Some very important questions before my purchase decision:
1. Live streaming possible from YT/Facebook and others through your player ?
2. I think, advertising function with only applicable for self hosted content, not for 3rd party embedded content from Vimeo, YT, Facebook and others right ? So the monetization model can’t be achieved if fetching content from other sources ?
3. With Shoutcast/Icecast support, I can easily set up audio podcast with your player embedded on my website ?
4. I already have a community website with Buddypress, Wordpress and other plugins which is also working as WebView App, will your player support my environment with normal shared hosting server in the backend ?
5. Annotations function will work with YT, Vimeo content or self hosted only ?
6. I see Woocommerce support, so any Woocommerce plugin will also work ? Possible to monetize icecast/shoutcast based audio streaming or any live streaming (either self hosted or from F3rd Party like YT/Facebook) with your player ? Just trying to balance free media display and monetization model for my platform built with your product.

1.With your product if I have a free google ID, I can display whatever video from YT and also include Google Ads so in my website I copy other people’s YT content and monetize on my website, is it possible or I am getting it wrong ?
2. Didn’t understand…the thumbnail gallery will display products fetched from Woocommerce is it, so user can click on the thumbnail and will be redirected to Woocommerce page within the app ?

before I renew support: Is it no longer possible to play Vimeo videos with your player? I’ve been using your player for a few years now, but lately Vimeo videos have been causing issues. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t.

The videos are added in the playlist backend, and admin rights are required.
You can add as many videos as you want in the playlist, but only as admin.

I answered you via email, yes it is possible but this is done in the vast tag, you need to use VMAP and set when the vast ads to start, this is done server side, I have no clue how is done but it is possible.

So you can add as many videos as you want, each with a different quality set the label for that quality as you want, if you want an automatic way to change the video resolution it is not possible.

No it is added in the playlist whenyou add the video you have the option to add as many videos as you want each one with a different quality and they can be selected in the front via the player quality selector, you can also se which one to start first.

You can try to use the afterparent display type and resize the d8v that contains the player with css or jqvascript, the player will adjust to the parent div.

Hi, just purchased the WP version – how do I create a shortcode for a single video file? I don’t need a playlist, just need a shortcode to play a single file, where I will insert the dynamic URL.

You can choose which video or playlist to select first time the users is viewing the page but the video still has to be part of a playlist.

The option to see video playlist seems to disappear on mobile. I would like the playlist to appear under the videos if it cannot fit on the right, is this possible?
This is how it should be by default, there is an option to disable the playlist on mobile, make sure to set that to no.

The problem is that youa re using the fullscreen display type and in this case if the browser viewport is too small the playlist has not space to be displayed.

I would like to enable iOS player for full screen option but not for regular playback. How do I configure? Currently when I use iOS player option it forces full screen for all playback.

Try setting playsinline to yes or no.

I tried setting “playsinline” but it always forces full screen. The desired behavior is to use the UVP skin unless “full screen” is pressed at which point use the native iOS full screen option.
For example, here is how the YouTube player works:

When plaisinline is set to “yes” it forces full screen all the time instead of only when the full screen button is pressed. Try YouTube on mobile in browser to see the desired functionality. UVP skin when in line and iOS player when full screen.

I have tried everything and been troubleshooting for months now. Further, you never addressed my question/concern about the “playsinline” concern above. Clearly this is not working as I expected and I will not be able to use it so it seems unfair not to offer a refund. I see how I can create playlists but is it that if I just need to show one YouTube video I have to create a playlists first, add that video there, and then actually embed the playlist with a single video?
