hi backorder quantity is not visible on shop page n product page please help!
Hi Jeffrey,
I have problem in using WooCommerce Backorder Manager Pro Let me explain the details as follows:
1- see picture 1 https://snipboard.io/8TzhiG.jpg -Setting of backorder product
2. see pitcure 2 – https://snipboard.io/njQEmf.jpg – Order with backorder product was placed. Report in woocommerce report/stock/on backorder showed correctly the backorder product with quantity.
3- see picture 3 – https://snipboard.io/8gYnmj.jpg – Nothing is shown in woocommerce report/orders/on backorder. In woocommerce order listing page , there is also no indication of backorders. Pls help to show orders with backorders in woocommerce/report/orders/on backorder and also woocommerce order listing page as indicated in dotted line red box.
4- see picture 4 – https://snipboard.io/h5SbIB.jpg In woocommerce product listing page, stock data is shown (“on backorder”). It will be helpful if the same stock data can be shown in line item table of order detailed page as shown in gotted red box.
Pls help to find a solution. Item 3 is very important. Item 4 is “good to have”
thanks Ken
Can you please response to my last question.
Ken
The plugin isn’t fully compatible with the latest version of WooCommerce (yet). As shown in the compatibility list. Which version of WooCommerce are you using?
I’m using the latest version of WooCommerce ver. 9.7.1.
Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to customize the backorder description. If I add a phrase, nothing changes. If I put in available it says “Pre-order – Product will be available” This phrase will work fine, as long as I can get it to finish the sentence and say when the item will be available. But, nothing else I add seems to have any effect. What do I need to do? Thank you for your time.
Hi, I would a pre-sale info aout how work your plugin, we work a lot with backorders so wesearch a plugin to manage it

Hi, I’m not able to execute any part of the plugin. Where does it show up? I see that it is installed and active. Since it seems that Woo doesn’t automatically fill backorders when products are received, I bought this program to at least give me some data to find who has backorders. I have no clue as to where in Woo it even ‘IS’ so I can open or use. CAn you help?
Hi there,
I’m concerned that this project might be inactive, given there haven’t been updates since early December 2024. With so many changes happening, it’s tough to stay up-to-date. Could you recommend an alternative, or consider making the pro version open source to allow for potential enhancements? I noticed that the free version was updated recently—could you explain why there’s a difference in update frequency between the two versions?
Thank you!
Hi, is your plugin WooCommerce Backorder Manager still being maintained? We have a client who is using the free version but they claim it has stopped working. We’re happy to upgrade to the pro version if it is still being looked after. I see in the supported WP versions, the latests is not listed here.. Thanks!
At this time there is no support for the most recent version of WooCommerce

Is there a way to display the backorder description for grouped products?
Anyone there?
What plugin are you using for grouped products?
No plugin. I’m using the core Woocommerce grouped products.
We have reproduced the issue but need some more time to fix it. Thank you for your patience
Do you have an estimate of when it will be released?
Are you still supporting this product? Your last update was December 23. If you’re not planning on and updates please let me know so I can find another plugin.
I am not getting any response from you on this issue. As the plug-in isn’t working I would like a refund.
Thank you
Hi, you can request a refund at https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new
HI,
I contacted you 2 months ago but have had no reply. I have set up a product with the correct settings but it is not working.
You can see it here:
https://www.braided-rug.co.uk/product/swtest/It has stock set to 3 and I have allowed backorders and set maximum to 100. When I try to add more than 3 I get a message saying that I cannot add more than 3.
Can you please advise?
Thank you
Hi Sir,
Where to change the text? if the backorder is in Cart? Kind regards,
Hi,
I am trying to allow a user to order more items than I have in stock so, for example I have a product with 6 in stock but I want the user to be able to add 8 – I was hoping to do this with this plug-in. I set the maximum back orders to 100 but when I try to add 8 to the basket it says I cannot add more than 6.
Is this possible?
Thanks,
Peter
Hello,
I have found two bugs in the plugin.
In the WooCommerce orders list table the plugin adds a column named “Backorders?” which shows the amount of order items on backorder, but it doesn’t show anything if the WordPress language is set something other than English.
WooCommerce stores the amount of products on backorder for “WC_Order_Item_Products” in the method “set_backorder_meta” in the file class-wc-order-item-product.php. If you look at the function, you’ll see that the meta_key is translated for some reason and therefore varies depending on the site language.
Your plugin only expects the meta_key in the function “add_shop_order_column_backorders_content” to always be “Backordered”.
The filter “woocommerce_backordered_item_meta_name” should be used to correctly determine the meta_key used by WooCommerce for each language.
The second bug is saving the “_backorder_description” metadata from variations as a serialized array to the main product metadata.
The value is displayed in the editor inside the “Inventory” tab in the “Backorder description” field as “Array”. This doesn’t seem to cause any ill effects, but it is a little bit ugly and confusing.
Perhaps an if clause preventing arrays from being stored in the main product meta would be beneficial, as the same meta_key is used for both the main product and its variations?
Hi, I Would like to seek your assistance. I have tried going through the documentation but found no option to disable the quantity from showing.
We do not want to show the quantity when it exceeds the maximum quantity set. Here are the screenshots for your reference (https://ibb.co/4ZnjMBs), which it highlighted in orange color.
Hope to hear from you soon on this matter. Thank you.
I have two plugins that will make WooCommerce order numbers in sequential. Can I hire to customize addons for the Backorder manager plugins that can shows the sequential order number instead of default WooCommerce Order number (post ID)?
The two plugins are 1. WooCommerce Sequential Order Numbers Pro http://www.woocommerce.com/products/sequential-order-numbers-pro/ 2. OpenPOS https://codecanyon.net/item/openpos-a-complete-pos-plugins-for-woocomerce/22613341Please quote me the time and cost, many thanks
I search and found someone has asked on this a year ago but can’t found the feedback or solution, thanks
Hi, I seem to be having a problem with the plugin. Whenever the plugin is active it affects the cart page, and it does not show properly. The total is gone and the layout goes wonky.
Please help. Thanks
I have found another error with variable products. If you modify any detail at all in a variation it will reset the parent to backorder limit of 1. You can change a word by one character and hit save changes then update and it will reset the backorder limit. You then have to adjust the parent back to the number you want and hit update again. The only reason we found it was the product in the customers view loses the ability to adjust the quantity of the product they wish to order. If the limit is 1 the quantity box disappears and only the add to cart button is active.
Its been 2 weeks and still no solution?
2 Months and No support at all pretty sad.
Almost 3 months and still no update or fix for the big problem.
