Hello just a quick pre-purchase question. I have had a play with the demo and I’m wondering if it is possible to use the default gutenberg editor to enter content or whether things are limited to the included docs editor.
I also could not add any documents in the demo. Is this disabled? Would very much like to see how it all works before purchasing if that possible.

Gutenberg is not supported currently at our editor, For adding docs it’s currently disabled at the demo but I have enabled this again go to your demo website then go to Plugins and activate DeepDocs then follow the install steps so you can try the editor.

At your demo dashboard go to Plugins menu and activate DeepDocs plugin,

The Appearance > Customize > DeepDocs menu is also missing in the customizer. is this also just a demo limitation?

This is actually because we have old version of the plugin on our demo, I have updated it you might check again now and also check the editor it’s include the latest features

hi, i am testing your theme using your sandbox. i am facing some issues.
1. when i add a doc article, it does not show on the frontpage or in the docs list.
2. in general settings, when i toggle off “use docs page slug with category” the site breaks.
3. when i change docs page name and choose the new name in settings, the theme breaks.
i am using twenty-twenty theme.

Hi, I thought I read in a comment that shortcodes can be used within the editor, if so? How can I do it, I have not found the way, I place the shortcode but it does not interpret it

Hi. I’m trying to create a doc and add sub docs in your demo but nothing is happening. It’s like there is a javascript issue. The publish button isn’t saving any docs. I’m interested in buying this but there seems to be a few issues.

Yeh, thanks but it’s still not working. The publish button does nothing. I can see the category that I created but adding a doc doesn’t do anything.
Well I just tested and it works fine, Can you try to add docs using the link “Add Doc” from the sidebar ?
Ok, that worked. One other small issue I’ve just found that adding a link the text of a doc opens in a new tab. I tried changing the “_self” in the html code of the link but it doesn’t save it after clicking OK and then Update Doc. It keeps reverting back to “_blank”. Is it possible to fix this? I think this plugin is what I’m looking for but I need to make sure before purchasing it for our client.
The html code button is for preview only, Link target attribute control will be added in the next update, For now the default target is blank but if you wish to change this to self I can show you how.

Hello dear DeepDocs team, when I have installed the plugin (latest version) and then go to the setup wizard, it always hangs on the plugin page. There is a line with “Docs” and it just loads for days and nothing happens. I’ve tried reinstalling several times. What can I do?

I just bought your plugin and tried to contact your support but it doesn’t work: Infinite load, and can’t send or read tickets. Error that was already stated 4 months ago by another user! It’s really annoying because your plugin breaks my site, i.e. all the social network logos are displayed in bad way and during the installation of your plugins, I have Ajax errors for all the plugins required (I don’t understand why it needs other plugins to work). Your plugin wants to install all these plugins: Custom Twitter Feeds, Envato Market, Instagram Feed, Kirki, Revolution Slider, WooCommerce Plugin. Is it really necessary to have all these plugins installed? I don’t really want a load of plugins affecting my site speed.
I want to use your plugin as a simple KB, I don’t want/need WooCommerce or RevSlider – which can I remove? I dont need to sell anything and I don’t want any fancy sliders or twitter/insta integrations.

Thanks for the reply, I have setup the plugin on a vanilla installation with no other plugins, etc.. and it’s much better.
Quick feature suggestion – the document editor doesn’t handle images too well. It would be good if when the user pastes in an image the image is uploaded to the webserver and not hotlinked. Also, it would be good to have edit image controls so I can change the size of the image, etc..

1 – I’m confused by the word plugin. Is this the actually a complete product or just a plugin to an existing 3rd party product called DeepDocs
2 – Is this a subscription? Is this hosted on your server or on my server?
3 – Can i install it on my local machine just to configure it before I launch it on my ISP?
4 – I really like the Simple with Search theme. Is that included in this package?
5 – Are the installation steps easy to understand and concise. I’m not that tech savy

3 – Yes you can install it anywhere as long as it’s on the same domain or the same purpose
