Is gmail the only email that can be used for the smtp settings? I will want to use the smtp settings from my own domain.
You can use the other email settings; the language has not been updated is all. You can use your own email protocol for sending out emails.
Using the smtp setting from a private domain doesnt work. It works only when I use gmail.

How do I edit the dropdown content for class?
For changing class dropdown on website, you need to change below files: 1. application/views/alumni/login.php 2. application/views/alumni/edit_alumnus.php
For Admin panel: 1. application/views/admin/add_alumnus.php 2. application/views/admin/modal_edit_alumnus.php

Hello, you have to add /admin at the end of your working URL and that should take you to the admin panel’s login page. Default credentials for Admin panel: Email: admin@venus.com Password: admin

Thank you for your comment. All the language files are in the application/language/english directory. You will find a file named vasha_lang.php there and you can change alumni to member. It will change all over the application.

Can i use it for other type of membership system? Will i be able to modify Alumni Member to something like Village/Community Member? Can the system generate unique member ID for each new person added? Do you have attendance tracking system so you know members participation based on historical attendance records?
Yes you can use it for any kind of community setup. The core services remain the same but you will have to change the language contents according to your requirements, which you can do very easily. It does not have attendance tracking system.

Hello. Thank you for your interest. The features that you think are not applicable to your need can be disabled. Once you buy then you can contact me and I shall figure out the issue for you.
About roles and permissions, there is not any defined role and permission yet. So far there are multiple user types. For the front-end website, 1. Alumni and 2. Volunteers can login and for the back-end panel, you have your 1. Admin and 2. Story writer role
As for the multiple admins scenario, yes you can add multiple admins. Though there is no official link/url to do that but the database setup is there. It can be easily implemented for a small price as a custom built feature.

Is it possible for the user to set his own username and password instead of the admin doing it? Also is it possible to enable all users to create stories by default?
The admin would only need to approve the new user without having to set a user name and password etc. Similarly the admin can approve the stories that he would like to be shown on the site.

2. I also, added a website page to create a feature from the admin panel for MenuBar and the home landing page section. if I create any page from the admin panel, it shows on the menubar and the landing home page.
