Secondly, I did not add the actual payment inside the app because users can post items that are usually really expensive (like cars, land or houses) and nobody would actually pay this amount through an application. I will add this functionality in the app only as custom development.

Well, I already added multiple deployment scripts that can work with multiple VPS machines and currently there is no need of any visual panels. For the moment, these will be the supported deployment options from my side.

With every new update, Biddo looks more advanced, Congrats. I understand you’re available part-time for development. I liked a lot the new user dashboard layout when login. I wished there was an option instead of a gallery view mod but also has a list view mod in the user’s profile dashboard. Biddo has a box-shaped thumb, and I was wondering how difficult to change the width of the thumbs.
In the demo, I selected the preferred categories But “You might like” it isn’t working or showing
Can you add more coins to my demo account, because I can’t test the auction’s workflow from beginning to end. My demo account is “Todd”. Did you add the option in the admin for the highest bidder win, like eBay, etc?
In creating an auction area would be great if you could add an option for users to pick “Classified Ads mod” or “Buy now”. To me, it’s the same thing 
Local pickup, etc. Another cool feature of the create auction area to allow in the “Description” to have #Hashtags and @Admin

Hello before I purchase I have a few presale questions.
1): Does this product offer SEO settings and Optimization to allow for SEO for web?
2): This product is the closest product we have found in terms of what we are looking for, however we would like the added options; Direct Buy Price (Sellers can set a buy now price for auction stuff, similar to how ebay does it where people can still bid on the product or buy it now for a set price), Shipping Options – Similiar to how ebay functions where when someone purchases something from ebay a prepaid shipping label is generated for the seller. How do we contact you to add customization for stuff like this?
3): Does admin have the option to set commission fees? For example when a auction is completed and payment is made, the site would take a % of earnings?

1. The web app is built in NextJS, which comes by default with SEO optimizations. Obviously, you will need to change the titles or description of the pages if they do not match with your actual business

Thank you for your feedback. It was indeed a lot of work involved.
Currently, the users are not doing the actual purchase inside the platform. As there is the possibility to post big and expensive items (like houses and cars), I did not want to force the users to do the payment through the platform. After an auction is won, the auction owner and the auction winner can communicate and setup the preffered payment method themselves.
This can be implemented as custom development or ofcourse, you can extends the application yourself if you want to.

Thanks for you reply, about the Mobile app. Is this the same application as the desktop version or differant code? If we make custom changes to the web app, do we need to make them to mobiel app aswell?
The web application and the mobile app are different. The web app is written in NextJS (React) and the mobile app is Flutter. (They both use the same NodeJS server)
So, if you add a new functionality in the web app and you also need it in the mobile app, you need to add it in the mobile app as well.
The web app si quite responsive though, so I guess it’s your choice if you want the mobile app as well.

One more suggested change – Currently, the location is auto-selected by maps at the time of adding an item for auction, and the user cannot manually enter a particular location while adding an item for auction. While auto-selection of the current location by the application is good, the user should be able to edit/change the location manually if he/she wishes to do so by typing in the location details and the maps API pick it up from there.

The location can actually be changed to any city in the world. You can even set a location to your profile and that location will be used when you create an auction.

I’m sorry, but this is not a bug. It is a functionality that does not exist yet. A bug is something that should work in a specific way and it does not.

If you can access the admin panel, you probably installed it correctly, so no need to worry.
You are probably logged in inside the admin panel using the read only user. Inside the NodeJS server, in your ”.env” file (“ecosystem.config.cjs” file if you’re using this to run the server), you can find these properties:
ADMIN_EMAIL=
ADMIN_PASSWORD=
READONLY_EMAIL=
READONLY_PASSWORD=
Make sure you are using the email set at ADMIN_EMAIL in order to sign in into the admin panel.

I know I said that I would add Razorpay as a payment gateway and it seems that if I don’t have an indian phone number, I cannot activate my Razorpay and test the integration. Until I fix this, I have added a Paypal payment integration. I hope this is enough for you at the moment…
Actually, no…Paypal is used rarely in India. In India, UPI is the primary channel these days and service providers like Razorpay and PhonePe offer a combo of both UPI as well Credit Cards integrated in their PG, and hence the request to you to either add PhonePe or RazorPay as a PG
Hopefully I will manage to create an account on Razorpay and implement the integration. It might take around 2 or 3 weeks because I have some other problems with higher priority to solve right now. I sincerely hope you understand and have some patience until this is implemented.

Yes, sure. Inside the admin app, you have the possibility to “edit” any user. Whenever you enter the edit mode, you can update the “coins” property of that specific user.
The coupons functionality sounds nice. How would you see this functionality behaving?

I know it’s quite a different deployment than a PHP one, but I included a deployment script that you only need to update a bit in order to work on your own server.
I don’t quite understand the question about the PostgreSQL database. All you need to have, is an empty database configured somewhere. After you have the necessary requirements, the server is going to deal with the creation of the tables and the seed data in the database.
