Hello, thanks for your suggestions, but we don’t actually decide what will be added in updates. We make our updates according to the number of requests for incoming features. So, we give priority to whichever feature is most requested. Accordingly, the most requested features recently are a referral system and export options for products. That’s why we decided to work on these features in the next update.

Currently, we do not have plans to incorporate additional payment gateways. Our code is open source and you can edit it to integrate other payment gateways. Additionally, there’s an article available in our Help Center detailing the process of adding a new payment gateway. However, please note that adding new payment gateway and making other custom edits fall outside the scope of item support. Unfortunately, we cannot assist you in this editing process. You might want to consider collaborating with a developer if you want to add an additional payment gateway.

It would be good to improve the filters for products, give options to filter by product characteristics, specific product measurements (example: square footage). Just as it can already be done with product values. (maximum and minimum value)
Hello, we don’t plan to add a text or number input for product filters, but you can add it by creating a custom field with options. Then you can set this custom field as a custom filter for your products.
You are currently considering adding a referral system in the next update.
My Suggestion is that - “Kindly Add Referral System For Admin Membership Also”.
Admin Also Should Able To Set Separate Referral Amount For - “First Time Membership Purchase & Renewal”.
So that Admin also can benefited with this referral system. (It will save Admin cost for marketing to new shops to join marketplace because previously joined shops, as well as, any influencers/anyone (after register as user) can refer other shops to join marketplace. Also referral system will benefit for improving churn rate for membership renewal.)
Kindly Consider this as well on high priority while Adding Referral System.

Actually, we do not want to make this system too complex. The reference system is generally used to gain new members. For this reason, a certain reward can be given to referrers based on the people who bring members to the site with reference codes and the amount of shopping made by these members. These two options will be in the Admin panel and Admin will be able to enable/disable them and adjust the reward amount. Basically we want to add such a system.

Actually marketplace growth is chicken and egg problem (question is which to focus first for growth, customers or shops. But answer is shops. Coz if products variations and competitive pricing, then only customers will come after building supply side).
So For Members growth and sales growth, it’s even more important to have more and more shops to join, so as to grow marketplace ecosystem by having more products variations and price competition ie. Competitive pricing.
Practically it’s very very difficult to convince shops to join marketplace and keep renew shops, and bring customers traffic, as newly launched marketplace not famous as national level marketplaces.
So kindly seriously rethink about my suggestion, as More and more new shops keep joining and renewing regularly is most important than anything for marketplace ecosystem growth and sustainability.
(So Temporarily Note My Suggestion as “suggestion to rethink” in Referral Roadmap Notes)
With the reference system, both buyers and sellers can become members because they both register first from the normal registration page. So the same system is for both sellers and buyers. In addition, we do not plan to add an additional reference system for sellers. If your membership plans are cheap or you receive low commissions (or no commission for a while), your number of sellers will increase over time. Otherwise, we do not think that any system will increase the number of sellers.

Hi, one ad space is for one ad only. You can enter large values for the ad space size and add multiple ad codes, but we are not sure if this will work (it depends on your ad codes). If you want to add more ads, maybe you can add the ad codes directly into the script codes. Thanks.

Hello, unfortunately, this feature is not available in Modesy script. There is only an option to hide products with the status “Sold.” Editing the code is necessary to move products with the “Sold” status to the end of the list. However, we do not support such custom modifications. If this is a feature you really want, you may consider working with a developer to modify the code.
Hi, can you add certain category to a membership plan? During create membership plan, admin can add select certain category. Or on category edit, admin can add to a membership plan.
Any chance you may add this feature? I am sure this will be useful so that certain category can be charged a fee.

This is not possible because there are many different local payment gateways in different countries. It will not be possible for us to add these local payment options and keep supporting them. We even cannot use most of them because of location restrictions and other verification issues. So you can edit the codes for your website and use it for your website, but we cannot add it to the original product.

Can you control which notifications you get? Do you receive an email once you make a purchase as a buyer and when you get a new order as a seller? Do you receive an email if someone sends you a new message? Also, Is there a workflow on how the payment process works? I see that all the funds go to the administrator so I was curious on how vendors get paid at that point, is the payout direct to a payment gateway they have on file or do they have a wallet that they have to manually withdraw funds from? Hi, yes, you can add new fields for your products. Modesy script has a custom fields feature. If you create a custom field with the new and used options, these options will be visible when adding products and you and your vendors will be able to choose these options for the related products. This is an example and you can create different custom fields and for different categories as well. Hello, yes, our script does not add the order to the database until the payment approved by the payment gateway. That’s why the system does not support the pending payments. If you want to add the order with “pending” status, you need to make some changes in the codes. You also need to add another route (function) to get the payment result from Alipay. After getting the payment result, you can change the order status. Thanks.

You cannot select more than one parent category. However, all products in subcategories also belong to their upper categories. For example, if you have a parent category named ’’Shoes’’ and a subcategory named ’’Women’s Shoes’’, when you add a product to the ’’Women’s Shoes’’ subcategory, this product will be in both the ’’Women’s Shoes’’ and ’’Shoes’’ categories. Similarly, you can further subcategorize products.
