Hi, pre sale question: The name of your plugin is “multisite shared media” but all I can see is sync and duplicate but not really sharing same media. Is that right or did I misunderstood something?

I have a client that this plugin would be perfect for, but they require Form 889 to be filed with them (they’re a division in the US government). You don’t currently have this form on file – is there any chance it can be submitted? The form confirms that you don’t work with China.

I use free plugins of WordPress Multisite Content Copier/Updater

I tried to clone the website we called MASTER A to MASTER B

Then I tried editing the text and editing the image that was already in MASTER A and MASTER B, successfully.

Then I tried adding a new image to the MASTER A website then updating the MASTER A page

Then I Select destination sites you want to copy or update MASTER B

I chose Destination MASTER B

Extra Options Copy or update media (Attachments)

Then I click copy/update

Then I checked on MASTER B, the image was not visible on the MASTER B page. Other changes such as text were successful, only the image was not successful. Is there a solution?

If I buy this plugin will my goal be achieved? Or do you have another plugin that can do what I want?

If I select sync main site to subsites and have unsync disabled, will it: 1) Copy previously existing media to subsites, or only new ones? 2) Leave any media which is on subsites and which will be uploaded to subsites alone and not delete them? And how does it work with EWWW image optimizer if it is on the website?

The support and documentation seems lacking on this plugin. I need this functionality to sync images but not sure if this is a good plugin to buy.

Would it be possible to add a selection to choose the source site? We have a site in our multisite network that is specifically for media management and it would be great if we could choose that as the source site and have any images added to that site be synced to the other sites, but not other sites to that site. In addition, would be great to have an option to exclude certain sites from having media synced to it.

This could be options in the settings, or simply a hook that we can select the main site and list excluded sites. thanks

I have a question. Does just sync media library or is it an actual shared library? Like I only have to upload once and I can use the image across all sites or does it just make a copy on all sites so that is like site.com/1/image.jpg, site.com/2/image.jpg or is it just site.com/image.jpg?

Plugin does not seems to activate shared media on subsites. Is there something I need to do in order it to work?

I need to connect Main Site -> Sub sites so it won’t duplicate product files and keep all from main site.

Does cloning media from the primary site replace all the images and image IDs on the sub sites with new images and IDs?

Does this sync the media ID as well? It’s super important that the ID of the attachments match on all the sites in the multisite.
