Hi, I really like this plugin and use it on my website. One thing that I would like to add: Right now submitted posts on my site are set as draft, and I publish them after reviewing. Is it possible to let users edit their published posts without it becoming a draft again? (or am I missing a setting somewhere?)

Thanks, I missed that. However, now there are two buttons showing under the form, I would like to have only one: the ‘Submit’ button when a user adds a new (draft) post, the ‘Edit’ button when a user edits a published post.

Prior to making a purchase, I would like to clarify a few points. It is my understanding that support for custom taxonomy is exclusively available in the pro version, as I am unable to incorporate them into the form of the lite version? Additionally, I would like to know if there are any plans to introduce a feature that would allow users to add a tag, category, or term of custom taxonomy when submitting a guest post? Thank you.

Regarding adding new category/term yes we do have plan to add that feature in our future updates. Regarding creating a tag, since we already have textfield for non hierarchical taxonomies such as tag so new tag will be created when it is not available in the WordPress already.

Thank you for writing to us. Yes we do have the plan to add those features. But we already have the file uploader field which can be used to upload the gallery.
Regarding ACF integration, you can already add the custom fields in the our plugin’s form so if you match the meta_key while adding the custom field in our plugin that will directly synchronize with the ACF fields since ACF also works based on WordPress meta key and meta value functionality.

Want to confirm something before I purchase. Can I use this plugin to allow my user to upload Woocommerce Product “Downloadable files” for virtual products? For example, I would like to empower my users to be able to drag and drop 3 or 4 audio files or maybe multiple photos / images and have them be added in a single Woocommerce Product. Similar to how Woocommerce allows for multiple Downloadable files, specifically the files customers Download when the complete their purchase.

1. Since WordPress has only specific field for post content so its not possible to duplicate the Post Content field but you can definitely add a WYSIWYG editor as a custom field which have same field type as Post Content field.

I don’t want to provide a “WYSIWYG” editor. The best type would be “Simple textarea”, but it is not available as a Custom Field.

Our plugin is capable of submitting the post from frontend. Our plugin does have the frontend dashboard in which all the submitted post will be listed and the user can edit and delete the submitted post but doesn’t perform actions such as listing the post or displaying the post in the frontend.

You can add the below code in your theme’s functions.php file and modify accordingly to get the posts from specific taxonomy’s specific term.

So I have 2 custom posts – work and case studies. Currently I have 2 separate forms for each and 2 separate dashboards. What I did was create a hidden field ‘user’ which stores a particular user against the work or case study. What I want to do is create a new dashboard which shows all work or case studies for that particular user. Hope that makes sense!
One other thing – is it possible to dynamically populate a dropdown with information from a post? For example we want to show a dropdown in each form which allows client to choose from all ‘users’ in the table?

Thank you for your reply. Regarding the JS to populate the users, may be you can populate the users dropdown in your theme’s footer and also add a dropdown in the form and then you can use JS to replace the dropdown list that you have generated in the footer into our plugin’s dropdown field?
Regarding all the available hooks, you can check in our plugin’s help section where we have listed all the filters and action hook which you can use accordingly.
Regarding the meta_query, we are exactly not clear what you are trying to achieve but if you look at the WP_Query documentation then you can modify the query as per your need.

Hello, when I activate Avada Builder, there are problems with some elements. For example; datapicker jquery not opening. It remains like a normal texfield. Tried solutions: disabled all plugins, used the default htaccess file and WordPress default theme. There seems to be a conflict with Avada Builder.

Thanks again for the plugin. I have one more question—it seems that the form fields do not meet web accessibility standards. The form labels are not appropriately associated with the fields. Is there a way for me to address accessibility in the plugin without manually editing the plugin files? I see in the code where the labels and form field html are generated, but it would be better if this could be added to the plugin development. Our site needs to be accessible to screen readers, and currently the form fails. Thank you!

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately not having the forms meet accessibility guidelines is a deal-breaker for us. I would prefer not to have to edit the plugin files to meet the requirements, so I will need to switch to another solution. Is it possible to get a refund for the purchase price?
In terms of what needs to be done to meet accessibility guidelines, I would recommend using a Chrome extension such as WAVE or Silktide to check your fields and forms. Those extensions will give you guidelines about what needs to be done.

Hello, I just purchased the plugin and am trying to integrate the form with my ACF fields. I have matched the meta keys exactly when adding the custom fields to the form, but when I submit a post, the values don’t show up in my ACF field displays in the back end on the post edit screen. I only see them in the Frontend Post Submission Manager section. I had thought that they were integrated through the meta keys. Can you please advise?

Thank you for your response. I am using a variety of field types: text, email, url, file, number, radio button, and textarea. None of them is matching the information. As one example, I have a text field with meta key “field_667ed838ba9b1” which is the same key displayed in the ACF interface.
One question—I am using the free ACF plugin. Is ACF Pro required to make this integration work?

Ah, I see now that it works if I use the ACF Field Name (submitter_name) rather than the ACF Meta Key (field_xxxxxxxxxxxxx). I thought I had to use the meta key. Thanks for your quick assistance.
