Hi, great plugin, is it possible to autofill the quotation form fields with the customer’s information once they are logged in?
Hi,
thank you for your appreciation!
Great idea, I’ve just released the new 3.2 version that implements this new feature: https://nimb.ws/I7mbW1
I hope you enjoy… if so, please consider leaving the 5 stars…It would help me with sales, I would reeeeeally appreciate it!

Wow!, awesome, thank you! you can count on those 5 stars
Hi, another thing, the remove button on the products table doesn’t seem to work I need to put zero on the count then update so I can remove any item, is this something I did wrong on my end?
Hi,
from my tests those features works as expected. I, however, could be missing something. Please use the demo site: https://codecanyondemo.work/wcqt/ (user: demo, pass: demo) to recreate your scenario. Report to me if you experience the issue and in case how to experience it.
If not, something in your installation might be interfering. Try disabling the other plugins (expecially caching plugins) to see if you still experience the issue.
Try also to please enable the WordPress debug mode and debug log ( https://wp-staging.com/docs/enable-wordpress-debug-log-mode/ ). To do that insert the following lines in the wp-config.php you find on the root of your site:define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );reperform the test and see if more clues are reported in the debug.log located in the wp-content folder. Thank you.
Good morning, We have bought the plugin so that on request products you can request a quote. But we see that if the product or variation does not have a price, the option to request a price is not shown. Do you know how to fix this? Thanks in advance
SETTING 2 OPTIONS EXCLUDE PRODUCT (WITH PRICE): https://prnt.sc/gD_LLRIkL4Pz VARIA.PRODUCT https://prnt.sc/mARBhs0SR3-T SIMP. PRODUCT https://prnt.sc/oj3LhzuoOqJcI’m sorry, I’m not sure to fully understand your scenario. A few questions:
- What do you mean if the product or variation doesn’t have a price? Did you set any price for them?
- What do you mean that the option to request a price is not shown? Do you mean the request quote button?
- Please use the following site: https://codecanyondemo.work/wcqt/wp-admin/ (user: demo, pass: demo) to recreate your scenario and report to me a step-by-step guide on how to experience the issue. I’ll perform some further tests. Thank you for your collaboration
Thanks in advance. Regards Gloria
- This is the normal behavior of WooCommerce. If you do not set any price, it will not even list the product among the option the customer can select
- If you do not set any price, WooCommerce won’t trigger any action to allow third-party plugin to inject their stuff (as it happens for the add to quote button
Thanks for your answer. So what is the setting? We have tried to put €1 and hide the price to request a quote. But then the produts with price whta can be purchased, hide add to cart and nor display price. We need to show the price and send the products with a price to the cart and request a quote for the products of €1 (on request) Is it possible or can’t the plugin do it? Regards
ok, clear! Apologize for the inconveniente! Please update to the latest 2.8 version I’ve just released!
It now implements a more refined method for variation. Now if you just set only some variations to be quotable, their price won’t be displayed among the product prices and selecting it, its price won’t be displayed. The add to cart button will automatically changed with the “add to quote” button: https://nimb.ws/xRvyGY
Thank you very much, I’m going to try it right now and tell you what happens.
cross fingers!
P.s. I’ve released a new 2.9 update, try that eventually
Ok, I have seen I have downloaded 2.7 again. I will repeat the download. Thanks
Ok, please try the 3.0. There was an issue with the “exclusion” option.
I try it and inform you. Thanks for your help
You’re welcome!
Good morning, thank you very much for your collaboration. Now if you send the product to the cart if it is not excluded, but it does not show a price. In other words, the excluded products have to show a price to be able to buy. https://prnt.sc/wT1N_lVBm7Hi
Other matter—-> Now when it is sent to budget it does not go to the budget list. https://prnt.sc/kIZfgvxSB9ge and list https://prnt.sc/kYSOP8cYoZkp
Thank you for reporting, please update to the latest 3.1 it should fix the pricing issue.
Regarding the add to the quote list issue, from my tests all works as expected: https://nimb.ws/AKTrtk
Please, once updated, purge any kind of cache. If the issue persist, try using the demo site to recreate you scenario and report to me how to experience it. I’ll investigate further!
Thank you very much, I’m trying it now
Now the price is displayed but SEND TO CART, it doesn’t work
And but REQUEST QUOTE doesn’t work either
Did you purged your cache? Please use the demo site to recreate the scenario.
From my test all works as expected (https://codecanyondemo.work/wcqt/product/deep-sweep-2-bha-pore-cleaning-toner-with-moringa/ ):- configuration: https://nimb.ws/a8XyPo
- excluded variation: https://nimb.ws/zrAi9g
- quotable variation: https://nimb.ws/vg6i7Q
Yes, it works in demo. The question is what version of WC is installed? Here WC status has been broken. In the console I can see this notice: JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.3.2
The demo runs the latest 7.7.1 version. Eventually, ensure there isn’t any other plugin interfering.
Hello again. I have already updated WC and turned off 2 plugins and everything works ok. Now I send you the email for the client and in yours it can answer automatically, in mine its different. is it some configuration? Thanks in advance. https://prnt.sc/RHjALlhagx1R
Hi,
I’m sorry but that’s not depend on the plugin, but more on the email client you are using
Meanwhile, I would ask you for help: If you enjoyed my efforts to assist you and/or my plugin please consider leaving the 5 stars…It would help me with sales, I would really appreciate it!
(to leave a rating: go to your profile page, click on “Downloads” and from there you can rate your purchases.
You can also leave the rating through the plugin description page: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v6zaoe0p6cs4x2o/rating.png?dl=0 )
Thank you very much for your help and your interest. Of course I give you 5 stars and I recommend you as the author and your plugin
Thank you!
For products that have already been ordered Online shop, you can find all the information about the return deadlines in your customer account under “Orders” or on the return page .
I’m sorry, how is this related with the WooCommerce Quote plugin?
Hello,
I just bought your plugin and I experience two small problems.
First, the “add to cart” button is hidden for the products that are not selected for quote. My exclusion policy setting is the “the selected products are ones for which can be asked for a quote” and I choose one product in the “select product” field. For that one product there is a “add to quote” button but for the rest of the products there’s no button at all.
Second, the option to change the “add to quote” button text doesn’t seem to work. I change it in the backend but it doesn’t seem to translate in the frontend.
Thanks!
Hello,
thank you for purchasing.
- From my tests all seems working as expected: https://nimb.ws/AExRLO . I need more clues if the issue is actually caused by the plugin or a 3rd party plugin interference. Please try using the following site: https://codecanyondemo.work/wcqt/wp-admin/ (user: demo, pass: demo) to recreate your configuratio and report to me if you are experiecing the issue. I’ll perform some further analysis
- Thank you for reporting. Please update the plugin to the latest 2.2 version, it will fix the issue
Hello,
Thanks for the quick reply
I should have been more specific maybe, the add to cart button doesn’t show up in the product page not in the shop page. This seems to be happening in the demo also.
Also, a “quotes” page under “my account” doesn’t seem to have been created. There is a Quotes option in the my account menu but when I click it a get a 404 error.
In the email settings, the accepted quote email editor is also bugged. When “visual” is selected by default, the text area is empty and when I click on “text” it doesn’t change, I have to refresh the page for it to change and then I can’t change back to “visual”. Also the settings at the top are missing ( Formars, Paragraph, Bold, Italics, etc)
Thank you for reporting.
- Regarding the add to cart button, please update to the latest 2.3 version I’ve just released
- Regarding the “my account” area, I’m not able to experience the issue. From my test it works as expected: https://nimb.ws/YfMDZA . Make sure that the following options have a proper value: https://nimb.ws/KWSyau . Try also to disable the other 3rd party plugin, one of them might be interfering with the endpoint defined by the quote plugin. If none of this helped, if you share a wp-admin and FTP access, I can try performing some further analysis.
- please update to the latest 2.3, it will fix the issue
Hello,
Thanks for the reply.
1. When I download the plugin I still get the 2.1 version
2. This issue got fixed by itself, I don’t really now how, I disabled everything and it worked, and when I enabled again it kept working so I don’t know what the issue was.
I also have a few more issues and some more bugs to report.
1. When I add a quote, the %d items in quote number doesn’t change. The only way for it to change is if I visit the quote-request page.
2. When the user sumbits the quote form. If he forgets to include .com in the email, the website gets a fatal error. For example if I type test@test and submit I will get a fatal error. It doesn’t have to be specifically .com but it needs to be .something for it to not get a fatal error.
3. This question is about after the user has submitted a quote and how I can change the price. Right now the product that can be quoted has a 10$ price, tax included. When I change the price here ( https://prnt.sc/KN8hqpwFQUrm ), if I change the total to 20$ it then adds the tax and makes the total 24.80$. Right now it seems that im able to change the price the item subtotal and the tax. I would like to be able to change the price of the order total so that I don’t have to calculate the taxes my self every time.
Sorry for the ton of messages and thanks for being so helpful so far!
Keep up the good work!
I forgot to add my websites link. Right now it is on a local server but I can share alive link
Open Live Link:https://pleasant-learning.localsite.io
If prompted, enter the information below.
Username: receipt Password: guiltless
I have another small question to ask
Is there a way for the menu link to be visible only after the customer has made a quote?
- Please try updating now. CodeCanyon sometimes takes a while to publish updated
- This could be a caching issue. Once you add a product to the quote basket the page is reloaded, so the menu is showing the number of items on the quote basked. In the https://pleasant-learning.localsite.io you shared, I cannot understand which products are quotable, so I cannot perform any test. Please perform some tests in the demo site (https://codecanyondemo.work/wcqt/ ) and report if you get the issue even in there
- Please update to the latest 2.4 version I’ve just released. There was an issue with the validation process
- On the 2.4 you will find an option for that: https://nimb.ws/ufJgrV
Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
Most of your changes work fine in the new version but I still have a few problems from stuff I mentioned before and some newer ones.
1. The issue about %d items in quote number I don’t think its a caching issue because I’m working on a local environment. I made all the products in my site quotable so you can test it yourself. The menu item is supposed to be on the top right corner next to the cart button. When you add an item for quote, you can see that the “%d items in quote number” menu item flashes for a second and then dissapears again.
2. You didn’t answer the question I had about the price. Is there a way to change the final price of the quote without having to calculate the tax myself? If the customer quotes a product that costs 10$ including tax, right now I can’t change the price to 20$ without having to calculate the tax myself.
3. I noticed another issue in the quote-request page. I’m using the Flatsome theme and in its settings there is an option for the cart to “Auto update on quantity change”. When this is enabled It hides the “Update Quantity” button but the auto update doesn’t work in the quote-request page. Meaning if I have this option enabled, there is no way for me to change the quantity of an item that is quotable.
Thanks again for your work!
Adding to the comment above, until now I did most of my test in my local environment. I tried doing some test in the live link I sent above, and the plugin is not really working. I add a quote, I get the message “%s added to quote list” but when I visit the quote-request page it is empty, nothing is added
- I can perform further tests, but I need a wp-admin and FTP access. Meanwhile, what steps must I take to experience the issue on the https://pleasant-learning.localsite.io site? I cannot find any quotable product
- Sorry, I forgot. The quote is a WooCommerce order. WooCommerce doesn’t have any feature to modify the final price directly
- I’m sorry, that’s a custom feature implemented by FlatSome. I don’t know how it is designed so I cannot extend the plugin to grant the support for that. You should eventually contact their support to make sure that that feature doesn’t alter the quote update button.
When I’m in the plugin activation page, it says. “The “localhost” domain will not consume activations. Please enter the following data and hit the activation button”. I have activated the plugin in two local websites using Local WP. I tried activating in a live website and it says that I have reached the number max number of domains
If you visit the shop page ( https://pleasant-learning.localsite.io/shop/ ) you can see 6 products. All the products are quotable.
I can’t really provide you a wp-admin access as this is a public forum
This might happen if the SERVER_NAME PHP server variable returns a domain instead of the “localhost” string.
If you send me a private message (click on my name then use the low-right box) reporting your email and the purchase code, I can verify and reset it.
Regarding the https://pleasant-learning.localsite.io/shop/ , the issue could be related to the custom “quick view” dialog. That’s a custom feature of the theme that might prevent the product to be properly added to the quote list (it might be that once the add to quote button is pressed it reloads the page without giving the time to add the product to the quote basked).
If you send me in the private message an wp-admin and FTP access I can try performing some further tests to see if it is possible to grant compatibility with that feature.
Can you please send us the 2.5 version via we transfer or something because we are on a major rush to make it work and we tried to download it over 20 times so now evanto limited us to wait until tomorrow and we didn’t managed to get the 2.5 version as it wasn’t available yet? If possible would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Please retry now, it is available.
Was it ok? Please try also the new 2.6 version. It has a refined “add to quote” mechanism more compatible with the “quick view” feature implemented by FlatSome (it will avoid the “items in quote” to show wrong numbers).
Hello,
Does the customer get an email notification when he requests a quote? Something like “Your quote have been submitted we will be in touch soon”. Or does he get an email only after I accept or reject the quote?
Thanks!
Hello,
actually the plugin did not have that feature. But, thanks to your suggestion, I’ve just implemented in the latest 2.0 I’ve just released!
You will be able to customize the texts of that notification via the Email menu: https://nimb.ws/FyZBkJ
You can test that and the other feature via the demo site! I hope you enjoy it!
Wow that is amazing!
I have another question about something I can’t seem to find in the demo. Is there a way to change the text of the “Add to Quote” button?
No problem! I’ve added that option in the new 2.1 version. You find the customizable text under the settings menu: https://nimb.ws/jpxLDF
how can i show both , “add to cart (or buy) ” button. and “add to quote” button on the same product
You cannot. If a product needs to be quoted, cannot be purchased.
Hi,
good news. The new 1.9 version allows to add quotable products to the cart. Just enable the special option you find in the options menu: https://nimb.ws/RhWFA6
Hi, Plugin is not hiding price on home page (refer image), Prices are not visible on product page but Quote button is also not visible. Please help. If there any proper documentation, step by step guide for the configuration. https://store.zakariailyas.com/
https://ibb.co/Hdn24N1 and https://ibb.co/T8DQVdFHi,
the issue could depend on a 3rd party plugin interference (or even the theme). It might happen that another plugin is managing prices and “add to cart” button preventing the plugin to work as expected. It could also depend on a caching issue. If you are using any caching plugin, try to temporarily disable it.
- your email address
- full admin access to the wp-admin area
- FTP access
- a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue
I can perform some further tests to see if it is possible to determine the cause.
NOTE: all the requested points are mandatory, do not forget to report any of them.
If you cannot share, try to temporarily disable all the other 3rd party plugins and see if you are still experiencing the issue. If still experiencing it, try to temporarily switch the theme.
In order to exclude any plugin malfunctioning, try also to use the following site: https://codecanyondemo.work/wcqt/wp-admin/ (user: demo, pass: demo) to recreate your scenario. Report to me if you are experiencing the issue and if so, please report to me a step-by-step guide on how to.
Thank you for your collaboration.
Hi, I tried disabling the plugins and i found issue was with Redux Framework plugin, I believe this is essential plugin and should not be disabled. Please advise.
Hi,
Thank you for reporting the result of your investigation.
You are completely right. If that plugin is generating an interference, you should then report that malfunction to its developer in order to fix it. I cannot fix a 3rd party software I haven’t designed.
Its developer must make sure his software is not altering the normal WooCommerce behavior when prices and the add to cart button are rendered.
For example, he must make sure it is not preventing the woocommerce_loop_add_to_cart_link, woocommerce_simple_add_to_cart and woocommerce_product_single_add_to_cart_text to be properly triggered by the shop and product pages templates.
Otherwise, the other plugins (like the WooCommerce Quote) won’t be able to hook during the price and add to cart elements rendering and implement its features (hide the prices and render the “add to quote button” instead of the “add to cart” button).
Hi, It doesn’t make sense that the offered plugin will not work with the core engine of wordpress, its actually not a third party software issue, its issue of offering which is not supporting with the parent (software) for which its created. May be due to lesser sales people have not notified this but eventually for working the plugin it shall be complying with WP requirements i.e. redux frame work. Hope to see the fix it in order to use the plugin else its useless.
This is really awesome plugin and really solving alots of issues but still with redux no use. Please advise.
Hi,
The Redux Framework plugin that you identified as the cause of the issue, is not the core engine of WordPress. It is developed by 3rd party developers: Team Redux.
As reported in the plugin description page, under the note on 3rd party plugins paragraph, If other plugins are altering the price of the add to cart button management, this might interfering with the plugin features leading it to non work as expected. The fact that a plugin is working with WordPress, doesn’t mean that it won’t generating interferences with other plugins. Especially if they are implementing custom features that are not part of the standard working workflow (like customizing the WooCommerce page templates. Those standards must not be altered to grant other 3rd parties to work. If altered, they won’t be able to know where to hook and how).
In order to not be missing anything, and to be sure the plugin actually raising any issue with the WordPress core, please use the following clean installation of the plugin: https://codecanyondemo.work/wcqt/wp-admin/ (user: demo, pass: demo) to recreate your scenario. Report to me if you are experiencing the issue and if so, please report to me a step-by-step guide on how to. I’ll be glad to investigate further.
If instead you share the login data I’ve requested on the first comment, I can perform some further investigation on your installation to see IF it is possible to implement a workaround to prevent that 3rd party plugin to interfere.
Hi, I am not able to activate the license, please help. getting error as : Purchase code is invalid!
Hi, Please make sure you are using a fully HTML5 compliant browser like chrome or Firefox.
Hello
I am trying to activate it, but it tells me “Purchase code is invalid!”.
So, I can’t use it. Do I get a refund?
Regards,
Simon
Hi Simon,
apologize for the inconvenience. Please download the latest 1.7 version I’ve just released. It fixes the issue you were experiencing with the activation. Please, make also sure you are using a fully HTML5 compliant browser like Chrome or Firefox.
Good morning, I am writing to ask if it is possible to have the add to quota pulosant on products that are not in stock, as we would have that need.
Hi,
yes the “add to quote” button is also displayed for products that are not in stock.
we tried in the demo but if product is ut of stock there’s no buttons…
Another question: there’s a way to see both “the add to quote” AND the “buy” button (single products and shop page)?
thanks!
- Eternal Sunset Collection Lip and Cheek: https://nimb.ws/qjKO3b
- Shop page: https://nimb.ws/IY39Zb
- Product page: https://nimb.ws/S8nMbW
Regarding the add to quote and the add to cart buttons, they cannot be displayed both together. The plugin is not designed for that.
Hi, few questions: - Can I edit the cart page? - Can I use some form plugin instead of your form? - How customer account is create when sending a quote since there is not many information being asked? I tried your demo, and it was added to “customer demo” account instead of the new customer - Can Add to cart co-exist with the quote option? Or the product must have one or the other? - Is the email template editable? Can I add some shortcodes in the default email to load the quote data? - Can I convert a quote to an order using the admin? TIA!
- I’m sorry, you canot
- The plugin doesn’t create any customer account. It eventually associates the form fields to order fields (https://nimb.ws/cnWzOI ). If the user is logged in, the quote is associated with the current user id
- No. Quotable products are managed separately from the default Cart. They are added to a special “quote cart” (https://nimb.ws/dXMfZa ). The quotable product list can be seen on the request quote page: https://nimb.ws/OpHvQo
- Yes email templates are editable. You find the template in the plugin folder (it can be copied into child them). The email heading, body, and subject can be edited via the special Emails menu: https://nimb.ws/50iXBC
- No, you cannot. Quote emails are managed separately by the plugin
- Yes, you can. The Quotes are Orders with special statuses (New quote, pending quote, etc. You find the list on the plugin page). You can see them via the Quote menu: https://nimb.ws/ba2Knk . Once you mark them as “accepted quote”, the user can pay it (he will receive an email): https://nimb.ws/2W6ROx . Once paid, it will be listed among the orders. You can eventually mark the Quote with any order status (like on hold, processing, etc). Once done, it will be listed among orders
I am running a woocommerce multi vendor marketplace and I am using WCFM Marketplace. So do your plugins support WCFM Marketplace? Pls know my theme is Rehub theme
Thank you.
Hi,
I’m sorry, but the plugin hasn’t any particular support for the WCFM Marketplace plugin.
Hi is it possible to connect this Plugin with Fancy Product Designer, when i design a Shirt an then to ask a quote…
Hi,
The plugins have not been tested together. If you send me a private message (click on my name then use the low-right box) reporting your email address, I’ll reply with mine where you can send that plugin. I’ll will then setup a private demo site where you can fully test them in action.
