Hello, a couple of questions.
Are the events in these cases done in a new tab or is it created as a product like in woocommerce?
Is it possible for each product to place a calendar with different dates and different prices depending on the user (adults – kids – partners)?
With the purchase of this plugin does it come with other things? For example, that sales arrive in the mail with a qr and that this can be read on the day of the event?
Greetings
Hi andante-cl,
FooEvents “events” are WooCommerce “products”. FooEvents adds an extra tab(s) under “Product Data” where you can set the event-specific options.
It is possible to use WooCommerce “variations” to offer different ticket types with different prices, and you can use our FooEvents Calendar plugin to display calendars.
Only the main/core FooEvents for WooCommerce plugin is available here on CodeCanyon. The main plugin includes the features that allow you to automatically send tickets with QR codes to attendees, and to use our Check-ins app to scan then QR codes and check attendees in.
However, if you need additional features such as calendar functionality, booking slots from which customers can choose, multi-day events, PDF tickets, seat selection or Point-of-Sale functionality then you need to purchase these from our website.
Please contact our support team if you have any other questions: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/
Can anyone tell me how to hide the FooEvents menu item in the backend for authors? Some links from FooEvents I could already hide, only some I just can not get away. Namely, they are the following: edit.php?post_type=event_magic_tickets admin.php?page=fooevents-ticket-themes admin.php?page=fooevents-settings admin.php?page=fooevents-reports admin.php?page=fooevents-checkins-import admin.php?page=fooevents-introduction
Best code in function.php.
Hi, please contact our support team directly through the form on our website, thanks: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/
Is this compatible with https://themeforest.net/item/wilcity-directory-listing-wordpress-theme/22066447? And Will I get an app for the Hokan vendors to use to scan their event tickets?
Hi,
FooEvents was not specifically integrated with this theme so we cannot guarantee that everything will work as expected. Here are some WordPress themes that we recommend: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/topics/third-party-integration/recommended-wordpress-themes/
If you are referring to Dokan then please have a look at this article with more information about using FooEvents on a multi-site setup: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/frequently-asked-questions/installation-setup/can-i-install-fooevents-on-a-multisite-multi-vendor-network/
Is the Scanner app while label?
It is possible to set your own logo and colours for the white-labelled FooEvents Check-ins mobile app, but it is not possible to distribute the mobile app under your own name in the app stores though.
Ok I am looking for something like that. Thanks for the responses. Appreciate it
Hi,
I’m helping out an client who’s using the plugin aswell as the code-snippet “Display products and variations (tickets) in a table grid format”.
But the attributes is shown as capitalized? Also – it doesnt support norwegian letters?
“Æresmedlem er IKKE medlem” is shown as: “Aeresmedlem Er Ikke Medlem”.
Is there any fix?
Thanks
Hi, please contact our support team directly for further assistance, thanks: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/
Hi, my scenario is: I like to sell tickets for a roadshow. It means I have multiple locations on different date / with different stock. I think it is possible with your Booking extension.
But can I offer single and double tickets as well (maybe with variations)? Double ticket must deduct two units from the same stock Im using for single tickets.
Thank you.
Hi josefsson,
Yes, this is possible to do. You are welcome to have a look at this example event: https://demo.fooevents.com/product/public-swimming-pool/. If you e.g. choose the Ticket Type “Family of 4” you will see that the quantity automatically changes to 4. We have a tutorial explaining how to set this up, and you are also welcome to contact our support team directly for more information.
Perfect, thank you!
One last question in my mind: If I create one ticket with multiple date / different stock, it is possible for example to offer early bird tickets with different prices? So if I have 200 tickets for a specified date, I like to sell the first 50 in a cheper price, and the rest 150 in a normal price. On another date I offer 350 tickets, I like to sell the first 100 in a cheper price and the rest in normal and so.
Thank you
Since events created using FooEvents are also WooCommerce products, you can make use of the Sale Price feature of WooCommerce that should work with event products. The discounted price can then be scheduled for certain date ranges. Here’s some more information: https://woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/#product-data
Thank you.
In the fooevents multiday event is it it possible to create different timeslot for same day (for example 9:00am to 11:00am is morning session and 12:00pm to 3:00pm evening session for the same day) so that same QR code can be used for two sessions in the same day?
Hi, that is correct. The FooEvents Multi-day extension makes it possible to add multiple check-ins for a single event.
I have a question before buying.
Is it possible to specify the number of tickets per customer? For example: If I buy 10 tickets, should I only receive one QR code instead of 10 separate QR codes? Thanks for help.
Hi, thank you for your interest in FooEvents.
By default the same number of tickets with QR codes will be created as the number of items being purchased.
However, you can set your events up in a different way so that only one QR code is created or displayed, depending on your exact requirements.
You could have variations (options) called e.g. “1 Ticket”, “5 Tickets”, “10 Tickets” etc. and give each variation its own price. You might need to make some adjustments if you want to keep track of stock in which case you can also then modify the ticket theme to only display the first QR code. If you are not keeping track of stock then you don’t need to make any ticket theme adjustments.
Please contact our support team directly if you need additional guidance or more information.
Can you add a search field to the “Reports” page in wp-admin? It would be very useful. Thanks.
Thank you for the suggestion. I’ve added this to our list of features to consider implementing in the future.
I purchased the plugin, but later found out that the pdf and check in feature is not included in the plugin. Can you tell me how can I upgrade my license to the basic bundle? Alternatively, can you give me a refund?
You can purchase the FooEvents PDF Tickets extension here – https://www.fooevents.com/products/fooevents-pdf-tickets/
We also offer various bundle options that include the PDF Tickets plugin, please take a look at our pricing page to find out more.
Check-ins are built into the main FooEvents plugin and you do not need to purchase a separate plugin to add this feature. The FooEvents check-ins apps are also free and can be used to manage check-ins at your event – https://www.fooevents.com/features/apps/
Does the purchase of the plugins include FooEvents POS?
The version that is available here on CodeCanyon is the main FooEvents for WooCommerce plugin only, which does not include FooEvents POS. If you would like to purchase our bundles or other plugin extensions, including FooEvents POS, then you can do so directly from our website.
Hi there, is it true to automatically generate zoom links and have webinars with this plugin, we have to have a ZOOM VIDEO WEBINAR PLAN purchases for $918 / year? Please confirm this. Thanks!
Also, what is the difference between MEETINGS and WEBINARS? aren’t they the same thing, both online zoom video conferencing? Can you explain the difference. That would be much appreciated.
Hi Calebmtl,
Meetings allow all attendees to see each other whereas webinars have a lot more features. Zoom explains the difference between a webinar and meeting in detail on their website if you want to read more.
FooEvents works with both meetings and webinars. The $918 price that you refer to is for Zoom’s webinar plan. You can purchase this if you need to use webinars specifically, but if you want to use the FooEvents and Zoom integration for meetings only then you don’t need the webinar plan. FooEvents requires a Zoom plan that has access to the REST API at least. Access to the REST API is included in all of Zoom’s paid plans. The cheapest paid plan currently seems to be $149 USD per user per year.
I hope this answers your questions. If you have any other questions please contact our support team, thanks.
I have a presale question. Can I use fooevents to show the ticket which can also be downloaded, on the thank you page right after successful payment? I think usually tickets are sent via email but this feature would be great.
Hi, if you are also using the FooEvents PDF Tickets plugin extension (available on our website) then you can add a link on the Thank You page that will redirect the user to their account on your site where they can download their tickets as PDF files.
Is there any tutorial on how to do that? If you have this feature than we’ll be very grateful
Yes, you can have a look here: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/frequently-asked-questions/tickets/can-i-show-tickets-on-the-thank-you-page-after-checkout/
If an event registration includes lunch and dinner then how is it possible to check if the lunch and dinner by the user has already taken? Will there be separate QR code for dinner and lunch to confirm the dinner and lunch coupon used?
Hi shiringit, that would depend on how you’ve set up your events. If you want to have separate QR codes then you can create two separate events, one for lunch and one for dinner. Alternatively you can consider also using our FooEvents Multi-day plugin extension and setting the “Number of days” to 2. This means that you can check the attendee in two separate times, one for lunch and one for dinner, using the same QR code. If you need more information, please contact our support team directly, thanks.
Hi, your website gets blocked by all browser, even by my ISP (possible reason suggested by the browser: it contains malware) My guess: your ssl certificate isn’t set-up correctly. Can you fix that so i can “safely” browse your page? Thanks
Hi quentro, as far as we can see there is nothing wrong with our SSL certificate or our website. The certificate has been set up correctly and is valid. We cannot replicate this issue and we don’t have any other customers experiencing this issue as far as we’re aware. This means that there might be an issue on your specific setup. If you continue to experience problems please contact our support team directly and we will do our best to resolve the issue for you.
Hi there,
We just finished testing our website again using various web browsers and platforms, but we can’t replicate your reported issue. Please see this short video: https://www.loom.com/share/e7b6c559a0394ceb8036165a8ef0f650
As you can see on the video above, our SSL Certificate was issued on Monday, November 28, 2022 and valid until Sunday, February 26, 2023 by Let’s Encrypt. Based on your screenshots, it looks like you’re viewing a different SSL Certificate on the website. I’ll have to consult the development team, but as far as I know, we’ve always used Let’s Encrypt for our SSL Certificates and never used “Secucloud.”
For now, please try visiting our website using a different web browser with no add-ons or extensions. You may also try using a different device to see if you would get the expected result.
If you continue to experience problems, please contact our support team directly, and we will do our best to resolve the issue for you: https://help.fooevents.com/contact
Is there a way for the user to scan the QR to access a private website page?
This is not functionality that is included in FooEvents. The QR code is always the ticket number only, and not other information. Our Check-ins mobile app can scan this QR code and then automatically check the attendee in to which that ticket number belongs. If you want something else to happen when scanning the QR code then this might be possible to do depending on your requirements, but this will need to be custom development.
Pre-sales questions:
1. Sell tickets as a woo commerce product, just click “buy now” with no request for dropdown boxes to be filled in i.e. consent date. Meaning, one buy click to checkout.
2. In your screenshots on the Item Details page, I see you capture customer name, number, email, Designation etc. Is this optional or no fields are requested? including no book slot options.
4. Serial code emailed to the customer with an expiry date
5. Scan the ticket to redeem
6. All data on used and unused available to track
Does this plugin allow me to get these features, if not, what add-ons do I need?
Thanks
Hi,
1. Yes, it is possible to buy a ticket directly, skip the cart page and then go to the checkout page. Customers will need to complete the checkout process on the checkout page itself so that the FooEvents variables can be set correctly in the background, but you can reduce the number of fields that customers need to fill in.
2. Yes, you can capture additional details or you can set it so that no additional details or any extra FooEvents information is captured.
4. Yes, you can set it up so that a ticket with either a barcode or QR code is automatically emailed to the purchaser or attendees. You can set that this ticket expires a certain amount of time after purchase, or at a fixed time. You can add the actual expiry time as extra information on the ticket.
5. Yes, you can use our free Check-ins mobile app to scan barcodes to check attendees in
6. FooEvents lets you download a CSV file of all attendees and their information and there are also Reports tools available.
For the features that you mention here it doesn’t sound like you need any FooEvents add-ons. Please contact our support team if you have any other questions.
Hi, what’s the difference with this plugin and the one sold at fooevents.com?
Hi,
The version sold here on CodeCanyon is the main/core FooEvents for WooCommerce plugin only. It provides the basic ticket-selling, barcode and check-in functionality.
On our website you can also purchase bundles which include extension plugins such as:- letting your customers select booking date and time slots
- letting your customers select seats from a seating chart
- letting your customers download tickets as PDF files from their account on your site
- capture custom information about each attendee
- sett up multi-day events which could be useful if you sell passes
- sell and print tickets directly through our POS
Please contact our support team directly if you need more information.
Currently I send the details of the orders by whatsapp, through the Official API, is it possible to send the image access QR by whatsapp with your solution?
Hi, FooEvents does not currently integrate with any functionality that allows you to send information via WhatsApp. You might be able to achieve this with custom code.

Hi, Is this price is Lifetime price, or I have to renewing every year?
CodeCanyon itself provides lifetime plugin updates, but if you want to receive automatic plugin updates or technical support then you will either need a valid support license from CodeCanyon or a subscription on our website.
