Pre-sales question: I had the free plugin enabled and when I imported sale prices and dates via CSV, your plugin had set a start and finish time of 10am, even when I disabled your plugin. If I purchase your plugin, will you be able to assist me in setting a default start time of 12am and finish time of 11:59pm for all products I import to? Thanks!
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
You mentioned “even when I disabled your plugin”, does it mean that the sale schedule is still set to 10am with imported products when disabling our plugin?
The default time of sale schedule is always 12:00AM, but if it’s imported, I’m afraid you need to set the time again.
An important note is that our plugin only helps display the countdown timer, it does not interfere the sale schedule.
Best regards.
Hi there, how’s this plugin performing on stores with a higher amount of products. On my store we’re having roughly 7000 products with about 30000 variations and other plugins I used often bring my website to a 502 error once the sale ends.
Additionally, do you guys have tested it with caching plugins, or cloudflare APO?
And lastly, when applying the discounted price, is it overwriting the “real” prices in the database or how does it work?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
For cache plugin compatibility, we don’t commonly have cache issue. It’s just if you change settings in the backend, please ensure to clear cache before checking.
For the other questions, you can test our free version first: http://bit.ly/sales-countdown-timer

I don’t understand the Evergreen and Restart Countdown. In the documents , this feature is not clear. Please, can you explain how the evergreen feature works, and how the restart countdown works?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
The Evergreen and Restart function means that when the sale expired, it’ll start again after the time you set up in “Restart”

PRE-SALE: can I use it with LiteSpeed cache and with wp rocket cache ?

Hi, I need to have the same checkout timer’s position (before checkout form) for both cart page and check out page. Is it doable? Thanks.
Hi,
You can set the checkout timer before the checkout form on the checkout page. (Go to Checkout countdown > Design on checkout page > Position).
On other pages including the cart page, there are 2 position options available: sticky top or bottom (In the Design on other page tab)
You can regard this documentation: https://docs.villatheme.com/sales-countdown-timer/#set_up_child_menu_3921
Best regards.
Hi, I am aware of the restriction for position (sticky top and sticky bottom only) for other pages including the cart page. Is there any chance I can apply same position as checkout page (which is after the header) cos I don’t want sticky modes to ruin my website visuals.
Hi,
We will consider adding this display position on the cart page in the next updates. Please be patient.
Best regards.
Looking forward to it.
Hi, I’ve bought the premium version and the timer only works on single product page, category page and shop pages but I need it to be displayed on the home page. How To display it on products on the home page?
Hello,
Please fill the “Show on” field(https://docs.villatheme.com/sales-countdown-timer/#:~:text=activate%20this%20option.-,%E2%80%93%20Show%20on,-%3A%20to%20assign%20which ) of your countdown shortcode with:
is_shop()||is_product_category()||is_front_page()||is_home()
Let me know if it works.

Hi,
Thank you for using our plugin.
The counters that appear twice may be a result of the countdown timer schedule you set for this product and the counter shortcode. Please give us this product’s URL so we can help with the check.
You can contact us via our email: support@villatheme.com.
Best regards.

Hello! A customer asks me if a countdown can be included in the product page. The idea is that when you access the product, a 15-minute countdown begins where you can enjoy a special discount. This countdown is not associated with any date, it is simply activated when the customer accesses the product page. Do you know any plugin that can fulfill this function? Thanks in advance
H,
I think you are mentioning the Countdown evergreen feature, which allows repeating the countdown timer whenever it hits ending, if yes, this feature is available in this plugin’s premium version. You can see this documentation No 4
Best regards.
Yes that is! And the countdwon can be set to a specific time, like 15 minutes when the client opens the product page?
Hi,
You can set a specific time for the upcoming sale (For example 15m for opening selling) but it may not be started when the customer enters the product page.
Best regards.
Hi there, in terms of layout, I’d like to left align the countdown, I couldn’t find this option in the settings. Any workaround? Thanks.
Hi,
Please add this Custom CSS below in our plugin ( Countdown timer > General settings > Custom CSS)
.woo-sctr-shortcode-countdown-timer-wrap .woo-sctr-countdown-timer-layout {margin: initial}
.woo-sctr-shortcode-countdown-timer-wrap{justify-content: unset}
If you want the timer to align left on specific pages, please let us know, and we will propose a more appropriate Custom CSS.
Best regards.
Thank you for your quick reply! Unfortunately, it didn’t make a difference: https://thegrizzlygrub.com/product/marseillaise-fish-soup/
Hi,
The timer appears left as it should on your page, see this: https://prnt.sc/MjaEfiZzSZqp
What would you want it to look like? could you clarify and mark it by a screenshort?
Best regards
I’d like the counter itself to be left align: https://prnt.sc/HfKjBFR25McG Thanks.
Hi,
In this case, please use this custom CSS instead:
.woo-sctr-shortcode-countdown-timer-wrap .woo-sctr-countdown-timer-layout {margin: initial}
.woo-sctr-shortcode-countdown-timer-wrap{justify-content: unset}
.woo-sctr-shortcode-countdown-timer-wrap .woo-sctr-countdown-timer-layout .woo-sctr-countdown-timer{margin: initial}
Best regards.
I cleared the cache but still the same: https://prnt.sc/GFpGO1YIT8XI Thanks.
All good thank you, I changed unset to left + !important and it works, thanks.

Hi guys! Is it possible to show the time WITHOUT there being a sale price? I simply need to show a timer that I can set for every product with just a regular price. Will this plugin do that please?
Hi,
Yes, it is completely possible with our plugin.
Best regards.
Thanks. So i’ve bought the premium version and the timer is showing on single product page and shop page (awesome!!) but if I add a product tab on the home page and choose source to be a product category or tag the timer does not show. Im using Woodmart theme. How can I get this to work please? Many thanks.
