On the customers list every customer that has “0” under total orders, shows their “Total Spend” at $1,650,719.70. How can we fix this?
Are you using custom order statuses? Unfortunately, without further clue,s it is quite hard to determine the cause and suggest you a solution.
If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- your email address
- full admin access to the wp-admin area
- FTP access
- A detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue
I can perform some further tests to see if it is possible to determine the cause.
NOTE: all the requested points are mandatory, do not forget to report any of them.
Thank you for your collaboration.
I just purchased this plugin and when I tried to upload to WP, Wordfence blocked it because of suspicion of malware/malicious code. This has never happened with any plugin in 5 years, so it is a little concerning. Can you please explain this?
The plugin has a minor issue related to the role-assigned function until version 30.7: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/5cjvnq2zezbraiprzbg6w/wccm_notice.png?rlkey=czoa1p0sdniyjba2jjp2b59f9&dl=0
It was noticed 3 days ago, but I promptly released the new 30.8 that addresses it.
Then the plugin version is just downloaded 11 hours ago would have been the updated version, mo?
check the version in the Plugins page. In case you have still the 30.7, you should get the update notification: https://nimb.ws/AFgoD1W
You can also manually redownload from codecanyon. To manually update: deactivate, delete the old plugin and just install the new one! Don’t worry, you won’t lose any data!
Hi, Please share some tutorial video of your plugin through which I can manage the store users.
Regards, Rohit Verma.
Hi,
I’m sorry video tutorials are not available.
Question – if I buy this plugin, after installation, which admin-type user has access to this new customer area – like in the demo? Is it just Admin and Shop Manager? I want to restrict the Admin I give this to so that they can only see what your demo has, but I still want them to be able to edit and publish site pages. Thanks.
Hi,
yes, admin and shop manager only. If you wish to restrict to only admin, once purchased, I can suggest how to modify the plugin to achieve that!
Hi unfortunately your plugin is not working and breaking my site at instockgems.com
It has been fine but after the last update 30.7 it hasn’t. I actually went back to version 30.6 and still nothing. Something is broken.
I always send invoices and estimates to my customers and I’m in the process of switching from Sliced Invoice to Sprout Invoices, not sure if that has anything to do with it or not but I hope you can help me fix it.
Here is temporary login if you’d like. I greatly appreciate it!
Brent Wallace
Hi,
I’m sorry, but it sounds very strange. The latest update just fixed an issue related to the order details page. The previous version was performing a wrong SQL query. It was however a visual thing, even if not working doesn’t prevent any other script to work.
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );reperform the test and see if more clues are reported in the debug.log located in the wp-content folder. If there is any reference to plugin scripts, I can take a further look and fix it.
Thank you
Hi,
We use “Automatic guest conversion – Checkout page”. How to set email subject of the email “Send an email with login credentials after an automatic conversion?”
Best,
Hi,
for this kind of support, you need to have a valid support license associated with your account.
The plugin is broken. Here’s the error, page won’t open, NEED QUICKLY PLEASE! Thank you, Brent.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 805306368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 134217736 bytes) in /home/customer/www/instockgems.com/public_html/wp-content/object-cache.php on line 256
site: https://instockgems.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=woocommerce-customers-manager
Hi,
the plugin is not broken. That error message seems to indicate that your server is out of memory running the wp-content/object-cache.php script. That script is not part of the WooCommerce Customer Manager plugin.
Ensure that your server is properly equipped to manage the order and user dataset of your WooCommerce installation.
I am unable to activate my previously purchased WooCommerce Customers Manager plugin after updating to the latest version
Ensure to be using a fully HMTL5 browser like Chrome or Firefox and that no other 3rd party plugin is interfering with the activation process.
Ensure also that you have not consumed the two domain activations.
After a few years of usage, the plugin will not be updated, because my support license has passed in 2019? Within the error message wa link to renew the support. Why after a few years? I have renewed my support, but the plugin still shows this error message below, when I want to update it. Have I paid 29 $ for nothing?
Aktualisierung fehlgeschlagen: The support license has expired on August 25, 2019, 12:36 am, please renew it by clicking here to continue receiving automatic updates. Your contribution would support the development of the plugin and I would greatly appreciate it.
That is the requirement for the automatic uploader, a new feature introduced in the latest version.
It allows you to update the plugin via the Plugins area, instead of manually downloading from CodeCanyon. The support license keeps the plugin development alive and supports me and my family in my job. It costs a few dollars and is tax deducible and I would deeply appreciate it.
If you do not wish to use that feature, there is no problem. You can manually update the plugin to the latest version as you have always done: just deactivate and delete the plugin then redownload from codecanyon and install it. You won’t lose any data when performing those actions.
Now I have paid for new support and will have an automatic upload or will you refund?
Thank you, I really appreciate it. Yes you can automatically update via the Plugins area.
I also have a customer who is trying to login and the lost password is not working. Thank you, Brenr
Hi, how do I send the login information to an existing customer? I believe I have done that in the past but I don’t see where to do so anymore. I thought there was a link in the adminbar.
I’m a wholesaler and I already have my customers added. Here’s a screenshot of my settings. Screenshot: https://app.screencast.com/XDYCJPIocSV0C
Thank you, Brent
P.S. I don’t want an automatic email send when creating a new account. I only want to send it MANUALLY.
Hi,
that’s a feature of WooCommerce, not of the WooCommerce Customers Manager. For an existing user, you can only send a reset link via the Users -> user details page: https://nimb.ws/6cg9RCu
WooCommerce doesn’t store passwords in the database (for security reasons), but it’s md5. So if the customer loses the login data, he has to reset the previous password.
hi, i try to use the plugin i purchase in 2006, but not work
say this Max number of domains reached! You have to purchase a new license. The current license has been activated in the following domains: unzion, elmusico
I need activate to my new site, in tbendice.com
do you can delete using in elmusico this not exist more fews years ago.
Please.
Hi,
The Envato usage license policy allows you to use the software in only one end product (website), not one end product at a time. This means that licenses cannot be migrated from one product to another.
The associated domain uniquely identifies websites once you register a domain that will become the end product for which you are licensed to use the software.
The plugin activation system, however, allows you to activate the license in two domains (the second one should be for testing purposes). In each domain, you can activate unlimited subdomains and subfolders.
If you have consumed all these options, you will need to buy another license to comply with the Envato usage policy.
Nice trick! You have released 30.4 in order to lock the buyers into it (updating was only possible if inserting the purchase-code), then you release 30.5 which is not possible to update unless you pay for the support, yet the manual download will not install 30.5 and one is stuck with 30.4 forever. Now my dilemma is: should I ask for a refund or file a complaint to Envato to have your product banned for false advertisement?
The verification system has been introduced to limit illegal software distribution and to avoid it being installed on more sites than the ones the license allows.
The automatic update feature requires a valid support license. Support license that costs a few dollars and is tax deducible. It helps me maintain the software and my family. As anyone who works in IT knows that one-time purchase is not enough to keep an activity going. In fact, no other platform offers this business model. All the other sell plugins as a subscription.
In any case, you can still manually download the latest version on CodeCanyon once their approval system publishes the update.
No excuse! If you sell your item with lifetime updates (the one I purchased) you cannot change your mind later on, or if you do you cannot act restrospectively upon old customers but only new ones. Besides, the licence is validated by Envato on the day one buys it (since it’s a paid plugin it cannot be sold without a licence, can it?). I’m saying this because the manual download is not updating, or either is an old file. Check with Envato if they have the right file.
Yes, in fact, you can download the available updates on CodeCanyon lifetime.
If you wish to use the automatic updater, it requires a valid support license (that keeps the plugin alive and supports also my job and my family). If you do not, you do have not to renew.
We are on the same of course, but just check with Envato because I have downloaded again as we are chatting and the latest zip is still not updating to 30.5 but stays on 30.4.
You have now released a 30.6 version but the download is for a 30.5. Either you are one step behind or something is wrong. Can you clarify?
Just updated to the latest version and I was asked to activate the plugin. I have tried with the purchase code shown in Envato but I am told the code is invalid. How do I activate this?
Please ensure you are using a fully HTML5 compliant browser like Chrome or Firefox. Make sure that other plugins do not interfere with the activation process.
Hi there, yep, using the latest version of Chrome, and tried incognito too. I can’t disable plugins just to activate a plugin that was purchased and installed many years ago. Are there any known plugins which interfere?
From my experience, usually the issue depends on 90% of the time because the browser was not properly executing the activation javascript libraries.
When it was depending due to 3rd party interference, users reported that “disabling the other plugins” helped, but never reported specific ones.
Try looking to the browser error console to see if any further clue is reported.
I have rolled it back to the previous version for the moment as it’s a very busy site and I don’t want to have any downtime. I will come back to this but a suggestion would be to change your activation process so that it’s less likely to be impacted by 3rd party scripts, and to find out which scripts/plugins are in conflict. The update has left the plugin in limbo, installed but not actually working, which for a paid for product isn’t good.
The problem that it happens that some plugin includes their javascript file in all admin pages instead of just the pages where they are needed. This could cause the browser’s javascript engine to crash. For this, unfortunately, there isn’t much I can do on my end.
Thank you however for reporting your scenario. I’ll try doing my best for future releases.
Whilst I have been able to update to 30.5 I now can’t automatically update to 30.6. I understand you are telling other people that we now have to manually download updates, or pay to get updates automatically. I agree with everyone else, this sucks, and is very bad practice. All other plugins on Envato are lifetimes AUTOMATIC updates, it’s one of the benefits of using Envato. If I need extra support I will pay for it, but changing your business model is out of order, I will be taking this up with Envato. Shame on you.
Because the automatic updater requires a valid support license, I would like to remember that developing software is not a zero-task activity and I have a family to maintain. Support license supports me in my job and my family, it costs a few dollars and it is tax deducible.
If you do not wish to contribute, you can always download the latest update manually when available.
If you have decided to change your policy on automatic updates I would recommend you update https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-customers-manager/10965432 to reflect this. I understand you need to make money, and you see this as a way to get subscribers, maybe you should be looking at providing premium features for subscribers rather then getting them to pay for something that was free before but now isn’t.
Why do you want an update fee for a product I already bought? I already paid for the license. I wish you had told me in advance if I bought a product with monthly payments!
Because you pay only if you wish to use the automatic updater feature. Paying support my job and my family.
If not, you can always download manually the latest version available on CodeCanyon.
It’s good to know that updates will continue, I guess I misunderstood the warning on the site.
Why do you want an update fee for a product I already bought? I already paid for the license. I wish you had told me in advance if I bought a product with monthly payments!
I have to activate WooCommerce Customers Manager. Where exactly can I find my purchase code?
Hi,
you can find it in your codecanyon profile, under the Download area. When you click the button to download, a menu will open. From there you can download the purchase code.
Hello,
I just bought the plugin, I install it, activate it and when it asks me for the envato user name and the purchase code, it tells me that it is invalid.
Could you help me please
Update: I just tried from a different browser and it worked!
Hello,
glad to read you find a solution. Have a great day!
Hi Vanquish
We have the latest version of the plugin installed.
But our website continues to experience long wait times (several minutes) for the Customers page to display (long for Registered tab and very long for Guest tab).
I have extended the server’s php time-out limits, yet still get frequent ‘bad gateway’ time-out errors.
Is this normal?? Is something incorrect in our plugin settings? Is there some index or something that needs repair and optimization in the DB?
Hi,
I’m sorry but the plugin to elaborate customer data and stats has to perform some computations that unfortunately don’t come at zero cost. For large datasets those computations require an adequate server hardware in order to be properly executed in reasonable times. This is why hosting companies offers several hardware solutions at different costs.
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );reperform the test and see if any error related to the script woocommerce-customers-manager packge.
