Okay I fixed that bug now with help from previous comments. Now my issue is that the default cursor doesn’t disappear – it’s overlaying the image I want.

Yes all available cursors will be removed, and you may need to create new ones. Also keep in mind that the new version is different from the old version, currently in version 3.5 you can’t create your own cursors and you only have access to available cursors and can only customize a pre-existing cursor. Please try it on a staging domain before using on your website.

I tried adding a image file as a custom cursor but I receive a cut off error message that says the cursor was not added.
The image file I used is a PNG. Does it have to be a certain image file?
I am using Elementor Pro as well if that matters.
Update: I’m getting the same error when I try to use one of the pre-built cursors. None of them work, I get the same error every time.
I’m using Elementor Pro v3.22.1 and WordPress 6.5.5
I found the issue. If you switch from the free version to the premium version, do not upload and overwrite the free version with the premium version. Uninstall the free version, then upload the premium version.

Great choices indeed i will test them out, how can i set the hover elements on hover, i use more instead of and <btn> tags. Also the settings buttons does not do anything for now.
I just released it and you are the first beta user. it still needs improvement and I keep working on it. It will take a couple of weeks til I release the next update. Til then I will manually configure any settings for you on your admin panel. Any feedback is highly appreciated.
There are a few issues like the previous version on the custom shape cursor im not sure if you correct it so i will point them out.
First of all on this version i tried to disable it and my website crashed i had to restore a back up, you might need to check this as well.
The issue from the previous version was that you have set the cursor speed and the animation from normal to hover ease speed the same value. So if i want to set 0.3 seconds the ease to the hover, then the hover cursor also moves slowly with 0.3 speed, and if i want to have the cursor speed 0 so its fast, then i have to set it to 0 but then the ease transition is also 0 so its not smooth and that does not look great. You should set for those 2 different variables and not the same 1 to be shared. I guess 1) ease speed and 2)cursor speed on both inner circle and outer circle, for both normal and hover.
Also on the previous version sometimes the hover cursor is been stuck regardless if i went out from the hover element, and the only way to resolve this was to refresh the page.

There is no custom shape cursor, cursor maker or similar features on the new version. The latest version 3.5 (released a few hours ago) totally removed the old features and provides a whole set of new features. What version are you using?
I updated to your latest version so i use 3.5 version. Custom shape Cursor i mean the shape cursors that you can adjust the inner cursor the outer and same for the hover (inner and outer) for example the cursor no1 on your list.
Before that i used the 3.3.0 version because this is the only version that can do what i need. In the video bellow you can see that.

When i hover on the characters it gives the “eye” icon, and when i hover on the testimonials it gives me the “swipe” icon. How can i do that with your new version? i guess i cannot, this is why im not updating the past months. Those Cursors you have are limited, its is only 1 and you cannot customize them. I should be able to select the hover style to specific css selectors.
Also on your new version 3.5 how can i adjust the default hover selectors? I am using Slider Revolution so not all elements are or <btn> there are also other selectors that i need for the default, on my situation i use these selectors for the simple hover “sr7-btn,.sr7-btn,.rev-btn,rs-tab,.e,a,button,.elementor-field-subgroup” and .cursor_view selector for the “eye” icon, also .cursor_swipe selector for the swipe icon.
Also on your new versions i cannot control separate the transition animation and the cursor speed, it is the same variable so if i want o have fast cursor i have to have fast transition or i want snow transition i also have slow cursor, i want fast cursor, with slow transition.
How can i do those on the new version? thank you.

Hi there, The new version doesn’t support multiple hover cursors yet, so unfortunately you need to use the older version for that use case. I will work to provide this option in future updates.
So you had something and you removed it on the newer version, that is not they fair for us we purchase the plugin at past. Yes I will use the old version but you have to update it soon because 3.3.0 version does not work fine with Slider Revolution engine 7. But 3.5 version of your plugin works fine with SR7. And soon the will force the SR7 ,please until then add multiple hover cursors. Thank you .

Hi, I was able to add a custom image cursor, but when I try to enable it I receive this error that is cut off:

I have a cursor for the whole site but when I activate other cursors on rollover the whole site cursor still shows. Why is this? Shouldn’t it replace the cursor that is there so there is just one cursor at a time?

Inside the downloaded file there is another ziip file named wp-custom-cursor.zip you need to install this file
