Hi, presales question – does your plugin support marker groupings?
We need a hotspot plugin to go over a custom image, but there is a large number of hotspots – I wondered if your plugin supported zooming and grouping, so the default view shows say 10 markers, you click into a marker and it zooms to reveal 10 further markers within that grouping (if that makes sense?)

I followed the instructions and added an image-only hotspot up where it says “koi pond”. The pin is there but the image isn’t popping up. Help!
Hi, you have added an overlay that is on top of the hotspot image (search for the et_pb_button_module_wrapper et_pb_button_0_wrapper et_pb_button_alignment_center et_pb_module in the console). If you remove it it will work as expected.
As a workaround you can add
.wpcmtt_hotspot_container { float: none !important; }
to your CSS.

Hi – Setting up my my first image hotspot set. I’m using font awesome icons for the markers. The HTML for the has the icon attached to an tag which is distorting the icon (I’m using the bullseye). Can this be changed to a different tag? I can’t find a setting…

Hi and sorry for the delayed answer. Unfortunately we do not give this option (to rename the hotspots).
The same goes for the hotpot itself (it doesnt how which you want to change). But the reverse way is supported. You can click the hotspot on the backend, and the relative hotspot will open on the right.

I encounter some difficulties with the width of the text space located in: Image hits pots Global settings/ Image Hotspots/text
- as I have a lot of information to put, How to change the writing space, it is narrow and Long, how to increase the width ? - To make this space appear, on the map you have to put the pointer of the souse on the Hotspot tooltip1, and it appears. But the problem is that you can’t raise or lower this space without it disappearing. As soon as the pointer island deviates from the Hotspot tooltip1 the text box disappears. This is a real problem for me because all the information contained in the area is in length, and I do not have access to all the information.
- I have hundreds of Hotspot tooltip on a map, to find one I have to look for a part one. It would be easier for me to find it if I could change Hotspot tooltip by the name in question.

Bonjour, je rencontre quelques difficultés avec la largeur de l’espace texte situé dans : Image hotspots Global settings/ Image Hotspots/text - comme j’ai beaucoup d’informations à mettre, Comment modifier l’espace d’écriture, il est étroit et Long, comment agrandir la largeur?
- Pour faire apparaître cet espace, sur la carte il faut mettre le pointeur de la souse sur le Hotspot tooltip1, et il apparaît. Mais le problème est qu’on ne peut pas monter ou descendre cet espace sans qu’il disparaisse. Dès que l’îlot du pointeur s’écarte du Hotspot tooltip1 la zone de texte disparaît. C’est un vrai problème pour moi car toutes les informations contenues dans la zone sont en longueur, et je n’ai pas accès à toutes les informations.
- J’ai des centaines d’infobulles Hotspot sur une carte, pour en trouver une je dois en chercher une partie une. Il me serait plus facile de la retrouver si je pouvais changer Hotspot tooltip par le nom en question.

If you want more space for the text, you can do the following:
Go to the top right of your screen and click Screen Options. Then on Layout, click 1 column.

- The dimensions of the note area do not change.

Le slide ne permet pas non plus de voir toute la note. Comment mettre plusieurs vidéos et plusieurs photos dans la note ?

Hello, When installing and using ultimate tooltips, My entire database disappeared in WordPress Dashboard, and I got an error message, could you help me fix it. Thank you.
The error occurred after the creation of a point image, which I integrated into a drop-down menu.
After this action, the drop-down menu located in the Dashboard has disappeared.
In other words, I no longer have access to this menu, I can no longer modify it.
On the other hand, when I go to the site I have access to this menu.

Je vous remercie. L’erreur c’est produit après la création d’une image de point, que j’ai intégré à un menu déroulant. Après cette action, le menu déroulant situé dans le Dashboard a disparu. Hi there! I’m having a bit of a problem. I made a tooltip and attached it to a link with no destination. I did this to have the tooltip appear when a user hovered over the link for the specific word. But now this tooltip is randomly appearing on other pages with links and in tables from Tablepress and I don’t understand why. It’s definitely not a behavior I want to keep. I had to turn off the plugin since this behavior would have been apparent on our public website. Any ideas? What info can I furnish that would help diagnose the source of the problem?
Hi. You should add the tooltip to a specific div (with an ID), so that it appears only on it. Seems like you have added the tooltip to a more general class, and the tooltip show whenever this class appears.
Thanks, that solved my issue. Do you have any documentation for stuff like this? It took me a bit to figure out how to create the ID and match it in the tooltip settings. I’m not a programmer-so this was a little out of my wheelhouse. I assume that I can “reuse” the ID if I ever want the same tooltip to pop up in a different spot. Which would make sense…

There is no certain documentation. As we mention here, you can use any css selector. This works exactly like css. So yes, if you put the same ID in another element the same tooltip will pop up.
There is no limit. But since the tooltips are rendering on page load, If you want to have for example 100 tooltips this means that 100 divs with the content of tooltips will be rendered in your DOM.
Moreover, when you create a tooltip, there is an option called “Post IDs” where you can enter the post IDs where you want the tooltip to be rendered.
I’m trying to do an image hotspot with tooltips. Everything looks good in the preview before I publish (the hotspot icon shows) but then when I insert the Image Hotspot Shortcode into my page (using Divi), and publish the page, there are no hotspots. I go back to the image hotspot builder and everything looks correct but the icon isn’t showing in the preview now. What is going on?
