Hi i tried installing on our site. The site has kentha theme installed. But I am getting the following “Kentha Radio” requires “QT KenthaPlayer” version 3.3.0 or greater. Where do i get 3.3.0. I currently have Version 3.0.9 player
please go to kentha admin page, and click Install and Update plugins, then update all you see in the list. For further support, you need to extend the service, since it seems your support service was expired a long time ago. Thanks

hi, the volume button lowers the volume of the amount you set it. It depends on where you click.
yeah I get that _ but the actual amount it changes in volume goes from full to like 90% to like 80% (in the bottom 25% of it) and then off. There isn’t really a big change between full volume and the lowest it will go before it mutes. I was wondering if there is a way to change the amount it turns it down when clicking on the different areas.
This is how we decided to make it work after quite a good amount of tests and not changing it at the moment. There must be for sure a technical reason behind the choice…
Yeah, I get that but the actual amount its turning down the incoming volume of the station is not as much as it shows. So say its running at -3db, turning it down to 20% only drops it to -5db or so.
It doesn’t work in DB like a daw, it works in % which is not a linear correlation with the DB. A daw works with an exponential curve because it correspond to the perceived volume in relationship with the 0db maximum output.
The interface of the website works in percentage so the change is managed by the javascript depending on the place you click, as 100% for the full icon to 0% empty icon.
The perceived change is different than the graphical % change because the scope of the payer is to make the music a bit softer if that’s too loud or you are listening to something else at the same time, not to mix tracks like on Ableton or Traktor, so its precision didn’t require to follow an exponential algorhythm for the calculation.
That would have been a useless overcomplication of a simple requirement…

Hi I have a problem with KENTHA theme and QT Kentha Ajax Pageload plugin. If this plugin is disabled, I browse all pages fine. If it is active as I would like, in order not to interrupt the audio from the radio while browsing, some pages do not load (the loader continues to run) and it is no longer possible to navigate between the pages with the menu. I tried to keep only the plugins that come with the theme, but the problem persists. The characteristics of the hosting respond perfectly to the required requirements. How can I fix? Thank you. P.S. Solamente che in questo modo non si può ascoltare la Radio e navigare senza che l’audio venga interrotto al cambio di pagina.

There is no bug in the theme, the map is not added in the correct way and is breaking the page loading.

Hello – Does this player (along with main theme) have this option available?
For example, can I have a list of stations
Genre Pop: Station 1 Station 2 Station 3 Station 4
Genre Dance / EDM: Station 5 Station 6 Station 7 Station 8
etc – If so, do you perhaps have a sample in one of your demos? I have looked everywhere but can’t seem to find an example of what I am needing this to do for my client’s project
If I click Station 3 (for example) will it play in the footer/sticky player? Is there any documentation on how I can achieve this?
Also, I assume it displays meta data (icecast) in the RADIO Version player?

Thanks for the info. So, first of all please notice this plugin is ONLY for the theme Kentha (is not for just any theme out there). With this plugin you can add to your website compatibility for any web radio stream.
So you need your external streaming provider (shoutcast icecast or similar) and then embed the stream in the website.
Also, this plugin adds several radio station functionalities such as radio shows, schedule of weekly shows, team members and multiple elementor widgets.
Otherwise, if you want to just play single podcasts, you don’t even need this plugin but only the Kentha theme.
You can upload the podcast in your website in mp3 format, creating a podcast archive, and you can play them through the player of the theme.
Podcasts can be linked to their authors and can be preloaded in the player. This is actually a pretty common usage of the theme for many of our customers. Podcasts can play one after another if preloaded in the player from the administrator or by the user himself who can create his own playlist.

I re created the same account with same username and my ticket is no longer there, it is like you deleted my account and so lost the ticket! I really do not know how to use this plugin as I have set up a shoutcast account but it doesn’t have any settings, info that you require to link the accounts. For example – SHOUTCast XMl Feed HOST SHOUTCast XMl Feed PORT SHOUTCast SSL Protocol If your stream supports HTTPS connection, select this option. SHOUTCast Channel (default 1)

Dear QantumThemes! If I try to edit the “Schedule” menu, and try to add a new chapter/show, it’s jump to the top, but nothing happen. If I change some items or schedule in the table, and click “Refresh” – nothing happen. Do you have any solution for this? Thank you!

Hello, this theme doesn’t have those features, sorry, anyhow you can edit the show pages with Elementor or WPBakery, and manually add carousels or grids of team members or anything else, selected by ID or filtered by category.
So you can obtain the same result just using Elementor or WPBakery.
