Please help me to get a docker image of the frontend.
Is it possible to use the frontend without docker or to use the project frontend and backend without docker?
Hello, Yes of course
First of all get node js installed (Tested 20.3.1).
- Go to Frontend directory: ** Run => npm install Run => ng serve
- Go to your database manager ** 1/ Create a database (choose a name) 2/ import dump.sql provided in backend directory
- Go to backend directory * set .env information that fit your database config (Host, port, dbname, ..). Run => npm iinstall Run => npm run start
That’s all, thank you!
npm install shows a lot of errors. Please build the Software for me. I can it upload the dist-folders, setup the database and edit the .env. I have node.js 20 and 21.
Give me your email address
Hi, very nice! I have no experience with Angular und node.js. I want to use an ubuntu-server. Which environment I need for hosting and for developing?
Hello,
For Hosting with Docker:
1/ Install Docker: Install Docker on your Ubuntu server to manage containers and run your Angular and Node.js applications in isolated environments.
2/ Build Docker Images: Build Docker images for both the frontend (Angular) and backend (Node.js) components of your application using the provided Dockerfiles. Docker images contain everything needed to run your application, including code, dependencies, and environment configurations.
3/ Run Docker Containers: Run Docker containers based on the Docker images you built. Docker containers provide isolated environments for running your application, ensuring consistency and portability across different systems.
4/ Expose Ports (Optional): If necessary, expose ports in your Docker containers to allow external access to your application. You can specify which ports to expose in your Dockerfiles or Docker Compose configuration.
For Development with Docker:
1/ Operating System: Since you mentioned using an Ubuntu server, you can use Ubuntu as your development environment.
2/ Docker: Docker will be your primary tool for development. It provides a way to create, deploy, and run applications using containers. With Docker, you can encapsulate your application and its dependencies into a container, ensuring consistency across different environments.
3 /Integrated Development Environment (IDE): You can choose any IDE or code editor that you’re comfortable with. Some popular options for web development with Angular and Node.js include:
Visual Studio Code (VS Code): It’s a lightweight, open-source code editor with excellent support for TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js development. You can install various extensions to enhance your development experience. *WebStorm: It’s a powerful IDE specifically designed for web development, including Angular and Node.js. It offers advanced features such as intelligent code completion, debugging, and version control integration. *Sublime Text: Another lightweight and customizable code editor with a rich ecosystem of plugins for web development.
4/ Node.js and npm: While you won’t need to install Node.js and npm directly on your local system for development with Docker, it’s essential to ensure that your Docker containers include the necessary versions of Node.js and npm. You can specify the Node.js version and npm version in your Dockerfile to ensure consistency across development, testing, and production environments.
5/ Browser: You’ll need a web browser to test and interact with your Angular application during development. Popular choices include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.
6/ Terminal or Command Line Interface (CLI): You’ll use the terminal or CLI to run Docker commands, manage your Docker containers, and interact with your development environment. Ubuntu comes with a built-in terminal, but you can also use third-party terminal emulators like iTerm2 (for macOS) or Windows Terminal (for Windows) for a more feature-rich experience.
Hi, Can this be incorporated into my wordpress website?
Hello! Yes, it can be integrated with any website including wordpress but using Iframe. But Decozin will still have its own database and backend logic and not getting data from outside (wordpress DB). Regards,
Hi. I am planning to buy the product, but your demo website is not working and I need a demo account to test the features to see if it suits my needs?
Hello! here is a working demo (https://decozin.upwebapp.com/app/decozin) but the full demo that contains admin back-office is not yet ready.
Here is a playlist (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLssM_cSdgVjY78XC7gZL8HXWPh9Q24ggF&si=fSLDAKJZFZcZzmto) You can check out features right there.
The script’s frontend has a number of outdates packages under angular 13.3.0, therefore doesn’t compile or run.
Fixed, using Docker, Thanks
The script now works great. @chbanianass20 provided wonderful support to get it going on docker. Thanks!
Thank you =D
I have a laravel stock photo website – We want to provide your application as a tool so any stockphoto page will have option to view the photo with this application background. How do we do it?
Hello! This application has admin panel, so you have to upload each photo ( as a background) or ( as an object/art painting ) so the final user can view your photos as it shown in demo.. please check YouTube playlist to see the demo and how to use the app Thank you for being interested in Decozin.
Hi Can you please install on virtualmin or cloudpanel virtual server? I can pay for that.
What is your email ?
email sent..
Hi is it possible for images (paintings) to have transparent backgrounds? I was interested to know if this possibility exists. Thank you
Yes of course, send me the image URL right here, i will be adding it to Decozin paintings to show you the output.
In your case, if you want to use no-background images (PNG), don’t forget to go to configuration file, and set “settings.show_shadow_in_products = 0” to remove the shadow from (paintings).
