I bought the plugin and configured it as the document. But I don’t see any “Partial COD” option in my checkout page similar to the demo. Do you have any video tutorial for this?

Hi Team, can this plugin be used to collect the Fixed COD Charges of Rs 200/- for all COD orders i.e Risk Free COD and also can some products & its variants be restricted for COD?
Hi, Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
Yes, the plugin can be used to collect fixed partial COD charges.
However, the option for fixed charges per product is currently under development and will be included in the upcoming update.
You can expect this update to be available within the next two weeks.

Hello, I want to know if i can set the cash on delivery option as DEFAULT on checkout, which means they don’t need to tick the box.
Hello,
Thank you for showing interest in our plugin.
I want to acknowledge that the option to set partial cash on delivery (partial COD) as the default payment method is currently on our to-do list. However, I must mention that we don’t have an estimated time of arrival for when this feature will be incorporated.

pre-order questions: 1- I want to set up a rule for my COD (pay 2 times), 1 time when ordering, and 1 time for customers to pay after COD, is this ok?
2- Can I set the association rule according to the condition? For example, for some products with a price of over 100$ will have to pay 10% upfront, and for products under 100$ will have a fixed fee upfront of 10$?
And I can’t place an order on your demo site.
Thank you for considering our plugin!
Rest assured, our plugin is fully capable of handling all the functions you mentioned. To get a firsthand experience of its capabilities, I invite you to visit our demo site at the following link: https://demo.zendcrew.cc/partial-cod/

Hi,
Thank you for choosing our plugin.
I’m glad to inform you that the “WooCommerce Partial COD – Payment Gateway Restrictions & Fees” plugin is capable of implementing a cart discount based on both the product price and shipping cost. However, I recommend testing the implementation on our demo site before making a purchase. This will allow you to verify that the plugin meets your specific requirements.
Best regards, ZendCrew
Can you share exact flow how I can achieve? I tried on demo but not able to do. Thank you
Hi, After thoroughly reviewing the functionality you mentioned, it appears that none of our plugins are currently capable of implementing such specific functionality. This limitation is due to how WooCommerce calculates cart totals.
WooCommerce follows a specific order when calculating totals: first, it calculates product totals, then discount totals, and finally includes shipping costs. Unfortunately, this sequence restricts the implementation of the desired functionality you mentioned.
If you have any further questions or need assistance with any other aspect, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Thank you for understanding.
Best regards, zendcrew
Thanks for reply
Thank you
Can you share changelog?
Hello, Thank you for choosing our plugin.
We would like to inform you that the changelog is included within the plugin’s files. Additionally, we have now made it available on the item’s page.
Thank you
Hi, I just checked backend demo. Found that, when we make Partial Payment using card; the order in backend is created and its payment mode is “Card” or whatever mode we are using.
But, I want that payment mode should be “Cash on Delivery” because when my shipping partner pull the orders through API, it takes that order as Prepaid, not as COD.
Is it possible?
Any update?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us. We apologize for the delayed response as we were away on vacation.
Regarding your question about the plugin’s ability to change order payment methods, we want to inform you that our current version does not support this feature. However, this is intentional, as adding such functionality could lead to conflicts with other payment method plugins.
However, WooCommerce do offer the option to manually change the payment method for individual orders within the admin area. We understand that this can be a cumbersome process and are actively looking for ways to automate it.
We appreciate your interest in our plugin and thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.
Best regards, zendcrew
For an Example, a user on my site is going to buy a product of $300 (For COD orders I configured $5 as Partial payment.), in checkout page it shows correct calculation but while placing the order, instead of charging only Partial payment(i.e., $5) it charges whole amount (i.e., $300).
Please solve my issue.

i’m interested in purchasing this plugin is it possible to implement partial COD for some customers and not for others for example i want to implement partial cod payment for those who have already rejected previous order on doorstep and not for others.
Hi,
thanks for your interest in our plugin.
Yes, it does allow you to implement partial code based on customer data such as user ID, user role, user meta field, and purchase history.
However, it does not have the rejected order function whatsoever.
Thank you
zendcrew
Great work!
