I have a few pre-sale questions … what “add to box” and “send to reseller” button do? Seems nothing happens.

the buttons are for demonstration purposes only, you can connect them as you like using simple js scripts if you are implementing a store

Hello, This script is still supported ?

Hi, please write to support@claimconfigurator.com for more details.

Is there a way to select multiple items from one group?

Hi, no by default, but you can handle it by customizing the code.

Pre-purchase questions: 1. Can the base product(snickers in this case) be changed to use any other product and parts?...

Hi, yes. You can start from demo to create new custom configurators.

Hi,

I have a few pre-sale questions before I decide if this product will work for my needs or not, can you please assist?

I am looking for the following functionality.

1. I am making drones, and I am doing the 3d concepts in Solidworks, can I import my own products? If yes, what format do you require?

I need the configurator to display a static images (not 360 degree) of my drone with a handful of accessories as separate item, then let the buyer choose different colors, and features. Just like on Car websites, which they let you build your own car.

As the customer checks boxes for those accessories, they will be added in real time to image of basic quadcopter. I will of course produce all these images myself.

2. I also need this configurator to know the price of each item, so it can generate a quote on the spot, then email it to both A)customer, and B)myself. I assume that I would have control over wording of the generated quotation, so that I can periodically adjust pricing and text.

3. Can I disable the WooCommerce functionality and just have simple quote emails set to me?

4. Can I add just custom fields to the form, like drop downs, checkmarks, textarea and other custom fields that you would normally see in forms?

Thanks

Also, i just noticed this was last updates in 2019. That makes it very outdated… any plans for new updates or this product is abandoned?

Hi, thank you for your interest in our product.

We would like to point out that the product has not been abandoned, but given the simplicity of the code, no updates have been made in recent years.

The product is suitable for programmers who want a base from which to start to create their own configurator.

In response to the questions:

1. Claim uses only images, there is no possibility to associate a 3D model.

2. Claim shows the price for each item selected during setup.

3. Claim is NOT a plugin, but a code to start from to create custom product configurators, so it does not interfere with woocommerce.

4. You can add infinite attributes (color, material, etc.). There are no checkboxes or texarea, but if you are familiar with HTML you can add them yourself.

Best regards, Claim Support

Hi all. Just wanted to leave reply to the dev team. Everything went as it was supposed … and it was really easy to setup the configurator. Take a look if you are interested, https://unitywatches.com/flypilot/

Hi, great work! Claim was developed to allow even less expert users to create product configurators. Did you enjoy working with us? Leave a feedback in reviews page!

The demo shows it takes a while to load. Is there a way to make it load faster?

Hi, the speed depends from the images size. For our demo we used high quality images, therefore in this specific case the website appears few slow, but you can manage the speed of configurator defining the quality of images.

hi, i would like to know how i can edit this and install into a WP theme.

Hi, you can edit Claim as HTML template using just an editor. Then you can display your custom configurator on your website via a frame.

Hello. I am interested in using your App. But I don’t quite understand how the User could send the configuration, either to the seller, or to an email. I have seen in the Demos that you have some Share Buttons … but they are not functional. I have seen that other people have asked the same question, but the answer is not clear to me.

Is there any way to collect the configuration chosen by the user, and send it to a mail ? This is essential for the use I want to give it.

Thank you very much.

Hi, many thanks for your interest about our product. The demo configurator has a template with some functions that you can modify for your needed. As for a lot of html templates, some elements, as “send to resellers” button are just graphics elemets developed for speed your works. If you are a developer you can develop a JS function to send by email the values shown into sumary section. Best regards

Can this script a le to do like this in 3d look.? Please check this link.

https://curtain-roll.com/Black-Out

It’s for curtain roll.

Hi, Claim works allow you to create a configurator starting from images. If you want visualize a 3D you could try to implement an open GL platform. We are available for further suggestions.

This script will support open gl.?

hi, unfortunately we didn’t test it. Claim was born principally to create smart configurator easily, starting images.

Hi! I have to give customer the ability to write a few words on a specific area of the product and to upload a logo that can be moved and resized. Does the plugin support these functions? Thank you. BR

Hi, by default Claim doesn’t provide this function, but if you are a developer you can integrate a simply snippet to do it, since code is fully customizable. Best regards.

Is there developer documentation to help me develop the features I need?

Hi, in the downloadable file you will find a guide to manage the features development. Best regards

hi is invoice available and can be sent to the user for online payment?

Hi, Claim generates automatic invoice during the configuration process. By default there isn’t a function to send the invoice to user, but if you are a developer you could implement this function starting from one of our demo. Best regards

Hello,

Is there an option to add button, so customer can submit request and operator of website will receive an e-mail where he will be able see the contact information of customer and info was customer has chosen.

Best regards

Hi, the configurator collects only the data relating to the configuration of the product but does not send them to the customer, but if you are a developer you could integrate the code for your needs. If you aren’t a developer you could hire a freelancer using Envato Studio Service (https://studio.envato.com/). Best regards

I need to create a sofa, in which the customer will choose patterns for the sofa parts. Is this possible to do? Like this: http://www.multitecida.com.br/simulador-tecimento/moveleiro

Hi, sorry for late reply. Yes, you can do it! Claim is particularly suitable for this type configurator. Start with one of our demos and speed up your work.

Best regards

does Claim feaure product attribute dependencies?

say, if i choose the blue plastic chair there can only be black pillows. but if i choose the green plastic chair there is a black, red and blue pillow to further choose from?

Hi, you can manage anything with Claim. There are currently some attribute dependencies already. For example, if you choose “covered seat” this activates “cover” colors attributes. Starting from this demo you can create your custom dependencies.

Best regards,

Claim support.

thanks!

You are welcome!

whats the use of the ‘catalog’ section? it´d be cool if i clicked on one of the examples (say blue chair) and transfer that style/combination/options into the configurator. otherwise what´s it for?

Hi, the catalog section works like a menu to navigate into your product configurators. For more information please write to support@claimconfigurator.com. Best regards.

OK, thanks!

So can i offer pre-configured products that way? say if i click on the blue plastic chait with grey pilllow it will load the exact custom product? same with red chair and green pillow?

Yes, you can pre-configure different product to sell. The catalog mode allow you to menage different configuration for each product. Best regards

hi there.

will your script generate UNIQUE item numbers dpending on the different options chosen? say “123-blue-1” for a blue chair WITH pillow and “123-red-0” for a red chair WITHOUT pillow?

then i would just need to pass that item number into the cart of my opencart shop via API. but i´d need a UNIQUE item number to identify the INDIVIDUALLY configured product for that to work.

ciao e grazie!

Hi, yes! Claim pass the unique item number for each attribute. Managing the code you can create a unique “composit” number, for example you can create a chair with: Shell(cod.A), Base(cod.B), Color Base(cod.C). The unique item number will be cod. ABC, that is the sum of partial items number. You must add a simply JS function in summary file. Best Regards.

thanks!

Hey, Good Luck with Sales, can I see your documentation about how we can implement that to an existing project? Thanks!

Hi, for more information please write to support@claimconfogurator.com

Hi, I like to know if the options-parts are actual products. So that the product stock will be updated as well

Hi, for more information write to support@claimconfigurator.com
