Can I get the update if the support is expired?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Yes, you can update plugin regardless of Item Support, whether it’s valid or expired: https://villatheme.com/knowledge-base/how-to-update-villatheme-plugins-from-envato/

Best regards.

This plugin came with a themes I brought, anytime I clicked on Add To Cart, the cart automatically clear off. Same thing with buy now

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Our plugin is not sold as part of a theme bundle. Could you please contact the theme seller directly and inquire about this issue? They should be able to assist you with the problem you’re experiencing with the cart and “Buy Now” functionalities.

Best regards.

Okay, but is the plugin compatible with any SUMO plugins, like their pre-order and payment plan

I’m afraid not. You can check the compatible plugins in this list: https://docs.villatheme.com/woocommerce-multi-currency/#page_section_menu_3939

Is this compatible with Woocommerce Subscriptions Plugin? https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-subscriptions/

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Yes, our plugin is partially compatible with it. If there’s any problem, please open a ticket on this Support Forum: https://villatheme.com/supports/forum/presale/

We’ll help you check, no fee required.

Can I ensure that products with 2 different currencies are uploaded to the dashboard but only a single currency appears on the front page? Can I also do this with bulk upload?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I’m not sure if you’re referring to the Bulk Fixed Price feature: https://docs.villatheme.com/woocommerce-multi-currency/#page_section_menu_5615

If yes, this feature is supported in the premium plugin. And for the concern “but only a single currency appears on the front page” >> It depends on how you set up the plugin settings. Commonly, only one currency is shown on the front end. You can make 2 currencies show at the same time using the “Approximate price” feature, but this feature doesn’t use the fixed price – it uses converted price instead.

Best regards.

plugin supports varnish cache system?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Our plugin has an option for cache system to avoid cached price issue. You can check the option “Use cache plugin” in this documentation: https://docs.villatheme.com/woocommerce-multi-currency/#page_section_child_menu_2989

And try our free version: http://bit.ly/woo-multi-currency

Best regards.

I have a question about the pricing of the plugin. Is it a one-time price of $34 for the plugin to receive future updates? I know support is not available after 6 months, do I need to renew the plugin every year to receive the plugin updates after 6 months?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I received your ticket on our Support Forum, but I’ll share the details here again for other customer’s reference.

Yes, the price is one-time paid and there’s no expiry date for the plugin license. You can use/update it for the lifetime of the plugin.

But Item Support and Auto update feature last for 6-12 months only.

Is it possible to have Currency by Country but that works this way: 1. AMD that is only shows in Armenia (custom prices manually in AMD) 2. USD – Worldwide (custom prices entered in USD)

HOWEVER, at Checkout, show prices in AMD but converted from USD Rates (Not showing the manual prices entered in AMD for Worldwide/USD clients)

Screenshot explanation: https://tinyurl.com/2657yw8t

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

For the first Currency by Country request, you can use Fixed price and Auto select currency feature, which is instructed in this documentation: https://youtu.be/_DV2XVETUzM?si=w28wjKyK_jAT2XEu&t=605

For the request feature at Checkout, as far as I understand, you want to enable only AMD for Checkout and you want to show converted price instead of fixed price for customer whose initial currency is USD.
Unfortunately, our plugin does not support the functionality you described. Specifically, it is not possible to have custom prices in AMD displayed only in Armenia and USD prices worldwide, but then show converted AMD prices at checkout for all customers based on USD rates.

Best regards.

I’m planning to buy this plugin, it’s compatible with checkoutwc? I mean, the plugin can change the currency when the client selects a specific payment gateway using checkoutwc

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Can I ask which specific plugin you’re referring to? Is it a free or a premium plugin?

It’d be great if you could share the specific URL to the official plugin. Thank you.

Best regards.

Greetings, I have emailed support@villatheme.com with 2 issues and gotten no response. Currency plugin have default functionality. When we hide country name from header them it’s remove from all dropdown values

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Our plugin doesn’t have option to specifically show country name, perhaps you’re referring to this: https://nimb.ws/jhDZoxH ?

I have no idea of your specific use-case and your goal. Can you please create a support ticket on this Support Forum. I’ll be checking.

Best regards.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The 2 plugins are compatible as stated in this documentation: https://docs.villatheme.com/woocommerce-multi-currency/#page_section_menu_3939

However, it’s been long so possibly both plugins have changed. If you encounter any problem, please create a support ticket on this Support Forum. We can help you check.

Hi, I downloaded this plugin today and I think it is cool. However, I notice that the currency conversion doesn’t happen when a user inputs price through a modal forms. NB. I’m using the plugin on a freelance marketplace website where employers are required to input prices when setting milestones. The form that submits these data is loaded via modal. Please guide on this as we would like to have the pro version of the plugin once we get this issue resolved. Thank you

If possible we can get into a call so that I can demonstrate the issue for better understanding.

Thank you for providing the link. Currently, our plugin hasn’t checked its compatibility with that specific plugin just yet. However, we will certainly consider it for future updates.

Additionally, I regret to inform you that we do not provide support via phone or live chat.

Can you also add gold, silver, platinum, or similar precious metals among the currencies? I need derivatives of gold, such as 14K, 18K, 22K, and especially 24K converted to a different currency. For example, 24K to USD. 24K Gold to Turkish Lira, for instance.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Can I ask how they’re used for checkout?

Best regards.

I want to show Turkish Lira for Turkey Location. For other locations i ll show usd prices. I am okey with it.

But ı want to use 3. currency, i know i must buy pro version.

I want to enter prices as 1 gram 24K gold. For example my X product 3 gram 24K gold price.

But web site shows me Turksih Lira for Turkey. For other locations shows me usd.

1 gram 24K gol to TRY 1 gram 24K gold to USD

I need this 2 convert method.

This is the opencart version: https://www.imgenet.com/opencart-kuyumcu-altin-fiyatlari-modulu

They have different gold currency types. 1gram 24K, 1 gram 22K, Ons. Or different gold types to currency for example quarter gold(1.75 gram gold) to TRY or USD.

But I just need 1 gram 24K to TRY and USD.

If u add gold types(precious metals) to currencies, u can reach more purchaes rates for this module.

I see. Thank you for explaining. At the moment we don’t have that, we’ll take it into consideration.

Pre-sale question please: I have the free version loaded to test the Woocommerce integration. In the Woocommerce product, when I type in the second currency amount, it disappears after I update the product. What would cause that? I have the Fixed Price option checked.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I’ve received your ticket on our pre-sale Support Forum. It’s great to hear you sorted it out.

If there’s any other difficulties while using our plugin, feel free to let me know and please open a ticket on that Support Forum.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The EPO plugin is compatible with ours, but if you use cached page >> I’m afraid price can’t be converted.

Pre sale questions: 1) We need to display only currency 1 and on checkout to switch to currency 2. We want this to happen automatically without intervention (no switcher) . I need currency 2 only on checkout, thank you page and maybe my account to see the value of the orders in the payment currency. On the rest of the pages we need to display only the currency 1 and automatically switch between currencies when visiting and leaving the pages with different currency. Is this possible with your plugin? 2) Is the plugin compatible with flatsome and wpml? Thank you

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

1. The feature of changing currency is on the pro version. For details, you can view this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiFz-Kqe2XI

2. I’m afraid it’s not possible. Once the currency is changed, it is applied to the whole session of the customer, unless you use the “Sync checkout currency” option ( https://youtu.be/YiFz-Kqe2XI?si=3049_yQixc4E5aQf&t=153 )

3. Yes, our plugin is compatible with flatsome theme. And for multilingual plugin, we can work with WPML, Polylang and TranslatePress. You can visit this short tutorial video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8MlrF3img8&list=PLhRK6dhs0IKB37k2Nj77qTauTsVrGT36f&index=15

Best regards.

Latest update 2.3.2 is not changing the currencies in the checkout when changing the country. Worked fine with version 2.3.1

Hi, is there a possibility to show all currencies directly under the product price?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Our plugin has a feature called “Approximate price” which can show 2 currencies at the same time (details at: https://youtu.be/_DV2XVETUzM?si=c1eGch97AmYm0rai&t=697 )

Or you can use the currency price switcher this style: https://prnt.sc/beQ1ybtNe7pT It’ll show the converted price in each currency in the switcher: https://nimb.ws/qcNIULK

You can try our free version for a better view: http://bit.ly/woo-multi-currency

Best regards.

Our idea is to use the plugin so that we can use the various currencies as custom fields not correlated with the price of the product. In the specific case, “currencies” will be used to show the customer the calories, fats, proteins directly related to that product, so there would be more than 2 currencies to show under the price of the product. Is it possible to do something like this with your plugin? Also, will the overall calculation of the summed values in various currencies be shown in the cart? Thank you

Thank you for clarifying. I’m afraid we don’t have the exact feature you want. But there’re different feature in CURCY that can cover it. As I mentioned above the Approximate price, other than that, you can also use Price switcher (style Flag + Price: https://docs.villatheme.com/woocommerce-multi-currency/#page_section_child_menu_2997 ).

Or we support display multi currency at checkout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiFz-Kqe2XI

Hi

In your doc (https://docs.villatheme.com/?item=woocommerce-multi-currency), there is a section about ‘Recalculate’ in the backend.

https://app.screencast.com/7wvGK0ghTAsjL

After completed the change currency + recaluate > the cost value gets updated according to the currency but the currency symbol is not changeing, it always shows the initial currency symbol $.

Isn’t that supposed to show the respective currency symbol?

For example, if i change the currency to ‘KRW’ then it should be KRWxxxx amount, if I change it to JPY then it should be JPYxxxx amount..

but it’s not showing that way now, Is this a bug? or this is not possible?

Please kindly adivse. Thank you

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Yes, it indeed should show the symbol of the updated currency instead of the old one after you change currency on the backend. However I’ve tested on my site, but didn’t encounter this problem. The symbol was changed correctly.

Best regards.
