Is there anyway to bypass the popup window (or resize it) so that winners can be redirected to another page please? I can do the redirection using code in the popup but I would like it smaller/customisable button etc

You can turn off popup in Basic tab > uncheck Show Win message in modal box
If you want to adjust popup or button size it can only be done with css styles, example code for popup:
.winwheel4wp_modal_box {
max-width: 64em;
max-height: 64em;
}
So simple and worked perfectly How did I miss that setting? Maybe it could say “WIN” message?
Maybe we should make the text more obvious / more bold in an update, but we are happy that you resolved the problem!

Generally you need to install and create a new wheel, then set up coupon codes on Slices tab, and customize Display options etc.
At the moment there is no in-depth documentation on features beyond plugin installation. We try to make plugin features self-explanatory so most users with WordPress background don’t have problem setting it up.
If you have questions on specific features, we can answer no problem.
hello, i like your plugin and before to buy it i have just 2 questions,
1- the result is it controllable ? i mean if i have just 5 pics of prizes and 100 pics of coupons, is the wheel can make more winner to coupons ?
2- the information required before the user can spin, is it controllable also ? if i need to collect name – mobile – email – custom question like age or any another info ?

1. Yes, it is possible to set win probability (5 levels – very low to very high) and total available wins for each slice
2. You can collect E-mail, Name, Phone number.. there are no custom fields

hello, the ‘max available win’ setting is per day? I need to give 1 big prize per day for my users, but only 1 big prize everyday. Is it possible with the ‘max available win’ setting? Do i need to reset something in the database every 24 hours? Thanks

Max available win is total wins, it is not per day. One solution would be to conditionally increase this number in database, you will need to inspect the winwheel4wp_wheels table

Not as an option but it’s possible to make sort of a workaround by adding Custom HTML block on the same page as the shortcode. HTML code in the link below:
https://jsfiddle.net/6kug4mx0/You will need to change img src for the button and replace wheel_id with same id thats provided in the shortcode. So line 1 and line 6 need to be changed.

Another feature request came in I thought was interesting, since the wheel can track which slice an email/IP won, maybe define an alternate/consolation so if they spin and win the same slice any subsequent times, an alternate prize can be awarded if the primary prize can’t be used more than 1x per person.

Depends on what you mean by translation. Generally yes you can change all the strings (buttons,messages) from within wheel configuration, but it’s not translatable using POT files
A nice feature would be if this plugin could integrate with a social media API and you can set it so that if a specific slice is win, it posts a generic message on your social media indicating that someone won that prize. Or maybe showed in a small label at bottom of the wheel the last 5 prizes/slices won for all to see.

1. Generic posts from social media apps have lost a lot of exposure because algorythms nowadays prefer organic posts that can really engage users, also integration with apis has become too complex to develop and maintain (at current plugin sales)

I noticed one issue when putting in HTML for the win message on slice popup, BR tags to add a carriage return are being removed when you click save change, though they show up when you click preview.

Yes, that is correct but note, this means on average 1 smartphone per 6666 spins if you do a large set of spins. It’s theoretically possible to land first slice multiple times within one set of 6666 spins, if available wins allows it.
I updated to Wordpress 5.6 today and ever since we updated, I have tons of reports that people click on the spin button but the wheel doesn’t spin, yet a log entry is still recorded. Never had so many complaints on the same day. They report they click the SPIN button but nothing happens.
You can ignore this I found the problem and resolved it.
