Selected Variation Name Not Showing
Hello, I hope you guys are doing well.
When a variation is selected, its name doesn’t get displayed on the screen even though I have ticked the option of ‘Show Selected Variation Name’ in the settings. It only shows name of default variation, when I switch to other variations name of variation missing. Hope you guys will look into it and hopefully it will be an easy fix. I am using Woodmart theme. Normally, if the imported variations/products are formatted correctly based on WooCommerce standard, then our plugin can find and replace the variation design with our swatches.
But still, we recommend you should test with the free version first: http://bit.ly/product-variations-swatches-for-woocommerce
One more thing, for imported products, commonly the attributes will be custom attributes. You would need to check that carefully if the imported attribute/product/variation is custom or global, and configured the corresponding settings in our plugin. My variation name is long. Example: 1-Seater 35” – 55” (90cm -140 cm). When I try using the button / select, it looks very bad because the long variation name is squeezed into a square box.
I want the button to be a long rectangle button, and arranged vertically, like this website: https://ownkoti.com/products/suede-pure-color-stretchable-couch-cover Look at the “Size” variation attribute.
Mine is: Squeezed into a square box with long variation name inside. The variation boxes are arranged from left to right (instead of vertical arrangement like the example above)

It looks like a simple product on sale, does it have variations in product data?
Normally, the variations should show instantly when they’re configured properly (price, stock quantity…). If your variation is set up correctly, but the variations are still invisible, please create a support ticket on this Support Forum, we would need to check further.

After the last update, the photos that are in the attributes do not allow to change the main photo when clicking a variation. After we reverted to version 1.0.11 it started working again.

That’s odd. We don’t update the function of changing product images, or related function. There’s no change in the plugin regarding the product image.
Can you check the issue with only WooCommerce and our plugin the latest version? I doubt it’s a conflict. You may regard this WooCommerce documentation for specific steps.

Hi, I justed renewed licence but the support page isn’t updated yet, so I place my question here: We use quantity field format with minus and plus on the left resp. right side of the quantity field. I made the product image change to variation image when you change “Color” attribute, there’s only one product “Basic Micro Rib Turtleneck” that I made it change product image when you change “Size” attribute. Please ignore my dull design.

It depends on the variation image as well. If you don’t want to show the variation image, please don’t set one. Showing image of the selected variation will always take the priority because it’s WooCommerce function. Please try removing all variation image if there’s any and check again.

Yes, you can import product in bulk from other sources. But it can’t be done by this plugin. WooCommerce Product Variations Swatches is for customizing WooCommerce variations, its function does not manage that part.

It’s hard to migrate the settings from a variation swatches plugin to another which is not developed by the same company. Because these 2 are developed differently, regardless of their similar function.
Our plugin has option to export and import settings, but it works internally only, which means you can migrate settings of our plugin from one site to another, but not from this plugin to a different swatches plugin.
Regarding bundle plugins, unfortunately, we don’t sell plugins in bundle.
