1. We couldn’t exactly understand what you meant by ’’bulletin board’’. However, you also mentioned this in number 5. From what we understand, you are either asking if it’s possible to add products without adding a price to get price requests from customers or adding products without selling them to just advertise them. If you are asking this, then yes, you can do this. Please explain some more if this is not what you meant.
2. You can use the Modesy script as a marketplace. You can enable the multi-vendor feature to accept more vendors on your site and let them sell their products. You can also enable the commission feature and take a commission for each sale on your site. Vendors (sellers) have their own vendor dashboards and can manage their sales without admin interference.
3. Our code is open source, and you can collaborate with a developer to add additional payment gateways. We also have an article named ’’Adding a New Payment Gateway’’ in our Help Center to show how this can be done. However, please keep in mind that such custom edits are not included in item support, and we cannot assist you in this process.
4. Yes, this is correct. Admin receives all payments because sending money directly to the vendors might cause a lot of fraud on your site. After commission is deducted from each sale, the remaining money is reflected in the sellers’ balances. Sellers can request payment when the money in their balances exceeds the minimum payout threshold. Vendors can request this payout from their vendor dashboards.
5. You can disable the multi-vendor system and be the only seller on your site. You can add your products without a buy option to advertise them. You can also add products without adding a price to get price requests from customers. Modesy script also has multiple payment options which you can enable for use on your site. You can see these payment options in the ’’Settings/Payment Settings’’ section of the admin panel. You can enable the multi-vendor system later on to accept more vendors on your site. 1) Admin can enable and disable the marketplace option, classified ads, request quote, selling license keys options and can also disable the product types such as physical and digital products. However admin cannot make these choices for sprecific sellers. Once admin changes one of these settings, this setting will affect all the sellers.
2) Modesy script doesn’t have a feature to automate this process. Admin will set a ’’Minimal payout amount’’ and sellers can request a payout once their balances exceeds this amount. You might consider collaborating with a developer to edit this feature, however, we do not support custom edits and we cannot assist you in this custom editing process.
3) Yes, once you enable the multi-vendor system, others can register to your site and open their shops. You can also menage this shop opening process. For example, you can request certain documents from sellers who wants to open a shop on your site. Or you can disable the vendor verification system to allow all users to open their shops without admin’s approvel.
4) Yes, Modesy script has the search by location feature. You can enable or disable this feature from the ’’Preferences/General’’ section of the admin panel. Once this feature is enabled, there will be a ’’Location’’ section in the top menu of your site. Once a visitor chooses a location from this section, they will only see the products in the choosen location.

However, updating your website when we release a major update will delete your other custom edits. If the custom edits you made are important, you might choose not to update your site or perhaps update it once a year to reduce the times you need to hire a developer. This is up to you.

There is a “change domain” button in the “Licenses” section of our Help Center and when you click on this button and enter your purchase code and new domain, you will generate a new license key. Hello, you do not need an extra license because our script does not require a license for localhost. If you install it to localhost, you will not enter a license key. Also, if you have to work on a live server, you can create your license with your test domain and make your development. Recommended logo dimensions are 180×50px. You can also fold these values proportionally. For example, dimensions of 360×100px would load the same way. However, if your logo’s dimensions are not measured with these values, your logo will be resized without distorting its proportions. For instance, if your logo is measured at 180×180px, even though the horizontal length is exact, it will be resized to fit the logo area because the vertical length is excessive. As a result your logo might look small. Thanks.

For example, you can add a variation named “License” and include options for personal use, commercial use, and unrestricted use. Additionally, you can assign different prices to these license options. When your visitors click on these license options, the prices will adjust accordingly. Moreover, when they select a license option and add the product to the cart, there will be a “(License: Commercial Use)” text displayed next to the product name, indicating the chosen variation.

I want a custom modification on your current codes. Basically, I want all to convert all custom field value as user friendly URL. for example, https://modesy.codingest.com/clothing?fabric=bamboo this link is a Qurey link which filters products. However, i also want another link with the same filter results that should look like this https://modesy.codingest.com/clothing/bamboo and we need this link to appear on the individual product page.
So overall, all the custom field value should generate a user friendly URL that look like this domain.com/parent-category/value and it should also appear on the individual product page.

Hello, if you buy something with the bank transfer payment option, you can send a proof of payment after sending the money from your bank. You can see this option in the order details page. But there is no option to send files with the messaging section. So, this feature you mentioned exists for the marketplace system. It is not available for Classified ads. Maybe you can send it as an email to the email address of the seller. This seems like the only way right now. Thanks.
