hi, pre-sales question… does the system will able to generate QR code for each student?
Yes system will generate QR Code for each student. System can also generate bar code for each staff.
is discount offer over?
50% discount offer on regular license is still continue. If you can check our addon prices are $49 but this QR Code Attendance addon is currently aviliable at $24 price which is 50% discount of regular price $49.
Also Try to Improve the scanning. Method as there are many fast scanning QR code scanners compared to this one yours is very slow and require clear view, so improve its reading performance if you can, and also add the Flashlight ON/OFF thing, also adjust the multiple reading of the same QR code thing,

PLEASE IMPROVE THIS ADDON, PRACTICALLY AT THIS POINT THIS ADDON IS MISSING MANY IMPORTANT FEATURES THAT EVERY SCHOOL AND COLLEGE NEEDS TO FUNCTION PROPERLY:
1) Attendance Time should be shown. (the time when attendance was taken)
2) Late / Half Day Attendance should be shown as per time selected by the admin, e.g if 0900 time is set for late, then any attendance after 0900 should be considered late, if 1100 is set for half day, any attendance taken after 1100 should be considered Halfday. Attendance status should be shown as late or Halfday on the screen as applicable.
3) Staff attendance should include IN and OUT attendance, when they arrive at the institute, they should scan the QR code to get time noted. Point No. 2 should also apply to staff. When they are leaving, they should punch in again to let the system note down OUT time.
4) When nothing is scanned that day should be marked as ABSENT
5) For holidays admin should be able to PRESET in calendar about the holidays for the whole year. This present should be allowed to copy to the next session. So that they don’t have to over work the same thing.
Hope you will consider it and give us an updated version as soon as possible. I admire QDOCS team for coming up with a bright idea every time. But adapting a proper software feature plan is the most important thing.

It has been 11 months and there is no update for this addon. We are stuck with using the 1st version. 1.0. When can we expect an update with the features requested?
We will try to make the session start month in the holiday calendar, and we are working on the QR Code version update, which is expected to be released soon with the upcoming update of Smart School.
I would want to buy this addon but qr codes are not showing on my students in version 7 even after enabling in settings

does it works on smart school 6.4.1 ?
It has a bug which, don’t allow the admin to insert the value i mean if he wants to set it to the “LATE” it doesn’t allow them to set. the value of the attendance it automatically set to present and pass to the next scan. also, it takes redundant scan of one QR/Barcode, and it’s also a problem so please fix it as soon as possible as i like it and want to buy it, also tell me if its compatible with smart school 6.4.1?
I face these problems when using the mobile phone to scan, I don’t check it through pc, but it should be updated as the organizer will use their phone most of the time.
Smart School QR Code Attendance addon will not work with Smart School version 6.4.1 and work with Smart School version 7.0.0.
