Hi, I’m using the plugin and it’s very functional, thank You. But I have a question, I’m using categories to display entries on one map (with different markers). Is it possible to display only basic marker for all my entries in another map ? Thank you for your answer.

Hello,

Yes, This is possible. You can pass the category parameter to filter out the locations by category. here are the details – https://www.wpmapspro.com/docs/what-are-the-shortcode-parameters-you-can-use-on-the-google-maps-plugin/

So if you have assigned basic category then you can use [put_wpgm category=basic] to filter only basic locations.

I hope I was able to answer your question correctly. if not, please let me know.

Presale Question: Is it possible to tie products in Woocommerce to each individual stores? That when user click Find Stores under product description, users will be directed to the map of stores selling the product.

I’m looking for a way to have a input box on my website so I can write an address there, or whatever I need, and it loads the page where the map is, zooming in to that location. Basically I need to have the exact functionality that happens with the “search box” inside the map, but I need that outside the map. How can I do that?

Hi,

I am using WordPress users on Google Maps. I want to show an additional field on the profile page. Currently, it only has a name and address field by default. How can I add additional fields so users can fill them during the signup process?

Hi, I’m using a custom post type to display multiple posts on the map, based on a custom metas for coordinates and I’ve installed the Search extension so I could use the form to search for locations. Unfortunately, neither that nor the search inside the map are working.

Is it some problem when we are using a post to display locations?

Shouldn’t the search work always independently of if we use a custom post or directly inserted locations on the map?

Thanks!

Ok, this is clearly a bug that you have because on your own website, this search filter do not work! Here’s your own example: https://www.wpmapspro.com/example/filter-by-category-in-google-maps/?search=phoenix

I figured out that if I activate the listing bellow the map, it does filter. But that’s a bug that needs to be fixed because it shouldn’t be necessary to have the listing to be able to filter in the map. I’ve simply hidden the listing with CSS but that’s not a good practice.

Also, it would be interesting if you had an option to search by “nearest locations” where the user would insert something like an address and it would zoom into that address in the map. With this, the user would only see the points close to that location. Similar to what happens with “Locate me” but with a search by address instead. Think about it!

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us for support. We appreciate your trust in our services and are committed to assisting you promptly. Rest assured, we’ll do our best to resolve your issue and provide you with the assistance you need.

1. Yes, URL filters only work with the listing enabled.

2. https://www.wpmapspro.com/example/filter-by-category-in-google-maps/?search=phoenix – This is not working because we didn’t enable the listing and we didn’t enable the URL filter for this map as well. Each map can have its own settings.

3. Surely we’ll discuss the possibilities of using the URL filters if listing is not enabled as well in our project meeting.

4. Thanks for your suggestion and we’ll discuss this in our meeting.

Thank you once again for considering our plugin. We look forward to working with you.

Beautiful and impressive plugin! Is it possible to have featured locations, i.e, museums always be at the top and restaurants and hotels after in search results?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us for support. We appreciate your trust in our services and are committed to assisting you promptly. Rest assured, we’ll do our best to resolve your issue and provide you with the assistance you need.

It’s not possible to make a location featured and comes always in the top though we have an order by category priority but search will be applied in the all locations instead of ignoring the featured locations.

Though our customisation team can help you to achieve this requirement. let me know if you have any other question.

Hi, I am interest in purchasing WP MAPS PRO. I would the map to just display electric vehicle charging stations in Australia only. Is there an option to set in your plugin to tell Google Map to display EV charging only. Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us for support. We appreciate your trust in our services and are committed to assisting you promptly. Rest assured, we’ll do our best to resolve your issue and provide you with the assistance you need.

No, We don’t have this functionality in our plugin but if you can show us any example of similar map, we’d like to have a look and check if we can provide this solution.

Best Regards Sandeep Kumar

Thanks for your reply. I would like to use Google map api resource to display electric vehicles charging stations like the ev charging map show on this url: https://electricvehiclecouncil.com.au/about-ev/charging/

Hello,

It seems that these locations are manually added. And this way you can do this easily. But there are built-in amenities in the google maps – https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/places/web-service/supported_types – Our plugin supports all these but we don’t see the EV Charging Station or similar in this list.

With our plugin, you can import EV Charging station in bulk if you have a list and then you can customize the listing or infowindow messages as you want.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to assist you and provide the best possible solution.

Hi there, I purchased the license of your product.

I would like to know if there is a way to make each different infowindow balloon clickable, leading to its own link. If it’s not possible to make the entire infowindow clickable, there’s a way to add a custom button (in terms of design) that performs this function? Thanks in advance, Andrea

Hello,

Please check below example.

https://www.wpmapspro.com/example/real-estate-listings/ – In this example, Real Estate is a parent category and 1-BHK, 2-BHK etc are child categories.

Let me know if you’re looking something else!

Hello, I work for the municipality of a city, and we are interested in geolocating the aid provided by the government.

Approximately 20 people will manage the website, and they will be responsible for uploading locations along with photos of the houses and individuals who have received aid. I need the plugin to have a filtering feature that allows searches by ‘verifier.’ In other words, I want to be able to see how many households a person has visited and what types of aid they have distributed.

Additionally, I need the ability to divide the information by sectors. I live in a municipality that needs to be segmented into 30 or 40 distinct sectors. Therefore, when those responsible for uploading aid information click to upload a location, it should automatically be assigned to one of these sectors.

Lastly, it’s important that the plugin has different levels of access for members:

Verifier: Can only see the information they have uploaded themselves. Head of Verifiers: Can see the information uploaded by a specific group of verifiers. Moderator: Can see the information uploaded by a certain number of verifiers. Administrator: Can see all the information. What other features does this plugin offer that could be useful for tracking government aid? What type of membership would you recommend I purchase? Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us for support. We appreciate your trust in our services and are committed to assisting you promptly.

I have understood your requirements and below are the dos and don’ts of this plugin according to your requirements.

Do’s -

1. Show all locations with photos of houses and individuals on Google Maps and a listing below the Google Maps. e.g – https://www.wpmapspro.com/example/service-center-listings/

2. Show filter by Verifier and Sectors. Both will be extra fields and will be assigned to each location. e.g – https://www.wpmapspro.com/example/filters-on-markers-listing-in-google-maps/

Don’t -

1. Level of Access of members. 2. Assign automatically to the sectors

For your requirement, Lisiting and Filterings features will be very useful and I’d recommend that make each submission as a post, instead of a location so more information can be added later.

Go with a Regular License with one-time pricing. The pricing model is very simple and you don’t have to pay recurrently.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to assist you and provide the best possible solution.

Thank you once again for considering our plugin. We look forward to working with you.

Best Regards Sandeep

Hi there, I am interested in purchasing this plugin as well as the additional add on search widget. One question I have, is if the resulting locations/pins on the map can be redirected to a page on the website. For example, if the map has 30 locations listed – and all locations have a page on the parent site – can I redirect the results on the map (the pins) to their specific page on the site vs. to Google Maps or the GMB page for the location? Thanks for your time!

Hello,

Yes, You can associate each page with a location and by clicking on the marker/pin, redirect on the page. e.g – https://www.wpmapspro.com/example/display-posts-on-google-maps/ – If you click on a title, you’ll be redirected to the dedicated page.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to assist you and provide the best possible solution.
