something that i still don’t understand, does users bring their own api key or do i need to generate my own api key and let users use it ?
It’s a SaaS. That means user buy a subscription service from you where the system automatically generates a license key to use your service. User don’t bring anything.
In the backend, you add your own AI API that will be the main source to connect with OpenAI.

No, that doesn’t come with this one. The extension is connected with the SaaS here. If you want to have the user to use their own OpenAI API key, you get the lowered price extension only

It does but it comes with a production build. If you need a quick and simple tweak like changing the logo or band, that can still be done from VS Code. VS Code can unminify code with just a click.

For payout methods, impossible with stripe if you dont have a us or uk bank account

There’s an option to change the number of generations you want to offer for free upon installing the extension. Once the trial generation is over, user needs to get a license. That’s how it’s setup

1. Yes, there’s no difference in terms of features between regular and extended licenses
2. The product has a minimal admin panel that you see on the demo site. For managing users, billing, pricing, usage are done through the Stripe dashboard. The app usage Stripe API to feed all this data to there
3. It’s using OpenAI GPT 4o mini but you can change it in the code easily to switch whatever you’d want
4. The subscriptions are editable through Stripe interface. No need to edit any code
5. It’s a Next.js app
6. The only cost that comes in is the AI API key

I think generic admin panel features which are found in SAAS products, some examples below:
User Management and Limitations:
- User listing which includes actions such as edit, word used (day/month/year), etc, and filters such as paid users, etc.
- Site users (multiple admin accounts).
- Subscription settings (configure subscription packages).
Core Dashboard:
- Web traffic (day / month / year), country, etc – graphs and stats.
- OpenAI analytics – words used (day / month / year), cost – graphs and stats.
Customization, Personalization, and Notifications:
- Site settings (site name, keywords, seo, ico, logo, color, smtp emails).
- OpenAI API config key field.
- Payment API key fields (e.g. Stripe).
1. User management: User management is available through the Stripe dashboard for customers who buy subscriptions.
2. Limitations: No, there’s no role based dashboard yet but if you show me the use case, I could consider adding this in a future update.
3. Configuring subscription packages: Again, it’s all are available through Stripe. The app even comes with a one command Stripe subscription package setup like `seed—dev` and that set you up a complete Stripe subscriptions for you.
4. Web traffic: Stats, graphs etc all are available in Vercel dashboard. OpenAI cost is available through OpenAI dashboard + Stripe meter based billing.
5. Config: These are also available through Vercel `env`. I don’t see a reason to have it in a dashboard.

Understood, but the goal for a SAAS business is to centralise all these into one dashboard which is avaialble through an admin login rather than log into different components and gather the data through there, this is so when someone scales everything is available through one link to make the running of the SAAS simpler.
If you look at other SAAS products on here you will see they all incorporate these into an admin panel.

I’m not disagreeing with you on the part where you have mentioned that when you sale your business to someone else or even involve someone else to manage the business together, it becomes a bit easier. But I still don’t see the goal of a SaaS to centralize all the nice to have features.
That said, as an initial release, I still think the product is good as in its current stage. Whoever wants to launch an AI business shall have no issues with it. I’ll also continuously improving the product. That means we might end up having a dashboard but I don’t see it’s a dealbreaker for everyone. I’m afraid it’s a dealbreaker for you to have a centralized dashboard rather than growing your business, I’ve nothing to say. All I could is wish you all the best!

1. Chrome extension code isn’t minified. You get full dev friendly source code. You are free to customize the code however you want
2. I specifically developed it to host on Vercel but that doesn’t stop you to host it on any server as long as the server is Next.js app compatible. You might need to remove the Vercel analytics though but that’s a single line of code.
3. As long as you are using it for your own use and for one single product, you should be fine to make the changes

Absolutely, Replier is very tightly integrated with Stripe dashboard. That means you get to see the plans, sign up users, emails, billing details, the usage of their generation through Stripe itself.
So, no more burden to manage all this data yourself but leave everything to Stripe. Your data remains safe and you pay 0 database bills to Vercel.
If you are a bit of technical person, you could even run it on Cloudflare worker for free. Replier is fully Edge functions friendly

Not really. In a regular CodeCanyon license, you’re able to use it for your own use, rename it, submit it to Chrome web store. That’s all fine.
White label licensing is needed when you want to resell it, charge your clients for the same program, or distribute the entire program under your own brand.

1. Great, you can just use a regular license for your own use.
2. You’re not limited to host it to Vercel but I recommend you to use Vercel. Hobby (free) Vercel plan is enough to run this since it has a tight Stripe integration. It’s even able to run on Vercel or Cloudflare Edge network. That means you have 0 host bills if you go with Cloudflare worker or export it to a static site. You can get rid of the landing page and make your own or just customize it for your needs.
3. I do want to extend the support for Instagram, Threads, Reddit, and even YouTube soon. Was busy since past few weeks preparing the SaaS version for it.
