I cannot believe that there is no swatch plugin that automatically gets the picture of the product that is already in WooCommerce. I have tried more than five product swatch plug ins. All of them need manual configuration of images per product and per attribute. It is so time consuming, especially if you do not sell colors but prints of different kinds for each product.

But if you want to display variations under the variation images which are already set manually for the WooCommerce variable product, our plugin has the option for that.

It turns out that I have thousands of products, with different variations images, I have uploaded those images and I have defined them at the variations tab at the product editing page. So I would like to understand how does your plugin show the image at this “Variation Image” at the display type configuration from your plugin.

You know that WooCommerce attributes include: Global and Custom attributes.
To set the swatch type and swatch profile for attributes, you can follow the following instructions:
+ For global attributes: Go to Global attributes > select: Display type and swatches profile for attributes
+ For custom attributes – Premium feature: Go to Variation Swatches > Custom attributes and configure there.
+ If some attributes of a product have their own characteristic, let’s set them on each product page: see this.
So to quickly set them to display in the variation image type, please see #1 and #2 above.

HI. Got a pre-sales query regarding a feature that is very important for my client. We sell mosquito nets of various sizes. The sizes are categorized as Single, Double, Queen & King. Each of these sizes has some measurements in it. let’s say Single has 2.5’X6’, double has 4’x6ft. Now user selects Single. and selects 2.5’x6’ from the list. In all swatches, at this point, Double, Queen and King become unselectable. The user has to click clear. Instead, what we want is, user selects Single>2.5’. Double, Queen & King should still be active. After selecting Single>2.5’ if I click king, it should show the sizes that are under king. Is this possible with this plugin?

Our plugin does its functions to design WooCommerce variations under swatches, the feature you want seems to force the attributes to appear conditionally and it is not our plugin function.
However, we would need you to confirm if this can be achievable with WooCommerce by default.

2. The attribute has been set to “hide” on our demo shop page, so the product images will not change until all attributes are visible and variations of each attribute have been selected. This is a feature of WooCommerce. However, please be assured that the product images should change when choosing attributes on the shop page. We will adjust the settings on our demo for future reference.

For example, A product has the attribute “Color”. It contains 4 colors. Customers can pick only one by default, but we would like to allow them to select multiple colors.

It appears that your request is not related to the function of our plugin. Our plugin specifically focuses on customizing the appearance of attribute variations under the swatch styles.
WooCommerce itself only allows the selection of one variation in this case, and our plugin follows this behavior.

Thank you for updating me about the image slider. For the select type, you would need to assign it with “Button Design” swatches profile to make it look better. However, for now we don’t have function to show the thumb image in “Select” type, I’m afraid.

It’s okay then maybe I can’t use this plugin, cause the slider is most important things for my site and that want to show only whenever it’s exists 5 items. Otherwise it’s not logical to use for lower amounts of attributes.

In the demo (https://authentic.new2new.com/home-6/shop/alaster-smalley/) I see that the style attribute has the 2 images of the variation and not the image of the attribute, how can I place the images automatically without having to select each one from the media library, it turns out that I have thousands of products and it would be a daunting task.
In the documentation I can see that the options for “Display Type” are:
Display Type: Display global attributes in different types: Button, Color, Image, Variation Image, Radio, Select, and Theme Default ( user’s theme default design of variation).
However the plugin I only see: Button, Color, Image, Select, Radio, here is the screenshot https://imgur.com/gallery/A1fBkGg “Variation Image” is missing it seems silly but really just buy the plugin for this reason.

It’s because on the demo site, you actually need to select a valid variation so the image could change. You can try on the single product page, the image only changes when all attributes are selected. Therefore on the product list, it shows only specific attributes and hides the rest, so the image can’t be changed.

Our plugin can do the “Höhe (mm)”, and the grey background with CSS. But the input field of “Breite (mm)” and the price changing is not WooCommerce variations, it’s more like extra product option. Our plugin can’t do this.

I’m afraid you can’t use 2 variation swatches plugins on the same site. It’ll cause compatibility issue. Actually, there’s conflict when you have 2 plugins with same function.

I was able to get your plugin working with the other variation plugin and there doesn’t seem to be an issue.
Question: I have a main variation for Colour, Size and Finish so I want the variations to appear for each product without them stacking on top of each other. For example, one product will display variations for size and the one beside it will display variations for Colour. Can I determine which product will show the single variation I want so they don’t stack on top of each other?

The image only changes when you select “Style”. It’s just configuration, if you want, we can change that to “Color”
