this case.
4. We will change this message to prevent confusing in the next version, please wait.
5. We don’t have Ajax live search in this script for now. We will consider it in future versions.
6. Yes, those plugins are included in the download package, it will be the same 100% as our demo site, you don’t need to pay any extra fees.
7. We don’t have this option for now. Just can apply directly or via off site URL.
8. No, we don’t have this option in our script.
Pagination may seem old, but it’s still very useful.
With infinite scroll, if you want to go to page 20, you have to scroll and wait for each page to load one by one — which can be slow and frustrating. With regular pagination, you can just click directly on page 20.
Also, while “Load more” or infinite scroll can look nicer, it’s not always good for SEO. Search engines may not see all the content if it only loads while scrolling. It also makes it harder for users to go back to a specific page or share a direct link.
That’s why we recommend keeping the standard pagination — it’s better for both SEO and user experience.
I want to develop an Android an IOS app for my website. What I’m thinking is that some updates might remove certain APIs. These APIs, which are available in the admin panel, should be usable in both the Android app and iOS functions. GIVE ME A GOOD WAY FOR THAT

Dear Botble Team Good day
Your good jobs are hihgly appreciated, we have request to discuss in details, could you contact us via atseagroup@gamil.com
Kind regards AtSea Team
Hi,
Please email us contact@botble.com your questions, our team will answer you.
Dear Botble Team,
Good day.
I hope this message finds you well. We recently purchased the JOBCY script and are very impressed with its capabilities. As we proceed with customizing the platform for our marine company job board, we require additional functionality to meet our specific needs.
We understand that the Custom Fields plugin for Botble CMS would allow us to:
Add custom fields to pages, job listings, and candidate profiles
Create field groups with conditional display rules
Utilize various field types (text, select, repeater, etc.)
Seamlessly integrate custom data into our theme templates
However, we were unable to locate this plugin in the script marketplace. Could you kindly provide guidance on how to obtain it? Specifically, we need to:
Enhance job vacancy listings with additional fields (e.g., vessel type, contract duration).
Customize seafarer application profiles (e.g., certifications, maritime experience).
Your prompt assistance in clarifying the availability of this plugin—or recommending an alternative solution—would be greatly appreciated, as it is critical for our project timeline.
Thank you for your support. We look forward to your swift response.
Best regards,
Dear Botble Team We are still waiting for your good advice and comments in regard to the “CUSTOM FIELD” Plugin. Please give information to proceed further with the implementation of our project. We are waiting for your good answer already more than 2 days, we had contact you via email and here as well 9 hours ago. Woudl you be so kind to give your good advice and solve the problem with the plugin that was described in documenation but couldn’t be found so far. Looking forward for your nice soonest reply
Hi,
Plugin Custom Fields is just available in Botble CMS version, it’s not available in Jobcy.
If you need it, you have to buy it from here https://codecanyon.net/item/botble-cms-php-platform-based-on-laravel-framework/16928182
This Custom Fields plugin doesn’t powerful as your requirements.
You should check what we have for this plugin on our demo site https://cms.botble.com/admin/custom-fields
And this plugin requires coding skill, if you don’t have coding skills, you can’t use it.
Check documentation for it on https://docs.botble.com/cms/plugin-custom-field.html
Subject: Complaint About Misleading JOBCY Script Features – Request for Resolution
Dear Botble Team,
We purchased JOBCY Script based on the description implying full customization, including Custom Fields—a feature highlighted in Botble CMS. However, we later discovered:
The Custom Fields plugin is not included in JOBCY and must be bought separately.
Its use requires coding skills, contrary to the advertised ease of customization.
This critical limitation was not clearly stated before purchase.
Our Request: Update the product description to avoid misleading future buyers.
Compensate us by either:
Providing the Custom Fields plugin for free,
Issuing a partial refund, or
Offering technical support for integration.
We expect your immediate reply to resolve this fairly.
Sincerely, AtSea Team
Hi,
Sorry, but we never say that we have a custom field plugin for this script.
This job board script won’t include a plugin from another script.
Hope that you can understand this.
Hello,
I recall seeing an option on the Employer Dashboard some time ago regarding setting the duration for “Jobs About to Expire” notifications.
Could you please guide me on where I can adjust the duration for these expiring job alerts to ensure that section appears on the dashboard?
To clarify, I’m referring to the job duration setting that appears specifically on the Employer Dashboard, which seems to differ from the custom duration option found under Admin > Settings > Job Board > General.
Thank you!
Hi,
Sorry, we don’t have a setting for this at now.
It will show all jobs which will be expired within the next 30 days in this section.
We will consider adding a setting for this in the next version.
Ok nice am waiting for that.
This script currently only has 3 levels of location, the lowest level is only the city, which is far from enough. Many apps on the market currently have 5 levels of location, which have been refined to country > state/province > city > district/county > street, so I hope that the next version update can refine the location to 5 levels. At least there should be 4 levels of location to district/county.
Hi,
Sorry, we don’t have an option to make this change from the admin panel for our script.
It requires code customization to make this change. Please customize our code to make it as you need.
Hi, I noticed you have two job site scripts — Jobcy and JobBox. I’ve explored the admin panel, user accounts, employer dashboards, and features of both. They seem very similar in functionality, with only a difference in design style. I’m a bit confused about which one to purchase. Could you please explain the key differences between Jobcy and JobBox, if any? Are there any major distinctions I should be aware of?
Hi,
JobBox is using the same core as Jobcy. JobBox is just different in front theme UI.
JobBox is developed by our partner Archi Elite. All features are the same Jobcy.
Just buy the one which you think it has better UI.
which sql with the new version. database-Jobzilla.sql or database.sql
Hi,
database.sql is for https://jobcy.botble.com and database-jobzilla.sql is for https://jobzilla.botble.com
Please check our demo site and decide which theme you want to use.
Hi Botble,
I have to agree with sagehamisi: During registration, it must be clearly distinguishable whether it’s for an employer or an employee account. A modal window with the option to select “Employer” or “Jobseeker” would be very helpful.
Once all the data has been entered and the user clicks on “Register,” this window should appear and ask what type of account is being created. At the moment, this step is unfortunately easy to overlook and often leads to incorrect registrations.
Hi,
We have just released Jobcy again to improve registration form.
Please go to Admin → Platform administration → System updater and click on button “Re-install the latest version”.
Then you will have this:
https://prnt.sc/0xxrFihum2S5 https://prnt.sc/0Evv83PH74FGPerfect!
Thank you.
A new version (1.20.6 / released on 2025-06-10) is available to update, please go to System Updater to upgrade to the latest version!
I have updated but the feature that I was counting on is not there for registration that when a customer registers there should be a Jobseeker and Employer mark so that when they register they know what type of account they are creating. I have had this case for a while now, many jobseekers are registering as employers which is disturbing.

I loved that more perfectly on registration form thanks
You’ve been waiting for new updates for a month now, when will you update?
Hi,
We will release a new version next week. Please wait.
Hi, can I integrate with jobg8? Regards
Hi,
Sorry, we don’t have jobg8 integration in our script.
You will need to customize our code in platform/plugins/job-board or create a new plugin to integrate jobg8.
Hello botble Team,
i would like to suggest improving the Admin Dashboard widgets to better reflect the needs of a job portal. The current dashboard shows general metrics such as number of topics, users, plugins, or pages – but these are not very relevant for job board operations. Instead, it would be much more useful to display job-related KPIs, such as:
-Total Jobs
-Active Jobs
-Expired Jobs
-Pending Jobs
-Total Employers / Companies
-Total Candidates
-Earnings
-Total Earnings
-Popular Locations
-Most Applied Jobs
These are the kinds of statistics that provide real value to admins and help them manage the platform efficiently.
A more job-focused dashboard would significantly improve the user experience and make the admin panel much more actionable.
Would it be possible for Botble to implement a more relevant, job-oriented dashboard in a future update?
Hi,
Actually, we don’t want to make changes in the default dashboard.
We have added a report page for job board in Admin → Job Board → Reports.
https://jobcy.botble.com/admin/job-board/reports https://prnt.sc/WLFzjMyFiC3OIt will be released soon, please wait about 1 – 2 weeks.
Hi, thanks for the very quick response and implementation. A report page fulfills its purpose 100%. Great work! Other authors should really learn from you.
Thank you.
hello,
i have actual one problem on my site, after creation an account and click on verify link in the email, i get an 403 error, so nobody can verify his email address.
have you an idea how to fix?
Hi,
That error 403 from your hosting, not our script.
This issue is not happening on our other customer sites.
I think that verify URL has special character and secret token, so it’s blocked by your hosting provider.
Please contact your hosting provider and provide that link to check and unblock it.
Dear Support Team
If a candidate wants to share their profile link with someone, they currently have no way to know their public profile URL directly. The only method is to go to the Candidates page and navigate through hundreds of profiles to find their own, which is inefficient.
Could you please add a “Preview” button that allows the candidate to view their own public profile directly (only if public profile enabled in user account settings)? This would make sharing the link much easier.
Additionally, I would like to suggest another important feature: a verification icon. This icon should only be assignable by an admin after the user has verified their identity, for example, by uploading a photo of their ID, visiting a verification center, or completing any other identity verification process. This will help the companies to avoid fake accounts, spending time and stress…
Thank you for your support Warm regards
Hi,
We will consider those features.
Thanks for your suggestions!
Hello, congratulations on your great work. However, I would like to request some adjustments to the account registration section for Employers and Job Seekers.
Please ensure that when a user registers, the selection between “Employer” and “Job Seeker” is clearly available and not automatically assigned. It should not be mandatory for a user to be marked as either an Employer or Job Seeker by default.
Many users, especially Job Seekers, make mistakes during registration and end up unable to access the correct type of account. As a result, they miss out on job search services.
It would be helpful to make the distinction between Employer and Job Seeker accounts clear during registration, so that users are aware of what type of account they are creating. This would greatly improve the user experience.
IN SHORT KEEP A MARK IN REGISTING FORM AS EMPLOYER OR JOBSEEKER AND NOT A CHECK AS EMPLOYER ONLY! ‘JOBCY’
Hi,
We will consider it in future versions.
Thanks for your suggestion!
Ok I am eagerly waiting.
Hello, I’ve noticed that both the search bar and the “Search” button are not functioning — neither on the demo site (https://jobzilla.botble.com/homepage-4) nor on my own installation. I would appreciate it if this issue could be resolved as soon as possible.
Thanks.
Hi,
We have just released our script again to fix this issue on Jobzilla theme.
Please go to Platform administration → System updater and click on button “Re-install the latest version”. It should be fixed after that.
Thanks for your feedback!
There’s something still bothering me about my website. All the URLs indexed by search engines include the /public/ folder—meaning the structure follows the main URL, then /public/, then the specific route (e.g., /jobs). I don’t understand what is causing this and how to fix it.
For example, the link looks like this: https://mydomain.com/public/jobs/the-salvation-in-usaI need help removing /public/ from the URL structure, as it’s disrupting the system and affecting how the links are displayed and accessed.
where may i fix this
Hi,
Our script is based on Laravel framework, so the root folder is /public, we redirect visitors to /public using .htaccess file.
If your domain is not the main domain and use can set document root for that domain to /public folder, then it won’t have /public on the URL, the same as our demo site.
If you can’t set document root for your domain, please check our article on https://botble.com/rename-theme-in-botble-cms to remove /public completely from the URL.
If you can’t do this, please create a ticket on our support center https://botble.ticksy.com and give us access to your hosting, our dev team will do it for you.
