Hi, I am interested as the Design looks really good and features are very impressive. But there is a question I’d like to ask first: You said in one of your replies that: “The player uses the YouTube API” Does it mean that we have to create a Youtube App, get Api key, etc. to make this work (each of your client has his own quota) or are we all using your developer API quota to get connected to Youtube? Becasue if so, then after a while if your quota is overused and api is limited, we may have issues. Could you please clarify this? Thanks.

Hi thanks for the reply. Are you sure that this Player (for WP) has this API connection feature with a key? I am confused because I have checked the Settings in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwNqOK0UCFE) and didn’t see any field for the API Key in your settings… Maybe another one of your players has this feature, but not this one? You have many Players in Envato, but I need this one as it is compatible with WP but I need to be sure that API key is possible to use so that we will not have problems related to quota issues etc. Please let me know. The API key is used to automatically read the video title, description and image to be displayed in the player playlist and it is added in the PHP file

Hi, so if I understand correctly then in order to be able to use our own GoogleApi keys, we will have to edit some of the plugin codes? Because I didn’t see any API key field where we can put the key,token etc. in your video… But editing your plugin files will make this possible maybe..?. Will you show us how to do this if we purchase? Please clarify if it works like this. Thanks.

Question: The new funktion – load Titel and image from youTube – has one Problem. The images on youTube are 4:3 or 16.9 but the images on the universal Player is something like 4:4 so Square. Therefore the image ist ugly be course or rescaling or better squizzing…. How to solve that?

After purchasing this product, I have found my setting DOES WORK with this plugin. So, I wanted to let other users know about it. Technically, this setting is not 100% “public,” but it doesn’t prevent you from putting your Vimeo videos on your playlist.
