Hi,

I’ve searched all over the internet so maybe someone here has the solution.

There are several calendar data formats available in Motopress. But not the right format for here in the Netherlands.

We use dd-mm-yyyy or dd-mm-yy, these are not available in motopress for the calendar. How can I solve this? And does anyone happen to have the code?

The available calendar date formats at the moment are in the settings:

mm/dd/yyyy dd/mm/yyyy yyyy-mm-dd dd.mm.yyyy

Hi, thanks for your question. There is no possibility to rewrite the function to add more date formats. For now you may edit the following file \motopress-hotel-booking\includes\settings\date-time-settings.php to add one more time format to the list

In plugin settings there is an option:
Direct Booking Form: Show price for selected period
When we check this option, it shows to the clients the variable price for 1 guest only and not the price of the room.

Then there is this option:
Direct Booking Form: Show price together with adults and children fields
When we check this one, the guests can choose the number of adults and children and show the right price. However, when they click on confirm and go to the checkout page they have to choose these numbers again :/

The dates are transfered correctly but it does not make sence to choose the number of guests twice!
Is there any way to fix this issue?

Hello there, thank you for your question. Yes, by default the number of guests must be selected once again on the Checkout page – this was done to avoid any kind of mistake by guests and make sure they still select the right number of guests in a booking.

Is it possible to have a weekly room rate, and ONLY a weekly room rate. This is how holiday rentals/gites work all over Europe? So the user can book 7 days, or 14 days, but not 8 days or 9 days or any other number that isn’t a full week.

I watched your video about creating ‘weekly rates’ here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnOed2Q9V88 but it only talks about rates for stays longer than 7 days, i.e. the people can still book 8 or 9 days.

Hello there, thank you for your question. Such scenario is possile in case you specify an exact check-in/check-out days in the plugin settings. In this case your guests will be only able to book Monday to Monday, or Friday to Friday etc. This will allow you to get weekly bookings only

Yes, they will be able to book 2, 3 etc. weeks. For example, if bookings are allowed from Monday to Monday only, your guests will be able to book December 12 – December 19 (1 week), or December 12 – December 26 (2 weeks), or December 12 – January 2 (3 weeks) etc.

Hello, how do you set price based on amenities? Im looking for a plugin that would work in this scenario:

Surfcamp website has 4 different packages with different prices for a week per persoon. The surfcamp has in total 10 twin rooms. So after exploring your plugin’s demo I was thinking that maybe i could use it if the price would change based on selected package set as amenity, but I can’t find where to do this.

Hi, Using the Hotel Booking plugin it is possible to add different Rates to the same accommodation types to let the guest select a proper price e.g. Refundable and Non refundable, with breakfast included or without it. Perhaps you may use different rates as packages.
Also the plugins allows you to add various season prices apply variable price by custom length of stay +price per number of the guests. Feel free to launch a 7 day trial demo and explore these capabilities.

There is no option to show the name of the guest instead of Booking ID or add bookings with drag-n-drop at the back-end calendar. You may hover or click on booking to show additional information.

can you enter the arrival time field? for day use hotels

Hi, Thanks for your question. The plugin do not ask the guest to indicate the time of arrival. You may ask to specify this and other information in the Notes field of the checkout form.

Is it possible to enable enquiry form instead of a direct booking?

Yes, there is confirmation mode available that allows you to review each new placed reservation. So you may decide whether to confirm and cancel the received reservation. Or you may hide booking forms and add custom contact forms to the pages of your properties. Thus you will get emails from your guests and will be able to add bookings manually as an admin.

Does this plugin offers accomodation managers/owners possibility to log in with their account (user role) and manage only their accomodation(s)? In other words, I want them to be able to login and only edit bookings and calendar for their accomodation, only one or couple accomodations that are allowed for them by admin, and not others.

Hello there, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the Hotel Booking plugin does not allow multi-vendor/owner functionality to allow each owner to manage their properties only. We do have such a feature request and we are collecting feedback from our users regarding this matter, so we might consider implementing this feature to the plugin in future

an option to discount the room rate if staying multiple nights - There is a possibility to create coupon codes with certain conditions, e.g. the length of stay, so your guests will be able to apply those coupons if their stay is long enough.

Hello there, make sure there are no spaces before/after the link when pasting to Booking.com import calendar interface. Also the link will not be accepted in case the website is under maintenance. Some OTAs also do not accept links with empty .ics files, make sure there is at least one booking to import it to the corresponding listing at Booking.com

Hi there, unfortunately, the Hotel Booking does not allow integration with multi-tenants and there is currently no app for customers, only one for admins

Hello there, unfortunately there is no integration with multi-tenants and no SaaS solution available in the plugin. The possibility of such customization appears to be a matter of major custom development, which is also not available for now

Hello there, yes, sure, you may implement plugin elements, e.g. booking form or availability calendar to existing pages either via shortcodes or via Elementor widgets/Divi modules. Note that you will be able to configure the plugin itself anyway, so it displays valid availability and prices

Is it possible to automatically add discount coupon at checkout ?

Hello there, unfortunately, there is no such option, your guests are able to apply a coupon code during checkout themselves. Alternatively admin may apply a coupon code manually via dashboard after the booking is made by a guest
