We have tested on our testing website environment with Youzify 3.5.2 – BuddyPress 14 – WordPress 6.5.5, and can not find any issues. Everything is working as expected. I recommend you to do the following:
1. Please update your Youzify and BuddyPress to the newest version.
2. If you are using BP Classic, please uninstall it.
3. Please also do a conflict test – disable all non-Youzify and BuddyPress plugins on your website and check again if the issue is solved or not. Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
4. You also can try to deactivate all snippets on your website temporarily. If you put them on the “bp-custom.php” file, rename it. If you put them on the All Snippets plugin, please disable it and see if the issue persists or not.

Updating version 3.3.9 to 3.5.2 causes all user profile pages (Info, Overview, etc) and custom tabs to stop working. Custom Tabs still appear in dashboard but front-end users get 404 not found. When clicking member, it goes to the user’s Edit Profile (“Base” page) even though I have set the default as “Overview”. I have tried to flush the permalinks by saving Permalinks page but to no avail.
Tested with: BuddyPress Version 14.0.0 / WordPress 6.5.5 / Twenty Twenty-Four Theme
Had to rollback to 3.3.9. Appreciate if there’s an update or maybe provide a link to all older versions so that we can download a different version than the latest.

It works now, thank you. Here’s what I did in sequence:
Disabled BP Classic. Disabled Youzify and BuddyPress. Activated BuddyPress then Youzify.
I have another question. As an admin I use BuddyPress to send out the Site Notices to front-end users (Dashboard > Users > Site Notices). Members get the message throughout all pages on our website, but when they click the X to dismiss the notice, it reroutes them to their member page where the notice still persists and the message “You do not have access to that page” appears on the page. However, once they are on this page (or any member page) they can dismiss the notice successfully. Ideally I would like the users to be able to dismiss the notices wherever they are on the site.

Regarding your new report, I believe it happened because of a conflict with another plugin that handles membership or restrictions purposes. Please try to disable the plugin and check again if the issue is solved or not.

Hi, this Im sure will be a custom job, but Im wandering if its something you would be willing / able to consider rather than another developer.
Im building a site with Youzify and and theme that allows video posts. They list as regular posts so show automatically on the Youzify activity feed.
However, when using the activity feed to browse content, if you click on a video post, it opens the post as a new window and you lose where you are on the Activity feed. Even using back page on the browser takes you to a different place on the feed….
Idealy, I would love to have the posts open as a modal rather than new page load, then could just close the modal and be on the same place on the activity feed.
Is this something you might consider as a custom job? Thanks
Another option for me would be to change how a post is displayed in the Youzify activity feed, so that the feed displays any videos that are on the post rather than the featured image. That way the video may possibly play direclty on the feed itself…
I cant use the upload video option to the feed itself as this is way too resource hungry for a busy site and would require rediculous hosting… All my videos just come from youtube URLS and display as posts.

A possible workaround, you share the URL of the video from 3rd party video platforms such as Youtube and Vimeo to the activity wall via the “Status Post” type. Wait a few seconds and post it. The URL will be converted to a playable video post automatically. If you want to see how it works, please shoot us an email at contact@youzify.com. We will show you a video recording of how it works.
However, if the video is uploaded to a WordPress article and published, it can not be converted to playable video on the activity wall as Youzify will detect it automatically as “Blog Post Type” instead of “Video Posts Type”.

Hi, pre sales question! I have Youzify standard version that came with a theme, looking at upgrading to pro as the site Ive been working on goes live so want the support option that pro gives 
I was using a different pluging from wbcom – a user blog plugin, does similar thing to your front end submission pluging, only there has an option with the pro version to assign a post to a group when submitting it… then shows a posts tab in that group and the posts.
Would this be something that can be done with your plugin?
Also, when the users posts display on their profile page, is there a way to only show a chosen catagory?
I need have video posts showing in a video section, and would like to have these not show in the profile posts – can be done easily by limiting the profile posts to a certain catagory or uncatagorized….
Hopefuly these things are part of your front end submission plugin, if so I will be moving to that from the wbcom one

All articles published only can be posted automatically to your profile, not to a specific group.
Also, article posts can not be shown based on category. It will show all of your posts.

Thank you for clarifying.
For the basic BuddyPress features such as the Members Profile field, text status post, avatar, cover image, etc, it should not be lost if you disable and deactivate Youzify.
However, the data only can be handled by Youzify such as Widgets, Custom Tab, Image/Video/Audio post type, etc. Unfortunately, if you disable Youzify, the data will be lost as by default BuddyPress can not handle them.

If there is ONE thing you need to add to your next update is an alternative captcha. Nobody wants to use Google anymore. People dont like to see it on websites. And its gotten to a point where its putting people off if Google’s recaptcha is used on the website.
For more privacy, please add Cloudflare. Or even a simple math option.

It has been long that youzify did’t support almost 5 release of wordpress version. It causing a lot of issue, because there are some vital plugin that required wordpress version 6.4 and above.
There are some plugin that required atleast wordpress 6.4 version, e.g Woocomerce plugin etc
Please I really need it, and I believe that we generally need Youzify to support atleast wordpress 6.4 and above.

In Youzify, you only can disable the activity Blog Post type on Youzify Panel >> General Settings >> Wall Settings.
