Hello, I might be blind but I am unable to find where to adjust the style for both bbpress forums and mediapress so that it looks the same as the rest of the site. in buddypress groups if we visit a forum its totally different , same for going to the mediapress galleries, can you point me in the right direction

I purchased in 2020, why can’t I use my license still? I’m trying to activate so I can use shortcodes. I certainly can’t buy it again yet if I can’t even use the license I have got.

Im looking at launching my site soon and then upgrading to the Pro version once I can see the basics all work as I would like them to. However, Im having an issue at the moment with the activity feed!

I dont want my users to be able to upload videos to my server so turned off the Video tab on the activity wall in the wall settings. However, if I then post a Youtube URL to the feed, the video shows, and posts, but on refresh it dissapears. It still shows in the media tab section. If I then enable Video posting to the wall, the Youtube videos will show, but then users also have the option to upload videos directly to my server!

I have tested with all but the basic plugins turned off, and issue remains.

I have also turned Youzify off and just left Buddypress enabled, this fixes things. The issue of dissapearing posts on the activity wall only comes back when Youzify is enabled.

I am using the latest free version for testing, latest buddypress and wordpress etc.

No caching plugins are running and no serve side caching that Im aware of.

I’m a long time WordPress user, but new to bbPress and BuddyPress and I’m building a community site, largely based around forums / bbPress. I’ve already built on most of the site locally, on my computer using bbPress, BuddyPress and the BuddyX theme when I learned about Youzify. BuddyX claims to be compatible with your plugin—and I’ve used Elementor Pro pretty heavily. so:

(1) I’m wondering how your plugin works with Elementor, as it’s not listed as compatible. (2) I’m wondering how your plugin works with BuddyX theme - is it fully compatible, or might there be some issues. I’ve already installed a bunch of plugins from that developer. Are there certain plugins - based on functionality that I should uninstall if I buy your Youzify Pro version, and finally (3) One of the functions I’m most interested in for your plugin is for moderation. But your moderation documentation - I’ve read searched and skimmed through it - doesn’t mention bbPress with regard to moderation. Does bbPress moderation work just the same as the BuddyPress modeation described in your documentation?

1. Youzify and Elementor can coexist on a single WordPress website, but they operate independently. Youzify has its framework and cannot be edited using Elementor or other page builders. To customize Youzify’s appearance, you’ll need to use PHP snippets or CSS.

However, you can add Youzify’s shortcodes inside the Elementor block.

2. While Youzify can potentially work with BuddyX theme, we cannot officially guarantee full compatibility. Because we are never in touch with the creator. To ensure optimal performance, please refer to our list of officially compatible themes for the most reliable experience:

3. The Youzify Moderation plugin is currently designed to work specifically with BuddyPress and Youzify. Moderation features for bbPress are not yet available.

Would be great if there was a way to have group catagories and a filter… Can do this with BB and BP but not with Youzify unless Im missing something? WBCOM have a plugin for BP group type, but looks like theyve recently removed it for some reason. I have it still, it add all the functionality back end so you can create multiple group types, select them when creating groups from Youzify front end, and it displays the group type on the Youzify Groups archive on each group, The only thing that doesnt work currently is it normally adds a drop down filter to the Groups Archives bar where Youzify’s says ‘all groups’ ’ my group’ etc… This shows when using BB and BP but doesnt show on Youzify.

If you could get this to show that plugin would instantly work by the looks of things…. Happy to share it as it was free anyway

Buddypress added group taxonomies from 2.6 by the looks of things…

Asked why WBcom have removed it to download and they said the functionality is part of BP core now.

Nearly cracked it…. Using page inspector on Groups Directory, I noticed

  • is greyed out when using the element inspector on the directory filter.

    Selecting this shows the following CSS.

    .youzify #youzify-directory-search-box, #directory-show-search { display: none; }

    By setting this to display: block; the Group Type filter shows in the right place!

    Problem is Im not sure where to apply this, its inline CSS

    Have tried placing .youzify #youzify-directory-search-box, #directory-show-search { display: block; }

    in custom CSS both in my theme options and also within Youzify cusatom CSS for the groups directory page but doesnt change anything.

    Any ideas would be appreciated! Almost got it to work fully… just cant crack this last bit!

    After I paid for “all access pass” During the five-year service period, If five of my domain names are changed, What happens?

    I have a very strongly worded complaint about how you took renewal payment for all access pass from my bank without prior warning, without emailing me that you have done it – no invoice.     Thanks for the reply. I have emailed. And just to say to anyone who reads this – I can’t fault the team they were supportive through the one year we have had it. We just don’t need all access at this time and clearly there must’ve been an issue with the email being sent their end. Overall the support during the last year has be fastidious and I would recommend Youzify if you’re willing to put in the work to customize it. Its a pretty good piece of kit and certainly worth the price

    Hi, Is possible to create 2 groups, and 1 group can see one type of Learndash courses and the other group other type of courses? (And the first group can’t see the other groups courses and vice versa) Thanks in advance!

    A possible workaround, the group Admin or Moderator can post the URL of the group to the Groups Activity wall and make the group private. So only the group members can see the posts.

    The premiun plugin has an error, I paid and I can’t use it, I hope they resolve this, error notifications appear next to the user name, It says: “Warning: Undefined array key in/code/wp-content/plugins/youzify /includes/premiun/public php line 261 and line 799, I had to uninstall the paid plugin and reinstall the free one. I’m currently installing the free one but I bought it and I hope this error is resolved soon, otherwise I’ll have to. ask for my refund.
