I love the product but there may be a small issue I upgraded from a older version to now and even in the demo (so not only my installation) there is a bug where the password entry is not woking on the report itself (when password protecting a report)
But still one of the best products out there.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I’ve sent a silent update with this fix, and the change will be documented in our next release. You can apply the fix by redownloading the latest version, and uploading the /app/Http/Controllers/ReportController.php file.

Also, do you have a white label document that explains all the SEO terminology and can be provided to clients with clear definitions of what they mean? Most of my business clients will need to know the definitions; for example Meta Description, 404 Page, etc. By submitting report summaries to clients, most will not understand this terminology and what is needed to fix the issues.

Most likely bots scanning the web for common files of known frameworks / software (in this case, Laravel and phpRank).
It’s impossible for anyone to access your .env file as long as you follow the installation guide. The .env file resides outside your public directory, hence making it impossible to be accessed.
Furthermore, in the eventuality you didn’t followed the installation guide, and decided to upload everything in the public folder, we’ve added specific rewrite rules to block access to your .env file via .htaccess rules, see: https://i.imgur.com/8R1DDn6.png
So not sure what the issue is here.

Hello! 1. Im trying to add websites with the sitemap option , once I click on “analyze” button it start loading and for some websites sitemap url it will do nothing once finish and for others sitemap url will show a 500 error , what can be happening here ?

The code seems well-written! great stuff. I had trouble getting it to work with PostgreSQL but fair enough you do say MySQL in the docs. Probably not too complicated to fix, Overall this will save me so much time, so a win

Glad to see you’re appreciating our codebase. We plan on doing another major improvement to the codebase sometime next year by adding type declarations software-wide. Yes, MySQL is a software requirement, as that’s the engine we’ve developed this product on (and this is what 99.9% of our customers use), however a port to PostgreSQL shouldn’t be too hard if that’s a requirement and you’re familiar with such migration.
We’ve just shipped another major update, which adds the ability to upload custom avatars (and also 3rd party storage integration via Amazon S3, Backblaze, etc.), bulk selection, and more. And we’ve got more stuff coming soon, stay tuned.

1. It can be run completely stand alone, with no additional monthly cost, if you disable the Website Screenshot Preview (Thum.io integration), and the following 3 tools:
For the “SEO reports”, we’re using Thum.io API to generate the website image preview. If you don’t want to use this API, you will still get 100% report data, however no website preview will be displayed.
For the “Tools”, there are 3 tools that require an API. “Keyword Research” tool requires a KeywordsEverywhere API, “SERP checker” and “Indexed pages checker” tools require a Google Search API. If you don’t want to use these APIs, then the Tools will exclude these 3 tools, however all the other (36) tools will work just fine.

No, plan subscriptions are monthly and yearly. You can create redeemable coupons for longer periods (e.g: a redeemable coupon for 10 years), but not for “lifetime”.

Sorry, no plans to include such test, as it’s irrelevant due to mobile devices having various different screen sizes and resolutions. For desktop, it’s always the same, and the Title/Description length checker already covers that.

I have started adding more languages, but see that the language code is not appended to the URL The language change, but the URL doesnt. This is not good for SEO.
Example: If english mydomain.com/ (root) If spanish: mydomain.com/es/ If french: mydomain.com/fr/ etc.
Can this easily be implemented?

Currently the selected language does not appear in the URL. Perhaps I’ll add a get parameter to allow changing the language via an URL (have to check what the implications of such a change are).

That’s a limit imposed by the API we’re using: https://api.keywordseverywhere.com/docs/#/keywords/get_countries – there’s currently no way to retrieve more country specific data. If your country is not on the list, we suggest using the Global option instead.
