Hello, I’ve got a presale question about the plugin. I am building a website for a customer. He has an online shop where he will show the price for some brands, but for others he will show the ‘Request a quote’ button.

Can the plugin be set up to work like this?

Thank you.

Hi Stefen1

Any update on this ?

Hi there,

This is a pre-sale question.

We need a request quote plugin for our some demands:

1. display “request a quote” button on the product page for the specific variable product, also it could hide the “add to cart” button, which means “request a quote” button could instead of “add to cart” button. And also we could customize the text of the “request a quote” button.

2. click the “request a quote” button will show a popup to link a form which allows customers to fill in the email and some contact information, like phone number. And the quote form could created by Quform if possible or the plugin comes with a form builder.

3. Email notification for admin and customer if possible.

4. WPML compatible.

5. We don’t need quote to cart function and also we don’t need to show “request a quote” button on shop page, only show the button on the product page.

6. Is the plugin always updated and compatible with the latest version Wordpress and WooCommerce?

Thanks.

I forgot one point, we don’t need to hide the product price

Hi,

Thank you for your interest and comment.

1. Yes, it’s possible.

2. We have a built-in “Request a Quote” page. You can fully customize it to meet your requirements, including adding, removing, or editing input fields, labels, and placeholders.

3. This feature is already available.

4. Yes, it is fully functional.

5. You can manage button visibility through the settings—show or hide them as needed.

6. You can view the latest changelog for recent updates.

For more information, feel free to contact us at motifdev@gmail.com. Best regards, Team MotifCreatives

Hi, is this plugin compatibile with Elementor ?? Is there option how to integrate R-a-Quote button in custom single product design layout ??

You’re welcome!

If you want to show the “Request a Quote” button for entire product categories, no problem — we can handle that too. We can set it up so that all products within specific categories automatically display the quote button, without needing to add the shortcode manually for each one.

Just let us know the category names or IDs, and we’ll guide you through the setup or assist with customization if needed.

Best regards, Motif Team

Thanks again for fast replay !!! We see on plugin page that is option to setup only for specific categorys (and this is OK for us!) and we suppose that is all OK when Woocommerce is on “factory settings” – but when we have custom Elementor layout for all single products, how this gone: all products have add to cart button excerpt products from this two category, and we in this case nead some shortcode to put it in custom layout to show dinamicly – only in products from this two category…I hope you understand me better now. My question is: in our case, what is code to put in custom layout ?? That is our dilema :-)

Thanks again for the detailed explanation — yes, now we understand you perfectly!

Since you’re using custom Elementor layouts, and want to dynamically show the quote button only for specific categories, you can use this small shortcode block with a conditional check using Elementor’s dynamic tags or a small PHP snippet via shortcode widget.

[request-a-quote-if-category categories=”category-slug-1,category-slug-2”]

This will only show the quote button if the current product belongs to one of the specified categories.

Alternatively, if your plugin doesn’t have this feature built-in, we can provide a small custom shortcode that checks the product category dynamically and displays the button only for matching categories.

Let us know your category slugs or IDs, and we’ll send you the exact code to use in Elementor.

Best regards, Motif Team

Hello, I’ve bought the Request a Quote plugin. I need a phone field in the request form. Is it possible to add it?

Yes, use loco translate plugin.

Yes but I don’t see the email text

Then add the translated string when you create the field.

Hi there! I’m interested in purchasing the plugin but have a quick question first. I’d like to enable the “Quote” button for only a few specific products. I noticed that the instructions mention the ability to exclude products, but I’m actually looking to do the opposite – to select specific products where I want the button to appear. Is this possible with the plugin?

    Hi,

Thank you for your comment and interest.

Yes, it is possible to add a quote button for specific products. You can proceed, as it is 100% functional and meets your requirements.

    Best regards, Team Motif Creatives

    Hi

In this comment (https://codecanyon.net/comments/29339377) you said “Yes, you can add any fields you want. Yes, possible to use Cf7 and gravity forms.”.

We need to add more fields to the quote form. How can we do it?

If we can’t add new fields (without changing the php code) to the quote form this plugin is not suitable for what we need.

We bought because of this comment!

    Thanks.

Yes we said possible but with customization. You can check cart and quote plugin and the functionality is already available to add custom fields.

    Regards

    Hi again!

Sorry don’t understand! You saying we have to buy another plugin to be possible adding new fields without custom php code?

    Thanks

No, you can just buy cart and request to quote plugin

I recently added the “Advanced Request a Quote” plugin to my WooCommerce site. It works on product pages but not on static pages with a custom “Add to Cart” button. Could you guide me on enabling the “Add to Quote” button on these static pages?

    Hi.

Really sorry to hear that, unfortunately when we used custom pages it may cause few issues as custom pages don’t uses the default WooCommerce hooks.

But you can share your logins at motifdev@gmail.com so we can see and fix it.

    Regards

Hello, where can I set up the email template and SMTP? I don’t see this in the plugin settings. Then, I would like to ask if I can see the customer’s Quote data in the background. Is it compatible with contact form 7?

We need to google recaptcha or other recaptcha, otherwise we will be attacked by spam every day. Are you considering adding more? Or compatible with contact form 7, contact form 7 has google recaptcha plug-in. thanks, wait for you.

I found the email sent by the plug-in. It was my own problem. I changed the email address without confirming it. Now WordPress must confirm the email address before it can be changed.

Okay, if you still have any issues please let us know

Good plugin – there were a few things that needed sorting out to get it to work and the developer was very quick to help out.

hi, what I need is a shortcode so I can add a button to “Request a Quote” in different pages, posts or widgets. (Linking to the products I want) Is this possible ?

For example something like this [yith_ywraq_button_quote product=”2214”]

(I saw that in some plugins like Yith Qoocommerce Request a quote” is possible Thanks, Francisco

Hi! I see that the shortcode you offer is to show ALL the products in one “request quote page” . What I also need is to put different “request quotes” buttons in different pages, the shortcode should be connected to the product ID I want.

For example in page “x” i want to put a shortcode where people can see a button to request a quote about product ID = 543:

custon shortcodes for the products IDs I want

    Thanks, Francisco

Hi Francisco. I guess you get the last comment wrong. It’s not for displaying all quote products, It’s for only a single product to add to the quote list. I hope you understand.

You can add a shortcode with product id (specific product id) as an argument and it will display a quote button to add that specific product to the cart.

I hope all is clear now. Still have any question email us at motifdev@gmail.com

    Regards

It’s the same as what you had explain above.
