Having a lot of problems trying to compile the project for emulator or phone. Struggling with Agora related errors for days now. I don’t understand how this recieved all the great reviews but when actually trying to use it there are nothing but errors. Looks like other people are having similar problems. Haven’t even started to customize for my purposes yet, Can’t get the base code to work.

If you’re encountering errors related to the Agora package, it is likely because your project is running on Flutter 3.29.x. Currently, SocialV does not support Flutter 3.29.x. We recommend downgrading your Flutter version to 3.27.x and trying again.

Man, I thought it was perfect, the only thing missing is a Date feature, like Tinder. Are you thinking of adding something like Tinder? I think it helps with engagement on the platform.

Hello, At the moment, we don’t have a Flutter app integrated with a Laravel backend. However, this product is compatible with a WordPress backend.
This system is extremely bad, I have been trying to create the apk for 2 days and no matter how many errors I fix in the code, more keep coming out, from multiple configurations with more than 6 different types of kotlin versions to incompatibilities with the flutter version and even if I try to use flutter 2.27 it keeps giving more and more problems, it is a domino effect, you fix one problem and 3 new ones pop up, I really doubt that this system will work correctly… please refund the money

I have purchased the license for the socialv flutter app. I downloaded the source code from the provided link and ran the flutter app on my machine. The endpoint urls are defined in a constants file. Then I updated the domain URL to use my API. However, when I go to the wp-json/ endpoint of the API, I don’t see the most of the endpoints of the app listed there. I get 404 on most of them. The code also seems to break when I make a change. So by far, I haven’t been able to even register a new user, see the dashboard properly, search items etc. and the issue mentioned has become a blocker.
Kindly assist me with these and let me know if I’ve missed something related to the setup. Thanks.
It looks like the issue is related to missing API endpoints after updating the domain URL in the constants file.
You should only update the domain URL in the configuration, not individual API endpoint paths. The app dynamically constructs API requests using the base domain. If you’ve modified specific endpoint paths, please revert those changes to their original values.

No, users cannot post polls as of now.
Few details needed:
1. If SocialV web disabled, will the site loads with the default installed theme? 1.a. what are displayed on the default installed theme (user posts (img/video/etc), blogs, forum, user profiles, chat, etc)? 1.b. Can users share blogs for pre-defined categories or can users create their own categories?
2. Can I use the both SovialV for user experience & a wordpress theme for the website frontend.(users will share blogs via the SocialV interface, but categorized blogs should be displayed on the website)? OR SocialV blogs/ user feeds should be visible to all guests.(guests should view all blog / user feeds without login). Is it possible?
3. If I installed third-party storage plugin, all uploaded videos & files on SocialV will be saved on the third-party storage, Right? Even uploading videos & files from the app also be saved on the third-party storage?
A-1) Our SocialV theme includes many built-in functionalities, so some features may not be available in other themes.
A-1.a) Yes, our theme supports user posts (images/videos/etc.), blogs, forums, user profiles, chat, etc.
A-1.b) If you want all users to share blogs, you will need to use a third-party plugin.
A-2) In both of our products, only admins can share blogs.
If you’re referring to activity posts, users’ feeds can be seen without login on the website. However, in the app, this is not possible.
A-3) Sorry, but both of our products are based on BuddyPress, and BuddyPress does not support storing data in external storage.

Hello, please I have two non-technical question and I will greatly appreciate your question. I want to know if the web version of this app can work even if I have completed the setup of the mobile apps. What I mean is this: I hired a mobile team, but they are stuck with apple store, but I want them to completely deploy the web version so I can at least test the functionalities over the web pending while the app will be functional later. Please can the buddypress web version go live , even when I am not done setting up the mobile apps?
My second question is: I notice there is another theme for the web version, must I buy the second theme before I can make us of the buddypress web version for the social community?

2) With our socialv theme we set design and many other functionality which you can use but if you want to use any default theme then you can use it your buddy-press will be work properly but many functionality which we provide with our socialv theme they you do not get.

why do I always get a pod install error when running your app after flutter pub get .. this happens every time and im tired of asking for a fix .. make the fix public .. which files do I delete in order for this to stop happening? when running the pod update that isn’t fixing it .. I used to see our developers delete the symlinks and the pod folder but im not trying to do that and screw something up .. please clarify the fix publically
This issue typically occurs due to changes in iOS dependencies. You can resolve it by deleting the Podfile.lock and running pod install again. If necessary, clearing Flutter’s cache with flutter clean and updating pods can also help resolve the issue without deleting symlinks or the entire pod folder.

I found a recent error that’s preventing the apps update yesterday in the latest social v release, there isn’t any documentation about it and i have admit completely disabled in the Wordpress dashboard so admit is not needed. I have also actually added the admob code in the main.dart just incase and it’s still flagging the fun every time.

I see so many other people having a horrible experience just like me. and this is not acceptable at all none of the issues promised to be fixed are fixed and the messenger is so slow eventhough I have a 500mbps fiber optic download and upload signal from my sip. and I have a fully dedicated server.

I just paid for a 2nd license and you are going to quit playing these games with me .. I demand that the problems with this app be addressed immediately .. you forced me to get another license to get support but my ticket is now 25 days no resolution
1. the social v plugin stripe doesent have the correct words up there strip api public and secret .. your words are all wrong and confusing UNRESOLVED
2. the firebase terms are also backwards ios is android and android is iOS but then you get an attitude when I clarify it UNRESOLVED
3. the agora engine files also still have MAJOR problems.. this errors are nonsense .. they all pop up when I submit to testflight and you downplay it like oh its just a notice NO IQONIC FIX IT ADDRESS IT NOW AFTER MONTHS – UNRESOLVED
4. the uploading videos and audio for the posts doesent work!!! FIX THIS NOW ! you update didnt fix anything thats why your quiet about it. right is right and wrong is wrong – UNRESOLVED
5. and more than anything WHERE IS THE CALL OR GROUP CALL BUTTON ON THE APP CHAT its not there i even have the better messages pro $14 per month wasted for nothing .. they even have a better messages app with call yours is not there .. there is a simple and easy agora streaming sdk with the full ui kit.. if you dont know how then just add tencent cloud sdk. DO SOMETHING .. as of now your false advertising. the product isent as described. uNRESOLVED
6. the gifting and points is not on the app this is crazy WHY WOULD you claim to have a full Gamipress integration when none of this works.. as in 90% – I GAVE YOU THE GAMIPRESS REST API PLUGIN AND STILL UNRESOLVED. instead of properly integrating it. you send me code to add which doesn’t work
7. why did you not fix all of these outdated libraries and deprecated dependencies that are no longer being maintained .. then you make an excuse saying your forking them but nothing is happening.? still old . replace them with something current. this is serious its not a joke

instead of sending snippets why didn’t they send the full txt of the pages including revisions to avoid mistakes on both ends. why?
1. the stripe api keys should have been fixed 5 updates ago – still nothing 2. there is still an error in the firebase configuration where your referring to iOS where android should be im 105% sure. your team has already admitted it 3. the agora integration is very incomplete not even including the live feature but the implementation of agora is causing these errors .. and they should not be there im using he library with other apps and im not getting these annoying notices. it shouldn’t be 4. the audio and video are not fully functional I’ve tested the November update .. still buggy and still missing icons .. and still slow as ever with a fully dedicated server. 5. they sent snippets of code and not the full pages with exact direction location so I can copy paste .. their explanation is unclear. it should be in the code not sent to me like that .. it should work out the box with out intervention. 6. the gifting needs some serious help I’ve provided he missing key in your operation for free which is the rest apiece module . . why is it taking you so long to fix this . I EXPECT this to all work in he next update. 7. the newer versions ive tried to force update and they are not compatible with your current source code .. but that still doesn’t explain the depricated libraries that are no longer supported ..
I need an exact update .. I got a chargeback from investors because of this huge negligence.. do you know what that means.? ive explained it to your team several times.
