Id like to set up a community where users pay a subscription to access the community, so all of the community is locked behind paywall. but courses are public and can be bought, but members get a discount on courses and pay less. From what I understand youzify would be able to lock access but can it also manage subscription payments and offer discounts on courses or things on a woocommerce shop? If not, is there Plugin you could recommend
Hello aipham,
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
Unfortunately, at the moment Paid Membership feature is not available. However, you can use 3rd party plugin such as Paid Membership Pro together with Youzify.
In case you need the Membership Restrictions feature, you can use Youzify Membership Restrictions:
https://youzify.com/downloads/buddypress-membership-restrictions/
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Great plugin. Im moving a site from BB to Youzify, One issue Ive found is when using other plugins such as ‘group locations’ This installs and adds location fields when adding or editing a group on Youzify – However, it looks like Youzify uses its own styling on the Group Archives page, and the link for Group map or filter by location doesnt show.
With Buddypress or BB it shows, but Youzify it doesnt. Is this something that can be looked at?
Hello daihlo,
Thank you for reaching us.
Could you please share with us the URL of the plugins you mean? Because I searched the “group locations” plugin on the WordPress repository but could not find it.
In addition, you can send me screenshots of how the incompatibility looks so we can have a clear idea regarding this issue.

Hello, I would like to ask about these links that cause problems with Google indexing and PageSpeed Insights, as they cannot be crawled because they do not contain the herf attribute. < a class=”youzify-trigger-who-modal youzify-view-all” data-action=”youzify_get_who_liked_post” data-youzify-tooltip=”view all”>+5

Hello, I just have a quick question. When users wants to upload a profile cover image, there is text that says: “For better results, make sure to upload an image that is larger than 1350px wide, and 350px tall.”
I couldn’t replace this text using a snippet and I was not able to find this text in Youzify files, so I noticed that this text is actually coming from BuddyPress plugin itself, but that 1350px and 350px is not defined there.
Could you please tell me where are those numbers defined and how could I chanced them (or the text)?
I use boxed theme (I had to modify the header because Youzify is rendering the header cover image into full width anyway (which makes that cover image look awful with boxed themes). I do not want people to upload the image in 1350×350 resolution but in the one I need.
Thank you very kindly.
Hello Quasimodo88,
Thank you for reaching us.
If you only need to change the Message on the cover upload, you can use this snippet:
https://gist.github.com/KaineLabs/1d8a921ec7ccad2893f53e5691451b20#file-yzc_translate_text-php
However, if you need to modify the cover image width and height too, this involves a custom snippet and some CSS. This type of assistance falls under our active support license benefits.
Renewing your support license will grant you access to our dedicated support team. They can walk you through the modification process and provide tailored code snippets and CSS adjustments.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
Thank you for your prompt answer and the solution. I just need to changed the text, I already did the rest. Thanks again L)
You’re welcome Quasimodo88. I am glad I was able to assist you.

Hallo, Formatting the likes below the post to appear on top of each other in a vertical manner, on iPhones only. What is the solution?
Hello wmasat,
Thank you for reaching us.
I believe it’s a styling issue. Maybe a styling conflict with theme or another plugin.
To effectively troubleshoot this issue, we may need to access the plugin and theme settings within your WordPress admin panel and FTP. This will allow us to isolate the conflict and find a solution.

Hello, I just purchased this plugin. I’ve created a custom tab and it did not adapt the styling of other tabs such as the profile header information, etc. How is the custom tabs function supposed to work? and how does the user post information to the custom tab?
Hello Irvintz,
Thank you for purchasing our plugin.
Since now you able to access our premium support forum, please consider submitting a ticket and our agents will be happy to help

Hello, about to make purchase but need to check first about any function on content restriction? for example certain pages can be set to be only for logged in users, specific group/ community
appreciate if u can clarify, could not find any docs on this
Hello realisophie,
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
Yes, exactly. You can make Youzify pages only can be accessed by logged-in users. Kindly follow the steps in this article:
https://kainelabs.ticksy.com/article/16342/
Please let me know if our plugin you have any other concerns or questions.

your link is for - How to redirect non logged in members to Login Page?
don’t understand what this link is for… this is NOT what I mean.
e.g. If I have 10 wordpress PAGES with content, but I want to RESTRICT 5 pages to be only viewed for members who are logged in, is this possible? so if u are not from a specific group or not logged in, you cannot view those 5 pages
can u understand clearly now?
Hello realisophie,
Thank you for your reply.
The snippet I shared with you is to restrict all of BuddyPress’s pages for non-logged-in members. Including:
- Activity Directory
- Members Directory
- Groups Directory
- Profile Page
- Groups pages
So when non-logged-in visitors try to access those pages, they will be restricted and forced to redirect to the Login Page.
If you need to restrict pages I mentioned above, so the answer is yes. Youzify is able for this kind restriction.
However, if you need more advanced restrictions features such as restricting WordPress pages outside BuddyPress pages, it will require a Youzify Membership Restrictions add-on:
https://youzify.com/downloads/buddypress-membership-restrictions/
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
oic ok got it, link was for buddypress redirect. thanks, yes this is what I mean. Restrict WP pages outside of buddypress
Hello realisophie,
Yes, correct. For WordPress pages restrictions, Youzify Membership Restrictions add-on can handle:

Hello again. Buddypress launched version 12.4.0 today. I am using YZ version 3.4.9. Is it safe to update buddypress?
Thanks
Hello lalalua,
Thank you for reaching us.
We just did some testing and we can not find any issue after updating BuddyPress to the 12.4 version. That means, it’s safe to update your BP.
However, it’s an important thing to always make a full backup before updating the plugin on your website. We strongly suggest you back up your website first before updating your BuddyPress.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
Hello, the latest version is causing me problems with the custom search engine on mysite because I provide other services. Can I get version 3.4.4?
This is an excerpt from the error:
WP_Hook::apply_filters() wp-includes/plugin.php:205 apply_filters() wp-includes/template-loader.php:104 require_once() wp-blog-header.php:19 require() index.php:17
When the plugin is disabled, the site returns to working perfectly, so there is a function or filiter to solve the problem together with the custom search engine?
Please solve the problem, I do not want to reach the decision to change your add-on
Hello wmasat ,
We do not recommend you upgrade your Youzify version because we fixed many bugs from the 3.4.5 to the 3.4.9 version. Also, the 3.4.4 version is not compatible with BuddyPress 12. You need to downgrade your BuddyPress to 11 versions.
Regarding the error, do you install the BP Classic plugin? If yes, please try to disable it.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
I’m actually using the latest version and it’s the one causing me these problems No, I don’t use BP Classic plugin
Would disabling search in your plugin help, is that possible? If so, is there an code to do this?
Hi wmasat,
Can you elaborate please which search you mean?
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
I mainly use a template and plugins services (hivepress.io, TaskHive template), which includes a section for searching for services. When searching, it causes errors in TaskHive plugins, and when you remove your plugin, everything returns to working perfectly. Is there a way to bypass that? I cannot send pictures of the case because comments are not allowed

any answer?
Hello wmasat,
Thank you for elaborating. I understand this can be frustrating, and I appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
I’d like to discuss it with our development team to see if there’s a potential fix we can implement on our end. Since this is a conflict issue with the theme, a solution might require collaboration between our teams and the theme author.
I’ll get back to you by replying to this comment section as soon as possible, with an update on what we find and any next steps.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
Thank you, and I hope you will respond quickly because my site is now down because of this
Hello, I would like to make a note that may be important I tested the free version of the plugin and the result was great, and my site returned to working perfectly, so I think the problem is related to the premium version.
Hello wmasat,
I have discussed this with our developer team. To effectively troubleshoot this issue, we may need to access the plugin and theme settings within your WordPress admin panel and FTP. This will allow us to isolate the conflict and find a solution.
However, we noticed that your support license for Youzify has expired. While we can’t offer in-depth troubleshooting for expired licenses, we do offer a dedicated premium support forum accessible with an active license.
Renewing your support license will grant you full access to our premium support forum. There, our knowledgeable agents can delve deeper into the conflict and provide personalized support until the issue is fixed. You can renew your license by following the steps in this article:

I have a problem with the profile pages after the update. They are now extremely compressed and there is a critical error in the profile. I have already opened a ticket. Please help me quickly.
Hello SchattenZirkus,
Thank you for reaching us.
We have received your ticket and it has been assigned to our agent. He will respond to your ticket shortly.
Regarding the critical error issue, please disable and uninstall the BP Classic. Because the newest version of Youzify is not compatible with that plugin
Please let me know the results once you uninstall the BP Classic plugin already.
Best Regards, kaineLabs Team.
Is there anyway to download older versions the new version broke my website?
Hello savacom100,
I apologize for the inconvenience.
I check your ticket #3605789. I can confirm that our agent has fixed the issue on your website. Kindly check on your side, and please let me know if you have any other concerns.

Hey Team As you can see I have owned your plugin for a number of years but barely ever use it. I want to incorporate the plugin with me website which is vehica theme. However I do not want or need my visitors to sign up or register to use the plugin. I simply want them to veiw the newsfeed and add to it or read it accordingly. When I add the plugin to the theme at the moment the feed is empty unless you sign in (login) I do not need this feature. How can this be acheived? Thanks in advance.
Hello tomoko33,
Thank you for reaching us.
Please contact us through email contact[at]youzify.com. We may discuss about this further.

Hi, i purchased the Bimber theme on ThemeForest which came with Youzer but it was abandoned. I’m trying to upgrade from Youzer to Youzify but my pop up login doesn’t work as it was implemented in the theme. Can you guys help out? Thank you.
Hello jmoreta,
Thank you for reaching us.
The plugin you find inside any theme is considered a Free version. It does not include technical support and updates.
Please consider purchasing a direct license for us where it’s only a one-time payment and you will have 6 months of technical support and lifetime updates.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
I have installed the Free version just to test it out before purchase and here the questions:
I only want to utilize the Groups feature on website and use Paid Membership Pro.
1: I want to show the groups in the directory to non-logged-in users with the JOIN GROUP button how can I do that? 2: When clicking on a group and the user is not logged in there is no option to ask them log in to join or join the group link which redirects them to login/register? 3: Can I show login widget to Group directory? 4: I want to show the member type under First Name – Last name of the group in groups members list 5: How can I link Mambership plugin with yours in case if I am charging to join the group?
Hello mudasirnazar,
Thank you for testing the Free version.
1 and 2. Only logged-in users can join the Groups. However, in the PRO version, we can help you provide a custom snippet to show the “Join” group button for non-logged-in users, if they click it, they will redirect to the Login or Register page.
3. Yes, exactly. Please go to Appearance >> Widget. Add the Youzify – Login widget to the Groups Sidebar. Kindly check the screenshot below:
https://ibb.co/gPp4QYh
4. By default, this option is not available. However, we can help you with a snippet for this custom feature for free if you have a PRO version.
5. It depends on what you need. Do you want specific roles only can join groups (they can join all groups) or do you want specific roles can join only the specific groups?
For the first option, 3rd party membership plugin can handle the payment process for paid membership type. Then, Youzify Membership Restrictions can restrict specific roles that can join the groups.
https://youzify.com/downloads/buddypress-membership-restrictions/
Please note, that you will need Youzify Membership Restrictions that you can purchase separately from the Youzify PRO.
However, if you need the second option, unfortunately, it will require a lot of custom work because such options are not available.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.

Hello lalalua.
Thank you for reaching us and feel free to let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
I have some questions before I purchase this.
1) Can admin create multiple groups? 2) I want to add multiple roles in each group like, Lawyer, Admin, Realist, etc 3) I want each group members can talk to each other? 4) I don’t want them to see other groups 5) Can I charge each group member? Or can I set different price for each group?
Hello mudasirnazar,
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
1. Yes. Admin can create an unlimited number of groups.
2. You can use 3rd party plugin such as User Role Editor:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/
And then add the users with specific roles to the specific groups.
3. Yes. Members can talk to each other both through the Activity Stream or Private Messages.
4. Yes. You can set each group as private so nonjoint members can see the contents of groups.
5. Unfortunately, the Paid Membership system is not available. However, you can use 3rd party plugins such as Paid Membership Pro or Woocommerce Subscription. Based on our experiences, those plugins are working fine with Youzify.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
And they can use the same user name and password they registered currently on the website?
Hello mudasirnazar,
Yes, if your website is WordPress-based, then members can use their current username and password.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.

Hi, I wanted to know if “Youzify Amazon S3” needs “WP Offload Media Lite” to work. Then there are limitations like “WP Offload Media Lite”? That is, can I upload infinite files to Amazon S3 without additional costs? I would like to try to create a small community but I can’t spend a fortune if so many images are inserted on Amazon S3.
thanks but that’s not what I wanted, “WP Offload Media Lite” is not really for me. Thanks anyway
Hello mauink1,
I apologize for the typo and the wrong information. I would like to say that Youzify Amazon S3 add-on does not need another plugin including “WP Offload Media Lite” to work. Because Youzify Amazon S3 has its offload system.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Best regards, KaineLabs Team.
ok, so this changes everything
. Then I also wanted to know, are there any limits in transferring files with the Youzify Amazon S3 plugin, as there are on the WP Offload Media Pro plugin? Can I transfer as many files as I want without additional costs from Youzify Amazon S3?
Can you help me correctly configure Amazon s3 IAM that I can’t? Or the most suitable configuration for transfer security
Thank you
Hello mauink1,
1. Yes, exactly. You can transfer as many files as you want from your current hosting to Amazon S3. No more cost from our side.
2. Yes. We will be happy to help set up the plugin and your Amazon S3.
Please note, that the plugin only can transfer files from Youzify Environment to Amazon S3. Not transferring files outside the Youzify environment.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
Is Youzify Amazon S3 included with “Youzify – BuddyPress Community”? Or should it be taken alone? If it’s alone, can I use “Youzify Amazon S3” with the free version of Youzify?
Hello mauink1,
Youzify Amazon S3 is not included in the Youzify Pro version. You can purchase it separately on our website:
https://youzify.com/downloads/buddypress-amazon-s3-integration/
Yes, you can use it with the Youzify Free version. No need Pro version.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
I have issues finding a template that works with this script. I’m now using Anesta, and forums, group forums and buddy press docs all look messy
Would you provide a fix if I’m willing to pay
Hello Callmeseo,
Thank you for reaching us
Can you please shoot us an email at contact[at]yozuify.com? We need to check and discuss it with you regarding this issue first.

So, BP came out with a new update. Is Youzify compatible? Can I update BP?
Hello lalalua,
Thank you for reaching us
We have tested Youzify with BuddyPress 12.3 and everything is working fine. We can not find any issue. However, we strongly recommend to backup your website first before updating the BuddyPress.
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
